“Me and my gf came here for coffee, and the coffee was great aswell as the desserts. As I was getting ready to leave I accidentally spilled my coffee and made a mess. Nick and Jose helped me without question, cleaned up my mess and even replaced my coffee that I was already halfway done with. Amazing customer service. Will Def come back and recommend.“

“This was a very quaint place. Nice inside, clean. Bathrooms were outside somewhere no bathrooms inside. The cortadito with milk came in a small cup and said there were four shots in it. It did not seem like there were four shots like they said, and it seemed like it was made with water instead of milk like they said, but it was good, it just wasn't strong.“

“Delicious food and drinks, but I wish they wouldn't put everything in single use plastic containers. A paper plate would be perfect for those eating on site. They also do not use your personal drink tumbler. I'd go more often if it wasn't so environmentally damaging.“

“Such a charming coffee shop with some of the most amazing pastries I’ve had in a long time. Everything looked beautiful in the display case and tasted even better — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care.
The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality you’re getting, which made the experience even sweeter. Perfect spot to relax with a coffee, catch up with a friend, or treat yourself to a quiet moment. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their delicious pastries!“

“THE BEST MEXICAN OMELETTE in the IE! Oh my word, I tried Madres' Chilango Omelette with red sauce and oof, it was destiny that I ate it. It's everything you'd imagine and more. Stuffed with red or green chilaquiles, layered over black beans with sour cream, sprinkled panela cheese, topped with red onion and topped with cilantro. Are you on board yet?

I also ordered the Chocolata Pancakes. Think chocolate pancakes garnished with strawberry slices, a scoop of chocolate ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup, and almonds. Ice cream for brunch was an edgy move and it worked! Lastly, I had a abuelita chocolate latte, yes, with THEE iconic chocolate. The latte was delicious, I was surprised I wasn't in a sugar crash afterwards.

Overall, I enjoyed the cafe. The neon lights, faux foliage, and Pokémon-esque music had a cute, whimsical feeling. My Mom and I sat near the neon signs at a booth/table. Seating was comfortable and the restaurant was halfway full. Everything was peaceful and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Our host, a guy from the Riverside location was AMAZING! On the other hand our waitress, was a little dismissive of me at the beginning, however she changed her tune by the end of the visit.

Note, parking is limited. This Madres location is found in an older shopping plaza with tight spaces and cramped parking slots. Additionally, most items on the menu are $15 or more. Plan accordingly :)“

“Mi Flor Mayor is one of the best coffee shops around.

Abuelita’s Mocha is my absolute favorite. It is rich, comforting, and unlike any mocha I have had elsewhere. Hermosa Oscuridad is a close second. It is bold, smooth, and perfectly balanced. Their syrups are made in house, which makes every drink unique and thoughtfully crafted.

The pastries are incredible and made fresh daily. Easily some of the best I have had from any coffee shop.

You can taste the quality and care in everything they serve. I cannot recommend this place enough.“

“My new to go fix! Went here with an open mind and left with a new perspective of how coffee should be made. They do it perfectly. The coffee is strong and smooth. And the service is excellent. Went here with my mom and ordered a Spanish latte and a “The Void.” If you need a strong pick me up, DEFINITELY would recommend this place before hitting up shoping or going to work. Overall, nice service, coffee, and atmosphere, would recommend.“

“all the pastries are very good i’ve tried alot from multiple locations. the deluxe strawberry cream cake is so good. im not a huge fan of cake but i loved this one. the cream was light and sweet. i also got the cookies and cream mouse. so good and not too chocolate-ey. the vietnamese coffee is pretty good. the strawberry matcha was good as well. their shelves have not been fully stocked the times i went in the morning and evening. there were multiple shelves that didn’t have their item on there. also some things are mixed around.“

“Yesterday I was looking for a place to enjoy a real cup of coffee, and I found this wonderful spot nearby on Google Maps. What I wanted most was to try Kunafa and I have to say, it was absolutely perfect!!!! The flavor was so balanced and delicious - a beautiful harmony of tastes that come together wonderfully. What I especially loved is that it wasn’t overly sweet, so you can truly savor the authentic flavor. It was simply incredible! I finished every last crumb!

I also tried a savory pastry - I can’t pronounce its name - but I chose the one with cheese and spinach. And wow, that was amazing too! The dough was thin and delicate, and the cheese had such a unique, rich taste. It’s not like the typical American cheese flavor you get on pizza; it reminded me a bit of suluguni, but I believe it’s made with a special cheese typical of this cuisine’s traditions.

I also want to point out how warm and welcoming this place is. I think I might have met the owners - it feels like a lovely family-run business. The inside is spotless, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I truly recommend visiting this place!

The only thing that wasn’t quite my personal taste was the coffee, it was a bit too bitter for me, but I think that’s exactly how it’s meant to be in Middle Eastern culture. So, while it wasn’t my favorite, I’m sure many people will love it.

And I have to give special thanks for one more thing. I really don’t like disposable cups, and I wanted to enjoy my dessert and coffee properly at the café. They kindly served my Knafeh and coffee in ceramic dishes - which I deeply appreciated. It made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and authentic.

At first, they served my coffee in a small cup, but then the gentleman noticed and offered to remake it in a larger one, saying that’s how it should be served. That small gesture really showed their customer care and attention to detail - I was very impressed.

So, I truly recommend coming here for great flavor, good vibes, and genuine hospitality. You’ll love it -guaranteed!“
