“First, the good: the pita bread is excellent! Soft, fluffy, and up to the task of holding the variety of condiments that come on the pita by default. The sauces, particularly the fenugreek amba and the sḥuq, are welcome additions. They really load the chicken on the pita, and all the other pickled toppings are nice. The problem is, when you strip all these toppings away, the chicken itself doesn’t really have much flavor. It’s savory, and that is pretty much it. Overall the taste is pretty good, but a bit flat. It satiated me, but it didn’t delight me. Dare I say it kind of matches the expectation set by its Beverly Hills strip mall rustic chic ambience. “The little plates are yummy. I love the pita bread that came with the hummus (Salatim plate). The other plates were good also. I loved the bread pudding (I think it's better than the best cake). What I like the most about Bacari, besides the beautiful ambiance, is the friendliest staff.“

As soon as we parked the smell of the outdoor grill hit us. We knew we were in for something special.

We were sat immediately with a reservation, and had the best service. Mike was our waiter and was everything you want in a server and more. He was present but not overly so, he knew his wines well, and was clearly very passionate about the food. He’s service absolutely made our night!

The food was the only thing that overshadowed Mike’s excellence, every bite was divine.

We shared the hummus toast, zucchini, Japanese, sweet potato, Shishito peppers. And for mains enjoyed a chicken skewer, lamb chops, and ribeye.

The lamb was seasoned and cooked perfectly, being my best bite of the night, but the chicken skewer won the hearts of the larger group.

We finished off with their chocolate cake which was perfectly gooey in the center.

There is so much more I would come back for. The atmosphere was just spectacular! Beautiful outdoor seating area, suitable for larger groups or small tables. Good music and great vibes.

All in all I’m just upset that I didn’t come try this place sooner. Definitely going to be a staple of mine moving forward.

“If you’re reading this, here’s the short version: this is easily one of the best restaurants in Culver City, and you need to try it now!

It’s a small spot in downtown Culver City that you could walk past without noticing. I’m glad I didn’t. There are a couple of tables outside, but most of the seating is indoors. The space is modern, clean, and relaxing.

We ordered three dishes, all recommended by our waiter. The mussel toast is a must. Every bite is savory and packed with seafood flavor. For mains, we had the short rib and rainbow trout. The short rib was perfection. Cooked over fire and served with crispy potato strings. It’s something you get at high-end steakhouse but at half the price. The rainbow trout looked beautiful and tasted fresh, though the citrus was a bit stronger than I prefer.

For dessert, we couldn’t resist the churro and ice cream sandwich. The ice cream (another must try), sourced from a Persian maker, was rich with rose, honey, and pistachio. The presentation was just as impressive. The churros were decent, though I wished they were crispier and the dipping sauce was thicker.

Overall, I’d give this place a solid five stars. The food is close to Michelin quality without the Michelin prices. Go and you won’t be disappointed.“

The place is very clean, the food is fresh and tasty, but there's no mistaking it's a fast food kebab joint. The side salad on the plate was really nice, the saffron rice was kind of hard, and the chicken was a little dry. But the yogurt sauce definitely helps there. I also got a side of tabbouleh which was good if not great. There's a big parking lot that's part of the shopping center.“

For the Entrees, ALL OF THEIR KABOBS ARE FIRE (MMM MMMM YUMMY). I had a sample of most them and in the islands, we would say "broke da mouf kine", which translates to, the food is *beep beep* GOOD! If you've never had Persian Food, or you love it, this is the restaurant for you! Drinks? I love Korean Soju and Cass beer, so yeah, +10 points from me. They do carry various Wines and Beers though...and of course your choice of Soda Pop. Atmosphere? It' gives you a Kewl Kids Vibe; a classy place where you can be yourself with family and friends and just enjoy each others company. You have your choice of Indoor and Outdoor dinning which is amazing. There's also a private room upstairs that can hold 20 people for a meal and karaoke (there is a fee to reserve, but very much worth it). Staff? We were greeted at the door as if we were coming home. Pasha and his staff go above and beyond to make sure all your needs are met. Their suggestions on meal and drink pairings are spot on. I can't thank Pasha and the crew for making our group outing a success. Overall? I'll be going back and I hope that you add this restaurant to your list of 'go to' places to dine at. My wife had the chicken kabob plate and I had the beef plate. They were very tasty. Even the rice was very flavorful. My favorite was the beef shish kabob. It was tender with really good flavor.
