“I recently revisited and was wondering why I didn't come at least every month here. This place has one of the best cocktails and vibes, but I always appreciate the bartenders' level of service and especially huge shout out to Daniel.
Daniel took care of us with utmost care with a single goal of making me and and my friend happy. My friend had a pretty particular taste and Daniel listened in and went out of his way to make a delicious drink.
Definitely love talking to the other folks at the bar. Highly recommend who wants great drinks, kind/fun bartenders, and just a good time overall.

“Went here after a Dodgers game and it is such a cool bar. Security were friendly, the bartender Julian was great to talk too, and of course the cocktails were fantastic! I couldn’t believe they had a “Vesper”, as a massive Bond fan I had to have it and it was amazing. Followed with the old faithful Espresso Martini which was great too. Drinks are reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back here the next time I’m in LA!“

“My friend and I had an exquisite dining experience at Bar Sawa. Each course was prepared and presented to perfection. The place was a little tricky to find; there were no signs, and it was in the basement of a very unexpected building. You can also only get down there through the middle elevator! The instructions to get to the restaurant were emailed, but I didn't get to read it in time, so it was my fault. ? We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, ambiance and the entire experience. “Food, wine, service and vibes were exceptional! We made resys for a wine night and the outdoor seating was cozy, with a heated lamp keeping us warm. Our server was sweet and helped us sample some wines - we chose an orange wine and sparkling wine which both paired perfectly with the food.

For food, highly rec the mentaiko spaghetti, fries with yuzu aoili, chicken wings, and citrus salad! Dessert is a must - loveee the hojicha tres leches and black sesame rice krispy.

Portions are small, but perf for sharing with friends and wine selection is lovely.“

I actually thought this place was a liquor store in passing. Sally is a great bartender. Very personable and a joy to converse with. There's 3 pool tables and ample room for a crowd.“

“We recently found this place when i was looking for a place to karaoke. It is a tiny hole in the wall SUPER fun dive bar. The first time we went there was no open tables but a group of ladies let my husband and I sit at their table with them. The people there are super sweet. The bartenders are all super nice and its really just a fun low key atmosphere. ?“

Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. “Visited on a Thursday evening, very quiet with few staff on duty. Plating was beautiful and the food was mostly very good. Service was noticeably slow, ceviche arrived without chips (the kitchen noticed and brought them out though) and there was almost a 30 minute wait between the ceviche and the rest of the meal. The hangar steak, persimmon salad, and the ceviche were the standouts. Also the seasonal drink, it was delicious! I regretted ordering their sangria and the patatas bravas, very underwhelming. Ambiance is really warm and nice, but the bathrooms are all the way upstairs which is kind of a pain. I wonder if they are short staffed, either way, a lot of potential here.“

“Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“

You can order via a QR code and get a text when your food is ready. Drink menu is great! Bartenders are friendly.“

“Great spot with a ton going on - I love what they’ve done with the place since taking over junkyard dog. The food and ambiance are great, they even have a pool tables on the patio. The bartender Peter was knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 will definitely comeback for karaoke night! Thank you Peter and Drugstore Cowboy for a great place to grab a drink or play some pool!

“The lounge is conveniently located within Hilton San Gabriel. It was spacious and comfortable. The staff were inviting, friendly and extremely efficient. They took wonderful care of us. For lunch we ordered: clam chowder, Caesar salad, beef taquitos with guacamole dip and Parma ham and mozzarella flat bread. All the dishes were perfectly seasoned and delicious. My only two suggestions would be to serve crackers with the soup and maybe change the flatbread sauce to a marinara. I had an old fashioned with my meal which I really enjoyed. The drink was well balanced.The lounge is a non tipping restaurant. It’s odd I know, at least for me it is. The tip was already added to the final bill and we paid approximately 65+“
