“I come here often because it’s the best and most convenient option nearby. The food and drinks are consistently good, which I really appreciate. I gave this place 4 stars because, on a few occasions, my drink order has been missing add-ons. The staff is always happy to fix it when I let them know, which is great—but sometimes I’m in a rush and can’t go back. Overall, it’s a solid spot with reliable quality, just a few small hiccups now and then.“

“I always try to stop by R&B tea if I am near one. There aren’t many in San Diego so it’s always a treat if I can get my favorite drink: brown sugar boba milk.

Brown sugar boba milk - my favorite! The fresh milk is so tasty and mixed with a salted cheese foam with brown sugar. (Do not adjust the sweetness down or it won’t be as flavorful.)
Some other R&B locations offer this is a XL size for $2 more, but not this location.

The worker was friendly and made our drinks fast during a weekday afternoon.

“This place is very interesting. Theres always someone practicing instruments on the little stage but ive never been here for an actual performance.
I asked for a blended Vietnamese milk coffee which isnt on the menu but they whipped it right up.
The drinks are always good and the man who i think runs the place is always nice, attentive and quick.“

“Love this spot. Teas are very floral and I love the option to sweeten to one’s personal preference. All of their drinks are exceptionally delicious. I personally like the oolong teas because I prefer subtle over the strong, milky taste. I drive 15 minutes to get my boba from this location. It never disappoints.“

The lights were off. Pretty sure he was bored or hot or they’re trying to conserve energy. But it didn’t stop him from making the drink delicious. I also love that they seem to be involved with the community, they were doing a fundraiser to support suicide prevention/awareness and I am all for it.They were handing out samples of their bubble waffles which were super good, but I wanted boba tea.They had so many different styles of tea it was hard to choose so I asked for a suggestion and was told the Hawaiian fruit tea was good it’s either black or green tea with chunks of tropical fruits and lemon. I got it with black tea but added boba to it, it was everything I didn’t know I needed. I sat and drank it and got one for my daughter waiting at home. I am excited to see her face light up with delicious delightfulness. Thanks R&B Tea I will be back for more.“

“Today I had their $13.99 lunch special and it was excellent! It was the lunch special board outside while I was walking dogs that made me think I haven't had Chinese food in a long time.
I remember I went when they first opened for dumplings and they were just okay.
Be careful of their front door because it is super heavy and it closed on the back of my healing hurt me and I remember that from the last time I went as well they really need to get that fixed before somebody gets really badly injured.
It definitely hurt like hell and I have a bruise there now.
Anyway back to the lunch special...
I got the walnut shrimp with fried rice you have a choice of fried or steamed and then you can choose soup or veggies chose the veggies but I thought it was going to be veggie soup so I was a little bit confused when I looked in my container and it was broccoli I'm like oh I love broccoli so that was fine.
I basically she pointed out that there was a spicy sour soup and then the veggie and I thought it was veggie soup so that was my bad.
So I never write a review that fast unless I'm really impressed and that was the tastiest broccoli I've ever freaking had and it just looked like steamed broccoli! It had a sauce on it and it was so good I ate all my broccoli first. In fact it was so good my dog who hates veggies ate some broccoli.
The walnut shrimp was really good and crunchy as well. The fried rice was typical fried rice nothing special but Lee was more impressed with the place the second time around with the lunch.
I might go back and retry the dumplings maybe it was an off day on that first visit of mine.“

“Little nap cafe Toasted marshmallow soft serve. Had their chocotherapy ice cream with toasted marshmallows and chocolate straws all on sweet cream. Have to say some times less is more. The ice cream and sweet cream were awesome but everything else was just talking away from them.“
