“First, the good: the pita bread is excellent! Soft, fluffy, and up to the task of holding the variety of condiments that come on the pita by default. The sauces, particularly the fenugreek amba and the sḥuq, are welcome additions. They really load the chicken on the pita, and all the other pickled toppings are nice. The problem is, when you strip all these toppings away, the chicken itself doesn’t really have much flavor. It’s savory, and that is pretty much it. Overall the taste is pretty good, but a bit flat. It satiated me, but it didn’t delight me. Dare I say it kind of matches the expectation set by its Beverly Hills strip mall rustic chic ambience. The baguettes look great, but I don’t know how motivated I will be to try it again at the incredible price. Food reviewed: chicken shawarma pita“

“If you’re looking for a place that truly transports you, Beverly Hills Thai Kosher is it. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here and walked out not just full, but completely in love with the entire experience.
We’ve been here many times, and every dish continues to impress. This time we had the Pad Thai Sidewalk, Pad Kee Mao, Pad See Ew, egg rolls, and the seasonal mango sticky rice dessert. Every single bite was bursting with flavor.
The noodles are fresh and made to order, silky with the perfect bite. The beef is premium, tender, and seared to perfection. That mix of savory, sweet, spicy, and umami hits every corner of your palate. The egg rolls are crispy and golden and that mango dessert was the perfect finish, cool and creamy with sticky rice that melts in your mouth.
The vibe is romantic, relaxed, and welcoming. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and down to earth, and the kitchen is run by a husband and wife from Thailand who clearly cook with heart. This place didn’t just make our anniversary amazing. It made it unforgettable.“

“Decent food. Definitely a solid choice for vegetarian food.
We ordered a variety of dishes like pad Thai with soy tofu and soy chicken, Thai green and Thai red curry. Serving sizes were adequate, they gave us good portion sizes.
The Pad Thai was tasty and served with generous portion of vegetables, however it also came with a portion of rice that we had no idea what to eat with, not to mention the rice was slightly undercooked. The same rice and vegetables serving was also given with the green and red curries, which tasted great but could’ve tased better with the cooked rice.
The pineapple fried rice with soy chicken was excellent, it was my first time trying the dish.
I would recommend this place to anybody who want to try vegan Thai food.“

“I just ordered for the first time today and I must say your food is fantastic! Generous portion with pickles and delicious soft boiled eggs, pickles, puréed fresh tomatoes and a small amount of hot sauce that isn’t too hot. Just right. Went to your place near corner of Van Nuys and Burbank. HIGHLY RECCOMENDED“

“I had a 9:30 PM reservation and asked host to sit at the bar, even though there were 4 empty stools and we were only 2 people. We were refused and ended up waiting over an 1 hour & 10mins to be seated. During the wait, we had to stand and eat half of our meal, which was very uncomfortable. Overall, a frustrating and poorly MANAGED experience.“

“Taam Shabbos
Erev Shabbos, a farmer bursts into the Rebbe’s kitchen — soup boiling, cholent bubbling, kugel steaming.
“Rebbe! A hundred chickens died on my farm this week!”
The Rebbe nods. “Nu… give me ten rubles.”
The farmer hands him the money.
“Take this kugel,” says the Rebbe.
“What for?”
“It’s taam Shabbos — a segulah.”
Next week — same panic, same smell of Shabbos in the air.
“Rebbe! Another hundred chickens died!”
“Ten rubles,” says the Rebbe.
He gives him kishka.
“What’s this?”
“Taam Shabbos. A segulah.”
Week after week — kugel, kishka, chopped liver — until finally the farmer trudges in, shoulders slumped.
“Rebbe… I have no more chickens.”
The Rebbe sighs. “Oy, what a shame.”
He glances toward the kitchen.
“I still have more taam shabbos.”
The farmer blinks.
“For me? Rebbe, I was feeding the taam shabbos to my chickens.”“

“Schwartz Catering did a magnificent job at our son's bar mitzvah weekend. The food and desserts at the synagogue kiddish, at our Shabbat family/friends lunch, and at the bar mitzvah party itself were beyond delicious. The service was first-rate and Moshe Hecht did a phenomenal and thorough job of running all 3 events. We had to worry about nothing and Moshe and his staff took care of everything with superlative service. This is the 3rd time in 5 years that we've used Schwartz Catering for a major event (200+ people) and it gets better and better each time. At the highest level, we recommend Schwartz Catering for your simcha or special event.“

“It's a non-romantic place to eat...it's great for families! The service is excellent! They didn't charge extra for gluten-free bread, and even when I asked for extra, they brought it to us for free. I recommend the place
Parking: Parking in the back
Kid-friendliness: Suitable for children, there are cheaper children's meals
And also indulged in a wave of lack of understanding about other things“

“Exceptional Seafood and Service at Fish in the Village Market
Dining at Fish in the Village Market was a standout experience—one marked by impeccable service, outstanding seafood, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. Their hospitality was thoughtful and attentive —a perfect balance that elevated the entire experience.
The seafood was truly exceptional. Every dish we tried was fresh, expertly prepared, and bursting with flavor. Whether grilled, seared, or delicately seasoned, the quality of ingredients and culinary skill were unmistakable.
The setting, nestled in the heart of the Village Market, adds to the charm. Casual yet refined, it’s a place where both locals and visitors can enjoy a memorable meal in a relaxed environment.
Fish in the Village Market is a gem for anyone seeking high-quality seafood and sincere, professional service. Highly recommended.“

“I ordered food by them many times for a large group, as well ate there several times, and I haven't found in LA any Kosher place with this type of cuisine, that every dish was so tasty and perfect, I think the Shnitzel and chicken soup were especially amazing.“

“I went to Geshmak last week on a Thursday. It was a great ambiance to be in plus they had their Shabbos Takeout Menu available (yes, they had cholent). The food was spectacular and the service was even better! I very much appreciated the kid's menu, although very simple, my kids ate it all and that's always the hard part. The dine-in kid's menu has a coloring sheet so the kids were entertained the whole time! 10/10 would come back again.“

“10/10 most authentic Mexican food I’ve had in Pico Robertson in the last 9 years of living here. Food is fresh, well cooked and well seasoned, ordering is easy, food comes quick, portions are large, chips and salsa bar while you wait. Atmosphere is what you would expect from a hole in the wall authentic Mexican joint, music playing, round tables with comfy patio furniture, heaters, etc. a bit tucked away upstairs in a shopping mall makes it that much more of a find, will for sure be back or possibly order catering for my next event! (Food pictured is barbacoa tacos and pozole chicken soup)“

“If you're looking for a fancy atmosphere, this isn't the place. It's a very simple spot with no real design or style to speak of.
As for the food, the pizza was okay—nothing more, nothing less. I’ve definitely had better pizzas, but it gets the job done if you're looking for a quick kosher bite. It’s a functional place to grab a slice when you're in the area, but don't expect a gourmet experience.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Amazing kosher pizza spot in LA! The food is always hot, fresh, and full of flavor. The slices are generous, and the crust is perfect — crispy on the outside and soft inside. Staff are super nice and quick with service. A great place to grab a bite, whether you’re local or just visiting!“

“Wow! Really good pizza! I love a classic pepperoni pizza so I was worried when I realized it was a vegan place with very mature toppings, but it was SO GOOD, such a good flavor and combinations. Plus it didnt make me feel heavy and gross afterwards like regular greasy pizza does. My friend got the individual size Pesto Pizza, and I got the Truffle pizza. Both were so good, definitely will go back!! Bonus is they offered the sauces like ranch for free, which in this day & age is rare of any restaurant to do so. AND THE RANCH WHOA, THICKIEST RANCH EVERR. I would trust my life to those workers. So delicious. 10/10 try this place out“
