“God Dang!!!! This Ramen is legit! Lived 5 years in Japan teaching English. (Ibaraki-ken/Tokai-mura) I can tell you this ramen is on par. Please come and support this place. I see a lot of sushi spots steering away from keeping ramen on their menus. On a cold day there is nothing better! Oh and that pork cutlet steals the show. Perfectly cooked! Check out the pics and look at that charr. That takes skill.“

This entire paradigm of despair is wiped clean from my consciousness the MOMENT I stumble out of the hotel next door and into the warm, glorious embrace of Saku Ramen.

I ordered the fried rice, entirely unaware that it was forged by the hands of culinary deities. It is, without exaggeration, to die for. I found myself involuntarily moaning louder and louder with every single bite, a symphony of savory bliss cutting through the otherwise silent night.

“Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. Like other reviews have said the line does get long around 12-1 pm so I have always gone around 11am or 2pm+. Depends on your schedule obv. Thank you to all the student workers!“

“Best sushi place in the surrounding area. We moved to corona in 2020 and have always missed our favorite spot back home. This is by far our new favorite spot. Tons of options, quick service, and the atmosphere is lively every time we are here. Price is fair for the quality of food you get, don't expect to stay within your budget.“
