“Decided to stop by here on the way to LA after a delicious ice cream treat. We ordered quesadillas and their tacos. The food was spot on and this is after us having some ice cream. The food is prepared outside on the parking lot in front of the store. I love their green sauce and they’re very generous with their cilantro and onions. The service was amazing as the young lady made great recommendations and she was very nice. The ambience is nice because you have a choice of sitting outside on a nice day or if it’s cold you have the choice to sit inside the marketplace.“

When you need a Shawarma, World Famous Grill is here to deliver. The Shawarma was great and I tried the Chicken and The beef because of a confusion, at the end I won... They were both delicious and different. I'm still trying to know how the baklava was. It melt in my mouth. Next time, I will try it slower, but with the amazing taste, I doubt it will be possible.“

“Everything on their menu is Halal. We ordered malai chicken, it tasted normal BBQ. I am sorry to say Malai taste was missing. The Chapli Smash burger was flat it felt like something was missing bun were so small. Dubai Paratha Burger was also small.

French Fries were average.

Recommend Malai Chicken can be improved and burgers should be larger size. The cost of what you are paying you expect larger quantity.“

“I was there in California from another state. We ordered jalapeños beef burgers, halwa puri platters, beef seekh kabobs with rice platter, masala fries, mango lassi and sweet lassi. Each and every single food item was fresh and hot, seekh kabobs were so juicy and perfect flavor, cholay were soft and with some light gravy to eat with puri. Aalo were soft yet some small size chunks in plate with light gravy, and halwa that you just don’t want to stop eating. My kids are very picky eaters but they loved each and every single thing we ordered from this restaurant. Beef burger was so yummy that my daughter kept ordering the next time we went there again. We ended up going 3 times in our 1 week trip. We tried their fried chicken the third day, oh my gosh it’s just one of the best fried chicken ever. We were so glad that we were able to find a halal restaurant with all the choices at one place for our kids and adults. Last but not the least, their prices were very reasonable and the staff was very nice and friendly.“

“I'm at a loss for words, but I'll try my best. Food? Amazing! Perfect amount of seasoning and the portions are huge! And this is coming from a big dude. For the appetizers, my favorites were the Kashk E'bademjan (Eggplant Delight), Potato Salad, and the Hummus! They have more selections, but this is what I was able to try. I hear all are great! For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. “Tucked away in a small corner of a shopping centre is a unique delicious halal Indonesian restaurant with cool artwork and pictures symbolic of Indonesia, this is my first time and the food was delicious, the Nasi Goreng rice had delicious chicken and a fried egg ontop of tasty rice and a spicy sambal condiment to compliment the dish with two chicken sate (satay) skewers drenched in special sauce. The lumpias were filling for an appetizer and all brought down with a refreshing and delicious cendol with its rich coconut sweet flavor. I recommend this restaurant if you want to try something new and explore the foods of Indonesia 🇮🇩“

“We had such a satisfying meal at Wayang Restaurant Halal. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and clearly made with care.

The nasi kuning komplit was beautifully presented, with fragrant turmeric rice and a mix of sides that balanced each other well, especially the egg and perkedel, which stood out.

The sambal mercon absolutely lives up to its name: pedas, rich, and addicting. It woke up the palate without overpowering anything and paired perfectly with the rice.

The satay kambing was tender and juicy, with a nice bit of char and a savory-sweet peanut sauce that brought everything together.

The ayam nasi goreng felt like comfort food at its best, well-seasoned chicken and fried rice that had that nostalgic, homestyle flavor.

“Visited the Manchester UK restaurant today. Did not like it at all!!! Had to wait 20mins for my order and when it came it looked disgusting. The slider I got was a real thin, tough piece of chicken which wasn't very tender and the batter was over done and tasted greasy which was no surprise as it dripped out when I got the carton out and had a hint of a beef taste. The fillet included was just the same but a little bigger but the fries were the saving grace! They were nice a fluffy but the chicken here is terrible and wouldn't visit again. The staff were great but the food was terrible and it didn't even taste like chicken! No wonder they have spice it's to disguise the taste! Anyone trying for the first time I'd recommend getting it with no spice to get what it actually tastes like! Rank and horrible! Will go elsewhere for better quality chicken.“

Father son combo team, the food is absolutely as authentic as it comes… we dined in, 3-4 tables seating 2-3ppl each… not a place to go for a nice dinner or vibes, but who needs that when the service, food and authenticity is off the charts?!? I gave them 5 stars all around because the full experience truly was a 10 out of 10!

It’s one of those unassuming places that SHOULD go viral!

LOTs of take out orders while we were there, and a few dine ins… even so, our food was served fast, and perfectly made. So many classic Persian dishes, and their ingredients are so very well sourced, they use Australian, grass fed lamb shanks and mine fell off the bone!

The ground beef kabob was served with a fluffy saffron basmati rice, a fresh and hot pita bread, side salad, raw onions, grilled tomato, peppers and some butter for the rice (exactly as it should be!) truly, an orchestra a flavors in your mouth! We had so much leftover, big portions! Make sure to order it juicy if you get the ground beef kabob.

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! They are large, creamy, flavorful and just AMAZEBALLS! We got the Tiramisu and it was NEXT LEVEL! Everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD and we can't recommend them enough!“

Knowing I wanted a beef or mutton entree, after much thought & deliberation, I went all in on Pak Halal's Beef Nihari.

Q) Rodney, how was the Beef Nihari?
A) Spiced tender beef, swimming in flavorful broth. I enjoyed the Beef Nihari. I prefer a solid amount of fat to meat, and the Beef Nihari had just what I was looking for. Ample portions, with enough to fill up on. Speaking of filling up, the ginormous Garlic Naan provided a lot of garlicky carbs, made all the more better when soaking up with the Beef Nihari broth

Q) How was the service, and what are the seating arrangements?
A) Rodney, the service was good. The wait wasn't unreasonable. Being a small deli, there is a table or two inside & outside. Pak Halal is more an order ahead, grab n' go eatery. The railing outside Pak Halal acts as a standing communal table, in which I used to dine on my meal.

Q) Rodney, would you recommend Pak Halal?
A) Absolutely, Rodney! The food was great at Pak Halal, and when I'm in a hurry and not looking for a sit-down restaurant experience, I know I can head over to Pak Halal and order something to go, or enjoy a quick meal on the railing, before life's troubles beckon me, elsewhere“

“After so many times of having gone to this shopping center for the other stores, I finally took a chance to come in, and I thought it was pretty good! Staff was friendly, they were really patient with me. Food came out in maybe ~7 minutes or so, so that's pretty standard. I thought it was pretty good! Was reading some of the reviews saying there's no flavor? I don't know, maybe I've become such an old man👴🏻 now, I thought it was good. Not over-the-top. Someone said they barely gave any cheese over the fries? My observation was that they meticulously layered the cheese, so that it wasn't just a giant slab on top with nothing on the bottom. I've never been to any other restaurant that goes through that level of detail to make sure the right amount of cheese is evenly distributed across the fries like that! BRAVO!👏🏻 Shoutout to the 1pm crew! You guys are awesome!

we ordered the swiss mushroom and crispy chicken burgers, both combo so it came with friends and we can grab our soda of choice from the fridge. the place was spacious, clean, and had a lot of tables. once our food was ready, the staff brought it to our table!

swiss mushroom burger - THIS WAS SO GOOD! their beef patty is super juicy and flavorful. i haven’t had a burger like this before that makes you keep wanting to eat it. their beef patty is really really good. everything is so balanced, not overwhelmed by the mushroom or onions and it complimented each flavors perfectly.

crispy chicken burger - the chicken was indeed really crispy and juicy on the inside. this burger tasted like a hearty meal, not too salty or bland, on the higher end than other chicken burgers i’ve tasted.

their fries were crispy and seasoned well! i recommend getting their SPICY GARLIC SAUCE to dip. it was house made and delicious.
