“Mikel’s Donuts 🍩 & Subs is a great place for amazing sandwiches at a fair price. I am not from the area but try to stop in and get a sub combo whenever I am in the area. I have been coming to Mikel’s Donuts & Subs for nearly 26 years.“

“First time here, the coffee was exactly what I was looking for. Something sweet but also coffee. I also picked up a package of chamoy candy, I’ve never had it before but it’s pretty darn good. Might have to go back to try other flavors. Def recommend this place.“

“Having just found our purchase receipt from Bear and Konos, in my wallet today when reducing its contents...i was compelled to write this review.
My wife and I bought breakfast burritos and coffees. Our experience was that the service was very prompt, the food was brought to us within 3 minutes (I thought) which is so very important. The food was really good and clearly was made from fresh ingredients because we could taste that it was. My wife and I felt good from our experience and not unhealthy like we feel after McDonald's. We were quite surprised from the price also because quality food is not normally priced so consumer friendly.

My wife and I will be returning whenever we are in the area.

The only thing that could be better is if they had a location near our home and the colleges in Claremont.

“Stopped in for breakfast while on a road trip. This diner was an unexpected treat! Our group had the steak & eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle combo, and pancake combo. The steak stole the show! We asked for it to be cooked medium rare and they nailed it. It was well seasoned too! The waffle and pancakes were yummy as was the bacon and eggs that came with them. The service was great! Our waitress was very kind and accommodating! On our next road trip, we will definitely be back!“

“I didn't expect for the hot chocolate to be decorated with cream, but honestly it was delicious. Also, you can buy your dog a special coffee made for dogs and a little dog treat (dogs are accepted!) The best part is that the cafe is Christian and they put on a bunch of Christian songs!!!“

“Let's talk about the layout outside. It has nice decorations. Then when you walk in there are more valuable art from El Salvador 🇸🇻. The menu is very easy to read and understand. I had questions about the menu and they were all answered to perfection. The food was incredible. Payment will be in the form of cash or credit card. Additional parking is in the back if the front street is taken up. All employees had a friendly vibe. I would definitely come back here and try another option from the menu.“

“This was a very pleasant experience! I wanted to try a new little spot while I was waiting for the fish store to open. I tried my luck at another establishment in the area and had a very negative experience. Still, I was waiting for the fish store to open and I had just got out the gym so I was starving, I had to continue to search for something to eat. I found this little gem and I do not regret it. 1st off, the staff was incredibly polite and inviting. Not only was I greeted by the cashier at the front counter by the name of Olivia but I was also greeted by the chef in the back through the kitchen window (I was unable to get his name) Olivia was very helpful and she actually eased my attitude and forget about my experience at the establishment I had prior to finding this place. They had many options such as cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, salads, toast, coffee, and smoothies.

I ordered the club sandwich combo with a fountain drink. This establishment gives you the option of house made potato chips and pre packaged chips, I got the house made chips. This sandwich is so fresh and pretty big. I was expecting slices of deli meat but instead I was given a nice thick turkey fillet, possibly a turkey breast. The avocado was nice and green and not that brown color. The tomatoes and lettuce were nice and crisp. The bacon was crispy and pair exceptionally well with the turkey. The house made chips were really good too, a bit salty but it balanced well with the sandwich. My total came out to $20 but I’m not complaining because I can tell these are quality ingredients and I also got a combo so it makes sense (to me at least) . I also tipped about $4 and some change.

This place is a 10/10 hands down. You can tell they make everything with love and care. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area!“

“The true definition of a hidden gem in the rough. We had breakfast there this morning which was freshly made and delicious. The owner was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our food. The owner even makes an effort to speak Spanish to his Spanish clientel, which is major respect to me. “This is such a beautiful coffee and pastry cafe. The ambiance is lovely with some upholstered seated sections and decor. The cafe is always clean. Even though they get very busy, they have a lot of tables inside and outdoor seating. Bathrooms are very clean. The service is so friendly. Can't recommend enough!

“I love grabbing a coffee from this place! The workers are always nice and friendly when I go. My only true complaint has to do with the atmosphere. It's a good sized location, but there aren't any small tables or chairs for customers to sit down and have a nice chat while enjoying coffee together. However, I like all of the cool art, coffee mugs, shirts, socks, etc.“

It was delicious and the kids loved the donuts. Oh yeah I had the bacon maple doughnut also man oh man delicious!“
