“It's a BANGER!! Now and days with ridiculous prices for restaurants, I am taking my hard earned money to small business, mom and pop restaurants. The food is better and you get more bang for the buck then going to a large scale fast food restaurant. This place is amazing! Great food and great customer service and proportion size is equal to the dollar amount. The shawrama bowl was a huge highlight for me out of my 2-day binge at this place. I will be coming here again as a Mediterranean favorite when I am in the area.“

I did not give it 5 stars for "atmosphere" because if you park at the same time as someone else, and try to get in line to order, you will find yourself racing the other person just to get in line first. One is left with that bad experience and no desire to return if that person is going to continue serving me.“

Parking: The parking lot is small and since there are several businesses it is almost always full and there is no parking you have to look for the street.“

I did a burger tour around LA last month when I was in town. This place barely made my list of the 5 places I narrowed it down to, and boy am I glad it did. It was the best burger I had during the trip.

I don't know if it's something in the beef blend they're using or if it's just the combo of grilled onions, that sauce, and those beautiful smashed patties, but it managed to be so much more than the sum of its parts. Easily one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Bravo.

My wife had the reuben, which was also great. This is the burger I'd eat again if I went back to LA.“

My husband had the amboy burger. The server was amazing, explained to us perfectly how ordering from here works as we had never been here before. Great price for what you get. The yellow peppers and sauce are a great addition to their menu, the menu is quite large and can be overwhelming; however, stick to the specialties and you’ll never be let down. It’s family owned and they’re great people to talk to. I used to come here days at a time throughout the week and the taste never failed.Continue to be great food for the people guys! “The Service: Pick up or delivery. You can order using the kiosk next to the counter. Super easy to use. I was so pleased to meet with Chef Angel in person. So down to earth!

The Food: They know how to make a killer burgers! Everything is made to order using fresh ingredients. I love how they put so much grilled onions on the burgers. The beef patties are very flavorful. Their special sauce definitely make it taste even better.

My favorite is definitely the Jalapeno Smash Burger! If you like spicy, you got to try this burger. It's colorful and a great kick for sure.

They are very generous with the portion especially the pastrami burger, half a pound!

“I've been going there since as long as I can remember, I believe it was family owned , great food service, and fast ,then a few years ago the old man must have passed, but a few days later it was back opened , as good as ever, the same pretty friendly ,older woman was still there and as usual great food ,quick and friendly service,always busy , from when they opened till they closed. Just the other day I was there, and all new unfamiliar faces, service was good , food was good, but one thing stood out ,they always offered those little yellow chillies that were good but good ,for the first time they did not. As usual we sit at the bar.
We came in around 5pm.
This is all leading up to props to the bartender Becky.
She was hustling non stop, but still gave us great service.
Ordered some food and boom some fries showed up.
Ask her if these were ours and she "yes. I ordered you some while you wait for your order."
She would swoop in and refill our water without us having to ask.
Big shout out to Becky.

Now my wife always gets their peperoni pizza.
Its crazy they make one that is so good and looks like the picture on the menu.
The couple sitting next to saw how it looked and they ordered one too.

Longer than 30 years ago, I was working with local bands inSanDiego, and after wrapping everything up, we'd go to Albertos or Robertos, and I thought about this while I was eating. All locations are designed the same, same menu and omg... the hotel carrots are still awesome. Of course, today, the prices have increased, but the food was soooo worth it.
