“Michelle Exceeded Expectations for Wife’s Birthday PartyMy wife is hard to impress for her birthday. She doesn’t like expensive gifts, but does food-centered events and adventures with our friends. I initially considered finding a cooking class somewhere and invite some of our friends but all the options seemed like a hassle and a bit impersonal. I then read about a chef that would take the class to your home and I thought – perfect.When I contacted Michelle she listened to my objectives and we determined that a cooking demonstration centered on paella would be perfect. In fact, she said that she will make the event an evening in Spain. The challenge was going to be making this a surprise, but Michelle coordinated with all of us, and my wife was totally caught off guard. That soon turned to delight to learn that she had an evening with her friends and learning about how to make paella ahead of her. Exactly what I had hoped for.Michelle served great appetizers, and then presented a special ham and gave a talk about the region in Spain it came from and why it was unique. The yard was decorated with a huge LOVE sculpture, and every detail of the evening was well thought out.Dinner was for 11, and she managed to do the demonstration while coordinating all the activities needed for the approaching meal. Our guests loved the demonstration and Michelle talked about every aspect of the process. I certainly learned a lot.Dinner was fabulous. We had a garden salad, much of it from her garden. Then to the centerpiece, the paella. Everyone agreed it was delicious to say the least. Michelle made each guest comfortable, and everyone got personal attention as she juggled activities in the kitchen.As the evening came to an end, my wife kept repeating how pleased she was, and how she loved sharing this special evening with some of our closest friends. I could not be more pleased. After thanking her for such a wonderful experience, we went to bed while Michelle cleaned up. When we woke up the next morning everything was in order with some tasty leftovers in our refrigerator to savor over the next few days. Very cool.As I declared at the dinner, Michelle made my dreams come true for my wife that made my dreams come true. So Michelle, thank you so much for a wonderful experience my Terri and our guests will always remember, you absolutely exceeded my expectations.“

“Excellent local butcher shop and deli. BBQ sauce is also very good. The ball tip sandwich is the most popular sandwich on the menu. I would personally recommend the sweet potato fries because their sauce is delicious. The meat is always top notch. Kinders is very well known around here. The only downside I would say is that it is not cheap. It is hard to find a sandwich under $10 on the menu. Definitely worth trying if you are driving through!“

“This is a great Indian restaurant. I’m so happy we have a delicious Indian restaurant in our town. We’ve had Indian restaurants come and go but this one is the best. They have great butter chicken and the desserts are always perfect. My favorite is the garlic naan“

“I really enjoy a beautifully cooked piece of salmon, which is not easy to come by. Quite often when I order seafood out at a restaurant it is overcooked. I can guarantee when I go to Roxx on Main. My salmon is perfection. Moist tender and juicy like it should be. I do enjoy her menu, which is very versatile.“
“I wish I could give them a million stars!!!!! Havana Catering saved me after my first caterer canceled on me 12 days before my event. Havana was super responsive, made it very easy to order, day of delivery was amazingly professional, and the food..... OMG SOOOOOOOOO delicious!!!!!! Everyone at the party was raving about the food! Everything was absolutely incredible. I didn't get any good pictures of the food (just a plate full) but we had:
Tapas - corn & pea empanadas, ropa vieja empanadas
Salad - mango spinach
Entrees - chicken adobo & chimichurri steak
Sides - sofrito rice, black beans, and we added Cuban corn saute
At the end of the day I couldn't be more thankful that my original caterer canceled because Havana Catering is FANTASTIC! The service and the FOOD - both phenomenal!“

“Rafael's catered our baby shower and were absolutely fantastic! From the inquiry stages to the day of, Frankie was an excellent communicator and made the entire process clear and smooth. I did the International Menu for 50 guests with some modifications and received so many compliments from family about how delicious all the food was! Their team arrived on time to our venue to set up and when they returned for cleanup, they made it such a breeze. Will definitely be a returning client! Highly recommend“

“Taco Tuesday 🌮!!
Very good tacos. You really get snack tacos size. Don't underestimate the size, you will get full. I believe 6 would be plenty enough. You will definitely need a soda or drink to wash it down. Very satisfying. However, for $1 and snack tacos seems expensive. I suppose that's inflation as everybody puts it. Either way, very good and nice selections of other taco Tuesday selection.“

“Wow. This is a very unassuming restaurant and off a busy road so easy to miss. This is some of the most flavorful Mediterranean food I've had in a while. “This is a must in the city of Vallejo. The food is a staple of the greatness that comes out of Vallejo. The flavor of the bbq compliments the rub and Smokey flavor produced by Chef Drip’s G Stacks Smoker. The love that is poured into the preparation of my meal put a smile on my face as big as the Chef’s when he personally served my seafood plate with lobster tempura and an excellent macaroni and cheese. I also order the bbq plate with all the trimmings, yams, greens, and potato salad. Thank you for an amazing experience for my San Diego pallet. You are one of one.“
