I visited Dot x Ott over a half-dozen times for lunch and dinner over an extended time in Bakersfield, and was pleased with my meal at every visit. The food and drink are all well put together: fresh, well-plated, and delicious. My husband and I are randomly in Bakersfield and I landed on this restaurant simply because it was dog-friendly and walking distance from the Padre Hotel. Omg, it was amazing! My husband had the special - a pork dish. He said it was one of the best pork dishes he's ever had. I eat primarily vegan / vegetarian and ordered the crispy cauliflower. It was so good!!! A friendly knowledgeable server named Tim suggested I try the scallops as a starter. They were fantastic. I ended up ordering a bottle of Caymus a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon. My server also suggested I try the ribeye and I'm sure glad I did it was cooked to perfection and came with these wonderful potatoes on the side. I had a wonderful evening and plan on returning. Tim really knew his menu and made my first experience at this establishment a Memorable one.
