It was our first time visiting, and she truly made us feel welcomed by taking the time to greet us warmly and walk us through the menu with patience and care. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting and paired perfectly with the exceptional hospitality, creating a wonderful overall experience. We ordered the combo with a shrimp taco and a fish taco, served with rice and beans, and everything was absolutely delicious and well prepared. The agua de sandía was incredibly refreshing and full of flavor. From the food to the service, everything exceeded our expectations. I mean the pictures are proof but one stop will get you hooked! Like me, I live in whittier and everytime im in the area I HAVE to stop for my supreme topped slices.“

At first I thought the place was sketchy at first but most good places do lol Franchise chicken places hardly have any meat on their chicken and the grocery stores always make their chicken too salty. TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME HERE! Went here one day for a chicken plate and the pieces had plenty of meat, hardly greasy, lightly seasoned, and overall tasted like good ol home cooking 🤤. Just came here again to try their fish and shrimp and again, it was excellent. Most fish and shrimp places drown their fish in thick bread-like batter that makes you feel sick in a few bites. Here however, the fish and shrimp are fried in a seasoned thin peppery flour mix, basically a thin batter 🤤. I don't think I can go anywhere else for fried chicken and fish. JUST BE SURE TO AIR OUT THE FOOD TO LET IT COOL DOWN WHEN YOU GET IT!! YES! ITS THAT FRESH! AND THAT GOOD!“

“Don Chuy Mexican Restaurant is a great spot, especially if you’re craving Mexican food. So far, my favorite item has been the Loaded Nachos — and when I say loaded, I really mean it. The plate came stacked with tortilla chips, beans, rice, cheese, asada, chicken, and shrimp, making it filling and packed with flavor.

My brother and I come here when we grab lunch together. He knows Mexican food is one of my favorites, so this has become one of our go-to spots. It’s a nice mom-and-pop style restaurant with a welcoming feel.

The employees provide great customer service and are always helpful, which makes the experience even better. Overall, this is a solid place to eat, and I’ll definitely be coming back to try more items.“

“Well, we came here on a whim cuz it looked pretty inviting from the street. That's the best decision we made all week ... okay it's only Tuesday. Still, it was pretty wonderful from the chips and salsa in the beginning, throughout the meal.

Salsa was just a wee bit hot for me, sis loved it! Looked like salsa had chipotles, chips were warm, thin and crunchy.

I had chile verde with frijoles. Both were pretty freakin amazing. Verde was a little spicy, but maybe I'm just wussing out in my old age. Plus I had flour and corn tortillas cuz the waitress said corn were hand made! They were crazy good! Sis had shrimp tacos and frijoles. She knows tacos and said they were perfect.

Neither of us could get the nacho fries outta our heads. So we asked for a small order with carnitas. Freakin yum! I shoulda took a pic! We def took food home. Can't wait until tomorrow morning to have my leftover verde with eggs!! We're def coming back!!“

“The pizza here tastes really good to me. I don't know exactly what it is. Maybe the thin crust and grease. The staff is always friendly. Price isn't too bad. Large meat lovers is like 23 bucks but I was surprised how big a large pizza was when I first got one. I eat here regularly and would recommend a try. There's a lot of different styles of pizzas. “We came to Tacos Culiacan to celebrate my Comadre's belated birthday. It just happened to be on Viernes Santo. So I was excited to see if they had Cuaresma food.THEY DID!!!I ordered the Shrimp Patties topped with Nopales in Salsa Roja with a side of Beans & Rice with three Homemade Corn Tortillas.My Comadre got the Chiles Rellenos con Queso with Beans & Rice and the Tortillas.We also got a side of the Queso to add to the beans and the tacos. It added a yummy 'just like home' flavor.For dessert, we had the Capirotada, a Mexican-style bread pudding. We had the last of it, and it was more than enough to eat there and take home.The place is small and intimate. Our server was very friendly, and we were the last folks there. She gave us space to chat and visit while she mopped. It really reminded me of eating at home.“

“We had the hots for broiled chicken and it was very good, it wasn't dry, it didn't feel like the chicken had been sitting in shelf waiting for a customer to ask for chicken to have your chicken to be quickly served, the seasoning was very light while at the same time it was juicy, the one full chicken was served on a big plate served with French fries, a lettuce salad for $46 (maybe the two sparkling waters elevated the total price this high) the price itself is a downer for us not to go back. It was good, yet not a to die for finger licking type of full flavor chicken for that price.

The atmosphere was the best, we happened to arrive at a karaoke time, and since I lived in the Karaoke Capital of the world, which is Japan, I can tell you that this place is a gem when it comes to Karaoke for Spanish-speaking mature people that enjoy the 70's probably stretching all the way to the 90's romantic broken heart ballads and songs that have to do with, so if this is what you are into, you won't be disappointed, they have the best sound system and everyone was enjoying the good talented amateur singers.

They have good parking, the restrooms are clean, the staff was very cordial, amicable and with very good positive attitude, if you come to eat during Karaoke hours expect a very loud music that feels nice if the music described above is the type of music that stimulates tu corazoncito o lo que aún le queda de corazón destrozado, a mí, me encantó, quizá deba ser que mi corazón parece parrilla de asador de esos que se utilizan para asar a las brasas.“
