Definitely worth a try especially since it's extremely difficult to find a good quality Japanese cusine out in San Bernandino area. The owners were great! Will be frequenting here often.“

Delicious food with beautiful presentation. Good mix of options for a variety of diets and tastes, including more fancy (and expensive) items if you want a nice date night, or simpler fare for economical prices. Staff are friendly and attentive without being overly intrusive. Lots of cool tchotchkes and funny art to enjoy while you wait for your food to be made fresh. My husband and I love it here!“

“Allen is the man. This place is like eating at home but like they make sushi and stuff. Food speaks for itself and is legit. Best sushi place for miles. Small intimate place easily becomes your go to spot to eat. Very friendly and just like a barbershop open to conversations that end up taking over the place with laughs. Get to know the chefs and they'll become family and take care of you like no other. If I could give more stars I would. “Pass this place a few times and decided to give it a try

Japanese cheesecakes was light and fluffy more like Angel food cake. Not too sweet. Very moist since Japanese cheesecake is cooked by steam. Cashier was friendly and courteous. She explained the different treats. Too bad they don't sell coffee with the cakes.

American cheesecakes are dense creamy, sweet, butter and baked.“

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

They have ramen, sushi, teriyaki bowls, etc. Got the Crunchy Dragon Roll and also tried the Fried Shrimp Spring Roll, which were great. Going back to try other delicious menu items. Love the atmosphere and the customer service was superb! They were friendly and welcoming. Great location too. Definitely recommend this place in Downtown Ontario!“

“All time oldie but goodie! Excellent service, food, and atmosphere. Had lunch with the queen and princes today. Ordered up two chicken soba and, one shrimp soba. Two sides of shrimp tempura and one side of edamame. All was prepared and served quickly. Plenty of soba for leftovers. Price was reasonable and waitress was nice and attentive.

“Sashimi salad was good. Decent rolls, got the caterpillar roll, red pearl, and the Sara (my fave). Negori sake was good. Salmon collar was good and plentiful, but they ran out of the yellowtail collar, which is what we originally wanted. A lot of people around us got the ramen“

“The restaurant is very nice and clean, no background music. They have outside seating which is nice. I love poke and can literally eat poke every day if I could. This was my first visit here since it’s close to home and I wanted to give it a try… The proteins are fresh and the sides were good but the bowl was a little too dry for my personal taste. I would also recommend skipping the spinach I feel like it had a bitter taste. I feel like this is a very nice restaurant but highly encourage more flavor sauces also hot Cheetos(crumbs) as a topping would be nice.

Good flavor and spice without being to over powering. Since it was our first time there they gave us some free soup appetizers. Those were good as well. We went to have the all you can eat sushi, not the grill, where the chef cooks in front of you. We ordered a good number of different sushi items. What can I say it was OK. Nothing grand or spectacular. It was good. Nice portions. 7/10. It tasted like any other basic all you can eat sushi place. Our waitress was nice. I was floating on giving this place a 3 star. The reason for debating on giving it 3 stars was .... bugs. There were quite a few of them flying little bugs lingering around. Not flies. Just these little bugs we kept swishing away. it wasn't a lot of them. it was like 3. Made the dinner somewhat annoying. Then they were gone. The price was expensive for all you can eat. For 2 people, you are looking at spending $110. (We had sodas for our drinks. Beer and spirits will obviously cost more)This included tip. We probably may not come back. There are better options nearby that are more price friendly and have the same taste. The only plus about this place that is better than other places is its hours. They close at 10. But the last call for sushi is at about 9:40.

My daughter is selective with food and she loved the miso soup, fried rice, New York steak, scallops and shrimp. I am so glad we came to have dinner here. The young ladies are very nice and attentive.

“The take-out box was convenient, if not finished in restaurant. The beef and chicken were great with the provided salad dressing, rather than the teriyaki sauce. It was placed as side as suggested by the host, especially that I was a diabetic. The water was refilled as needed, which was appreciated. I also asked for a second bowl of miso, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was great to have a meal at the Bento Box in Chino.“

The plating Is fresh and unique compared to local sushi spots. We got vegetables tempura and edemame for appetizer and it was all delicious fresh warm crispy. For Main course we got the deluxe combination and it was amazing so fresh and delicious. This will my forever spot! Can't wait to come back!

A true bang for your buck, this culinary adventure begins with a choice of 2 appetizers, your preferred broth, followed by 3 choices of meat. The meats range from Angus beef, beef briskets, pork belly, and much more. When you finish your meat, you order another round of 3 choices, and so on. The buffet bar is overflowing with all kinds of veggies, shrimp, crawfish, clams, all kinds of ramen, etc. You fill up your plate with what you want to cook in your broth; it adds so much flavor! The soup, after you’re done cooking the meat is absolutely delicious. The staff is friendly and constantly refilling and cleaning the buffet bar. Ichikawa’s all-you-can-eat shabu is amazing and worth every penny. It’s still my son’s go-to place when he’s home from college.“

“DO NOT JUDGE THIS BOOK BY ITS COVER. I'm going to be honest , we walked in, saw it was empty, and the furniture and lighting look older so we totally judged and we almost walked out. Now I see the money is spent on the fish, it's quality fish for sure. This restaurant apparently has been here for 17. Absolutely delicious and fresh. The slices are thick and just heaven. We drive 35 minutes with decent traffic to come eat here. I am soooo happy we found this place. This is our go to sushi spot. The staff is sooo friendly and the chef is a pro. I can't say enough nice things about this restaurant. Chef is always so sweet to our son when we come in and he is always so gracious and grateful for our drive to eat at his place. I had the One Night Stand it's always delicious. The edamame is fire too. Never disappoints.
