“I already posted a review for this location, but this place is worth the price. I ordered the spicy miso Ramen with tofu and takoyaki on the side. The Ramen wad very flavorful and coated everything placed in the bowl. It wasnt too heavy of a broth and the oil in it wasnt too much to the point of feeling ill. The tofu and egg also had its own flavor, having a lot to say despite just being toppings. The takoyaki octopus inside had a nice snap and overall was very good. A lot of noodles!!“

“I got the Steak and Shrimp bowl with brown rice and veggies…it was really good and flavorful but I wasn’t pleased that the shrimp wasn’t cleaned…the mud vein clearly visible on the 5 shrimp in the bowl…I picked the shrimp out and ate the steak…paid $12 for a bowl been nice if the shrimp were cleaned…won’t stop me from eating there again, I just won’t order any shrimp.“

“This place is a true neighborhood gem! It's the kind of hole-in-the-wall you hope to stumble on and then want to keep the place a secret all to yourself. The sushi was outstanding, clearly made with care and skill. Every piece full of flavor.
The staff made the meal even better. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely polite without ever feeling stiff or overly formal. The kind of service that makes you feel like a regular on your first visit.
The atmosphere is a little rough around the edges, as it won't win any design awards, but there's a well-worn, lived-in charm to it that fits the vibe of the food. It's clear this is a place run with love, even if the decor hasn't caught up to the cooking.
If you're after Instagram-perfect ambiance, this might not be it. If you're after excellent sushi and people who genuinely care about serving you well, this is a must-try.“

48), all of which had 8 pieces and came out within 10-15 minutes! the prices are insanely good for the quality of food you receive! the hostess was the kindest older lady and helped us choose our rolls! she also told us that they make all the sauces, wasabi, and majority of the ingredients theirselves! i highly recommend you visit this spot!!“

“The place is clean, and the staff and owner are incredibly friendly. We ordered two chicken teriyaki plates and the fried Oreos, and everything was amazing. The chicken teriyaki honestly reminded me of home in Seattle. It was juicy and tasty. We recently moved to the area from LA, and this is by far the best teriyaki spot we’ve found so far. This place definitely just gained three loyal customers. 10/10!“

“I didnt have any expectation when I came in, just finish up the gym and was just super hungry!
Surprisingly, the sushi quality are way better than I expected. The portions are way generous! For $12 dollar fried baby octopus they give like 8 pieces, for the salmon skin salad, i thought I would see this small bowl but it’s actually so huge that I can be full just by eating alone. And of course the main sashimi bowl, with gorgeous display~ Look at the picture and you’ll see!! Happy happy stomach!

“Found this gem when I fist moved here in march! Reasonable prices and quality of fish is good. I always sit at the sushi bar and the sushi chefs are always so nice and on top of it. Cajun salmon is delicious! Definitely recommend“

“Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. Like other reviews have said the line does get long around 12-1 pm so I have always gone around 11am or 2pm+. Depends on your schedule obv. Thank you to all the student workers!“

“I haven’t had Saku Ramen in over 2 years and I’ve been craving the dip broth sooo bad, well I finally came in today and was a little disappointed to find out they no longer serve the dip broth!
PLEASE BRING IT BACKKK!!!
Needless to say I had the spicy miso brother and it was still oh so very delicious. 😋 I can say with confidence that Saku Ramen has some of the best ramen I’ve had in the IE.

“A classic sushi/Japanese experience. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely fresh and amazing. I enjoyed the vibe here, the interior has a traditional Japanese feel and the tiny pop culture additions makes it feel homey. (The ken figure and the curtains) I ordered the combo miso soup with 3 hand rolls. 3 HAND ROLLS. each was fantastic. I'm geeking out cause you just don't see that in most places.“
