“Absolutely love Joanie's Cafe when I'm craving a good ole American style breakfast. I grew up with those meals and Joanie's reminds of those great times.
Eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, omelettes, Benedicts, pancakes, juices and coffee. You arrive hungry and leave satisfied because the portions are hefty. Doesn't break the bank either. Great service from a professional staff.
My favorite is to visit Joanie's on a Sunday and enjoy the Farmer's Market on California Ave right after.“

“I had to stop by Royal Donut Cafe because of all of the great reviews I saw on Yelp! And I must say that I wasn't disappointed at all! The staff was awesome! From the cashier, to the cooks, and the server. And I even got a chance to meet the owner, Terri, who has taken over the business for the past 15 years! Definitely going to be a regular here! “It was an early Saturday morning when I went to Eskina restaurant in Redwood City. I was seated right away and asked what I wanted to drink. I ordered tea and got it right away. The menu is very diverse and I couldn't make up my mind about which omelet I wanted. I decided on an old favorite...ham and cheese. I sipped my tea and placed my order with a very attentive waiter who knew the menu and told me what today's specials were. I didn't have to wait long before I was served a beautiful omelet that was worth waiting for. However, I didn't see as much cheese as I expected. That was a let down. Also I was asked multiple times if I wanted coffee which was very annoying. I do recommend Eskina for a delicious breakfast. Too bad I'm not a coffee drinker. They offer a beautiful cinnamon coffee. You will be pleasantly surprised if you decide to try this undiscovered local gem of a breakfast place. I enjoyed my breakfast which came with delicious potatoes and toast and all the fixins.“

We didn’t think we were at the right place because of all the fork lifts. Server was lovely. It’s not the best atmosphere for breakfast but the food was good.“
