I have been ordering out ever since the new housing community was built and recently catered a small wedding with them and I cannot praise their food enough. I find that their prices and freshness are even better than places closer to the beach. The servers recognize all their locals, the sushi/rolls are genuinely delicious, and the service is fast. Their weekday deals are also incredibly fairly priced and I’m always surprised how reasonable the bill is. If you’re looking for an authentic Japanese dining experience in Chino Hills, Kiku Sushi is it. From the moment you walk in, the ambiance transports you — the traditional banners, warm lighting, and J-pop playing in the background set the perfect mood.
The service was wonderful. Our waiters were so sweet and attentive, always checking in without being overbearing. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about the experience.
Now the food — where do I even start? Everything was absolutely incredible. The fish on the nigiri was unbelievably fresh, like caught-that-morning fresh. You could taste the quality in every single piece. The Cucumber Fantasy roll was hands-down my favorite — light, refreshing, and perfectly put together. We also had the garlic edamame, a rainbow roll, and some beautiful sashimi-topped rolls, and there wasn’t a single miss on the table. We also paired everything with a Sapporo and a Terra beer, which hit perfectly with the meal.
We left absolutely stuffed and completely satisfied. Kiku Sushi is now a go-to spot for us. “My husband and I first came here in December 2025. Our dog was having dental surgery in the same plaza and while we were waiting , we walked here to have dinner. The interior is basic and they do have indoor seating. We were really impressed. We tried both the beef and chicken and ordered a crunch roll to share.

Fast forward to today, we've eaten here 3-4 times now and every time has been excellent. My husband has been here one more time than me lol.

The combo comes with soup and either a California roll or spicy tuna. Great to support a small family business.“

“They have a fun Naruto theme with some Dragonball Z mixed in. They have a huge screen that spans length of the sushi bar with theme images appearing.

The service is friendly, attentive for drink refills, and helpful with all other needs.

The chashu in the ramen was delicious. The broth was pretty good, but some of the toppings could have been prepared better. Nevertheless, it was tasty. I also tried a hand roll that was yummy. The fried chicken was pretty good, but it needs a better dipping sauce to accompany it.

If you want to have a good laugh, tell your friends to try and order miso soup with their bowl of ramen.“

“Wow this place surprised me so much, I went on my birthday it was a Thursday mid day and it was lonely. Not sure if that’s good or not but as we walked in, we were greeted and welcomed to a nice beautiful atmosphere.

Open concept, nice design. We were serviced beautifully everything was clean and squeaky clean floors.

Menu was okay to read, but we were able to order a few yummy rolls.

Wow the my favorite was the Vegas roll the combo with the crispy outer layer and the fresh fish on top with avocado with sauce oof it was delicious a must order option!
Everything was delicious and what made the difference was freshness.

I would definitely come here again or order out, but it seems a lot of people order out. Dining in was a great experience and more need to come and experience everything as well at least when they can.

Parking was a bit difficult, one level and easy wheelchair access.

“The take-out box was convenient, if not finished in restaurant. The beef and chicken were great with the provided salad dressing, rather than the teriyaki sauce. It was placed as side as suggested by the host, especially that I was a diabetic. The water was refilled as needed, which was appreciated. I also asked for a second bowl of miso, which I enjoyed. Overall, it was great to have a meal at the Bento Box in Chino.“

“I recently tried Bengee Sushi and was honestly impressed by both the presentation and freshness of the food. The sashimi set came beautifully arranged in a wooden box with a great variety of seafood. The atmosphere was casual but clean and modern, making it a nice spot for both a relaxed dinner and a small gathering with friends. “Stopped by with a party of 13 for late lunch on our way home from the mountains. The Tonkatsu ramen is quite good with a creamy broth. The noodles are good, the pork belly is a bit bland and dry. The yellowtail collar is over cooked and dry. The Sashimi salad is average.“
