“I recently discovered Joe’s Sushi while on the hunt to get something delicious during my lunch break. I order the “Joe’s Crazy” roll every time I stop by, it is my absolute favorite! The servers are always nice, it does get busy during the lunch rush so the wait gets a little long. Regardless I recommend this place to all sushi lovers.“

“So if the best sushi I've had outside of Los Angeles! Highly recommend if you want great food that is really fresh! Ordered the Tropicana roll and it had a perfect combo of sweet mango and cilantro on great tasting fish! The protein roll was spicy with jalapeños on top but was really fresh as well! “Interesting to find a shabu shabu place in the middle of the desert. The service was good, but could improve it bit. After we ordered, for the next 29-25 minutes no one stopped by and ask if we needed anything. The food, for the most part, was decent. The quality of the beef itself was slightly disappointing. We ordered both the regular and the premium, and both were just okay. We also had the octopus tapa and the sea bass tapa. They were pretty good, but the eggplant that came with the sea bass was well prepared and its texture was very good. We also had a few hot sake. They were excellent as well“

“The only place I go for sushi in the Coachella Valley! Everyone I talk to loves this place too. One of my favorites is the citrus roll, but there are so many excellent choices. I highly recommend going for lunch, as they're much busier for dinner. It's always been pretty quiet at lunch time. Sometimes the service is a little slow when they're packed, but the food is worth the wait. The staff has always been wonderful. My only complaint would be the flickering lights above all the tables, which seems to be an ongoing issue, possibly out of their control.“

“I was in the area for our rental property and had to stop by The Home Depot. I randomly found this restaurant on yelp and gave it a shot. Service: 4.5/5 some staffs are friendly but some are just a-ok. All staffs are super focus on their job and super organized I think. They were people consistently coming inside the restaurant while tables were cleaned from the previous diners. We got seated right away along with most of the other diners. Food: 4/5 a lot of choices, many a little too many?! I see that their rolls are gigantic! Never seen rolls that big in my life. I think 1 roll is enough for maybe 2 people. Rice is a little too hard for my preference. Parking: 5/5 came on Saturday night and plenty of parking in the shopping plaza. Ambience: 4.5/5 Yelp says it's energetic space but it's very dim inside and very quiet inside despite them being busy. It's great for date night. Maybe during the day, it's more lively?! I might give another shot as it was a decent meal for this area....“

“Excellent quality sushi in a tiny little spot. The service was great, as 3 of us ordered multiple items and everything came out as expected, without the server writing anything down! They have so many different rolls to choose from and all were delicious. This is truly good value with high quality. I'm so glad to have found my new go-to sushi restaurant.“

“Okay this place was incredible. It was super unassuming by its looks but ended up being one of our favorite meals of our trip! We started with the enoki (very umami, savory but sour flavor so good), the chicken teriyaki (very good), the tuna nigiri(melt in your mouth), the signature tuna took (also melt in your mouth incredible) and the star of the show the black snapper nigiri. Absolutely order if that’s in the menu, I’ve never had anything like it!! Hot sake was good to accompany the food. Wasabi was excellent as was the ginger. We will absolutely be back!!“

“My daughter's first time having sushi and she loved it. She loved the Udon noddles as well. Every bite was delicious for her and mine as well. The waitress was a very gentle woman who helped me work around my allergies of shell fish. It wasn't as busy as I expected at 7pm on a Saturday, but the dining area was immaculate and the dishes were taken immediately after we finished our meals and side meals. The presentation of the meal was wonderful as well, for the people who find presentation part of their appetite.“

“Great service. We dined here as a family as guests of the JW Marriott. The location was fun for our little kids who explored the gardens and enjoyed the lights after dark. The staff was friendly and more than accommodating when I asked them to find something that accidentally got thrown away (due to my mistake). The chef at our table was full of jokes and kept us entertained. The food portions were big!Nothing over the top about the food, classic teppanyaki but lots of fun, entertainment, and friendly and helpful staff.“

“I was thinking this was a sit down sushi place. Well, nooo.... It's an order at the counter and grab a table. The sushi was on par with this style. It's a room with tables, that's it... The people behind the counter felt like they might own the place, and were very nice. I had a beer with my food, which was nice. The bento box was very good. I might have not stayed, but the people really felt nice and interested in providing a good experience. Still, sushi and this style don't vibe well for me. Maybe if there was any Japanese sushi style anything? Maybe offer table service? For a quick stop and grab a bit, without doing a fast food spot, this is a good place. For a sushi spot, it's not. Do a bento box.“

“Fast service, you order your food at the front counter. Sushi' is very delicious, and fresh. Can't beat the price! Nowadays fish are very expensive, this place is a local family owned, and I LOVE supporting local businesses. They have plenty of sushi menu options, as well as different type of hibachi, and lots of appetizers (edamame, gyoza, shrimp tempura, etc). I also got a cold glass of Sapporo. :)“

“Reservations paired our group of four with a couple celebrating a birthday. There were a couple of other empty seats at our table. The soup and salad were flavorful. Soup nice and hot. Salad fresh. Good start. Our chef was entertaining and did the usual tricks, onion volcano, flipping food into the guests mouths. He was fun and all of our food was good. I chose shrimp and chicken. The others in our group wanted filet and chicken which was not an option on the menu but they accommodated without issue. We had more than enough food and took some home for lunch the next day. Staff was efficient and accommodating. Nice stop.“

“manager or owner is so beyond rude!!! however her staff was amazing and on point food here is great just ignore the rude, bitter, greedy manager she treated and belittled her amazing workers. i felt so bad. nonetheless food is great manager just needs to learn how to treat staff properly asap!!!!!“

“Dragon Sushi is next to Dragon Cafe, only separated by a spacious outdoor patio with plenty of seating for both establishments. The decor and color palate throughout the restaurant is quite appealing, warm and welcoming. The restaurant has a feng shui flow about it. The booths, big enough for six, are quite private with high walls between them. We were quickly seated by the hostess and Angelica, our server, was quick to arrive full of smiles and asked to start a drink order. Plum wine and raspberry lemon drop were at the top of our list. The plum wine offered a refreshingly sweet, almost juice-like, experience. I had a second glass without hesitation and definitely enjoying the affects. The raspberry lemon drop provided a chilled, sweet and sour martini. For dinner we were served the chicken teriyaki bowl that came with miso soup and side salad with just the right amount of dressing that didn't drown the lettuce and shredded carrots. Perfect!Our other dish was the Passion Roll that brought the tastebuds to a tap dance over a menagerie of mango, tuna, cream cheese, crab meat, shrimp tempura, Serrano pepper and rice with a sauce that topped it off. Dessert anyone? Offered, thanks Angelica, but not at this table. Dinner offered plenty to fill us. The whole ride home I kept saying, "I ate too much."I'm so happy to report that the table was cleared as we finished our meal. Angelica was on it as quickly as she could be given she had other tables and was back and forth to the bar making cocktails for her tables. She checked on us a couple times during our meal to ensure we happy and if she could get us anything. Overall, fantastic experience: aesthetics, customer service, cocktails, food and cleanliness. We had the ko ko roll - not recommended unless you like sweet and sour sauce- and the Venue roll which was just fine. Albacore roll and spicy tuna tostado were the best items we tried!
