“I come here often because it’s the best and most convenient option nearby. The food and drinks are consistently good, which I really appreciate. I gave this place 4 stars because, on a few occasions, my drink order has been missing add-ons. The staff is always happy to fix it when I let them know, which is great—but sometimes I’m in a rush and can’t go back. Overall, it’s a solid spot with reliable quality, just a few small hiccups now and then.“

“I always try to stop by R&B tea if I am near one. There aren’t many in San Diego so it’s always a treat if I can get my favorite drink: brown sugar boba milk.

Brown sugar boba milk - my favorite! The fresh milk is so tasty and mixed with a salted cheese foam with brown sugar. (Do not adjust the sweetness down or it won’t be as flavorful.)
Some other R&B locations offer this is a XL size for $2 more, but not this location.

The worker was friendly and made our drinks fast during a weekday afternoon.

“This place is very interesting. Theres always someone practicing instruments on the little stage but ive never been here for an actual performance.
I asked for a blended Vietnamese milk coffee which isnt on the menu but they whipped it right up.
The drinks are always good and the man who i think runs the place is always nice, attentive and quick.“

“This location is pretty consistently good but there have been a few times they were out of boba (always near closing so our own fault) and the parking lot scares me 😂. But the drinks are always made perfectly and when they have boba (which they do most of the time) the texture is perfect!“

“Had the taro milk tea with boba, match milk tea with boba, and plain Puffle waffle. All were really good. Did a great job on the taste of the tea and boba was a good texture/chewy with some flavor to it. As for the Puffle waffle, not what I am used to overseas because of the texture, but still good and as well as flavor. Totally recommend people to try. No picture of Puffle Waffle because we ate it too quick. ??

“I went here to get some bubble milk teaThe portions were large and the tea was really flavorful. The honey boba was chewy and sweet. I tried taro milk tea and got a jasmine milk tea to drink I'm the evening. Stored the jasmine in the fridge for a few hours and the boba held up against the tea and kept shape which was surprising.The service was really great and the person that made our drinks was polite and very efficient. The decor at this place was a little outdated, but there were a few places to sit. There is also outdoor seating in the shopping mall with pretty landscaping and shaded areas.Tapioca express was empty when we visited with no other customers. I guess people don't have bubble tea in the morning. ?‍♀️“

Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. ? Several customers were already inside, enjoying their regular bánh mì.

The shop features 3-4 small tables with stools, creating a cozy seating area. The space was clean and the menus were straightforward, making it easy to place our order. ✨

The service was incredibly friendly. Although the lady suggested her favorite, the fresh fruit tea, it was unfortunately sold out. ?? We chose the Thai tea and milk tea with boba instead. She generously added free fried shrimp to our order! ?❤️

The Thai tea was good, but the highlight was the milk tea. Unlike the typical black tea base, this one had a fragrant jasmine flavor that was absolutely delightful! ?

The bánh mì que is a new variation of the sandwich, being shorter and slimmer. It was packed with a delicious amount of char siu meat and fresh veggies. ???

Given the quality of these items, I’d definitely return to try their regular bánh mì when I’m in the area and craving a delicious Vietnamese sandwich. ?“

“The service is always exceptional! They also use Cafe Moto for their coffee which is premium coffee, crazythe delicious and high quality. I love their boba drinks, Red/Black tea and you can also add boba to any coffee order! The iced Cafe mocha with Boba is amazing! They also offer non dairy options as well! As far as atmosphere, it's friendly but a little older and kinda hot with no A/C. Great for dropping in just to grab a drink though!“

Boba was cooked very well at this location. However, drinks took a super long time to come out for 3-4 people in front of us.

Staff is always friendly too. ..Shoot one time I accidentally spilled my froyo while putting it up on the scizzy (I felt so bad and guilty) and the lady was so nice she didn't charge me even though I insisted. She wouldn't even let me clean it up either she insisted on doing that too and told me to go n make a new froyo. This my new froyo spot now?“
