“My husband and I grabbed the yogurt frost mango and yogurt frost combination. They were delicious, not too sweet and perfectly made. Our bobarista David W. Was very kind, helpful, compassionate, and enthusiastic. He brought great energy to the room and suggested we try the tiny boba because they didn't have the regular sized ones and turns out, I ended up liking it better than the original boba! The boba was soft and sweet, it tasted very fresh. We will be returning. Excellent service, shout-out to David W. Again. Give that man a raise!!!! He provides exceptional service.“

“What. A. Burger! A Spicy Pad Kaprao Pork Burger with a very flavorful spice that was out of this world. Sticky rice for the bun took it over the top in a way that I've never thought to try. The fried egg was the finishing touch that will get me back in the ship.“

“First time visiting. At first I was like where is the parking then I went through the back and found ample parking. You can’t tell from the outside but the inside is absolutely relaxing! I got the taro king and I was soooooo impressed with all the flavors! Hands down one of the best Taro bobas that I’ve had in San Diego so far! I will return and I highly recommend.“

“I've tried Dori Boba's drinks twice, and overall, it's been a decent experience. Taro Milk Tea: It was good, a bit sweet for my liking without modifications. The texture, typical of taro milk tea, was slightly grainy but not overwhelming. Boba: Unfortunately, the boba was inconsistent with varying textures--some too chewy, some hard. Seemed like a mix of undercooked, overcooked, and just right. Vietnamese Coffee: Not my favorite; less sweet and a bit bitter compared to what I expected from Vietnamese Coffee. Service has been good, and the cashier is friendly. They offer a 5% cash discount. Despite not being my top choice for boba or Vietnamese coffee, it's conveniently close to work, and I might give it a few more tries. Oh and the interior does have a room for a few people to sit, but I can see how the seating could be uncomfortable if it is really busy.“

Atmosphere is a normal ice cream shop - bright, no comfortable seating.Parking: Depending on how busy the area is the parking can be easy.Kid-friendliness: Lots of seating. “Cute shop and interesting choices! I'd come back but because there was only one person working the cash register and making the boba teas, it took a long time just to get one drink. The person at the counter was very nice and helpful. I just felt bad for him because there were 20 other people in the tea spot trying to order or wait for their teas and people kept coming in to order, which delayed the drinks coming out even more. The cashier/barista was a bit overwhelmed. I'd probably go to a tea house that staffs properly next time. The orange jasmine green tea drink was good otherwise!“

“My brother was so mad his drink was too sweet he went out of his way to one-star the entire store. This is to cancel it out because they have many options of drinks and food beyond what I see from most boba places and they sell cute merch. And if you want a nice hangout spot with your friends, it's usually empty so that's a plus.“

I always order the green tea so I can only speak for that quality and preference because I think Tap Ex tea lacks strength and flavor but that is just my opinion. They were awesome - imagine sour cream and onion chips but fries - heaven sent! The service was great - both gentleman I interacted with were so kind and helpful. “It's an unassuming shop that has a good variety of banh mis (sandwhiches) among other typical Vietnamese Deli selections. The sandwhiches were pretty good and fairly priced. They definitely hit the spot when you've got that craving! The staff is very friendly, if a little bit sparse. They do work quickly to get yoru order prepared. I liked their selection of banh mis, they've got the classics and few others for the uninitiated. The bread was great, crunchy exterior and soft on the inside. The shop isn't much, but if you're there for a quick bite it's not that much of a factor - cause all you want is that banh mi flavor! Would return to grab another bite!“

“Randomly stumbled upon this spot when picking up some dinner, and I am very glad I did! This place is pretty hidden away in a shopping center, and I believe you have to park a bit far away from it, but I can be wrong. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from which is super cool and there is a lot of seating which is perfect if you are going with a big group. The people running the shop were very sweet and helped accommodate my drink since I don't drink whole milk. I tried the Coconut Ice Blend with Almond Milk and Boba, and it was very yummy. It was the perfect amount of sweetness and I love the creamy coconut flavor. I can't wait to go back and try more drinks!“

“We recently had our wedding and instead of an alcohol bar chose to have a boba bar. We initially shopped around for different stores who could accommodate larger catering orders, and we found SD Boba Tea. We got in touch with Brandy, who was able to arrange a tasting for us where we easily went through dozens of iterations of different flavors and sweetness levels to find exactly what we wanted. We ultimately chose 4 flavors: royal black milk tea, jasmine milk tea, plum oolong tea, and peach green tea. Once we had flavors decided, Brandy was super helpful with making recommendations for volume, timing, etc. She and Jaden showed up early on the day-of to set up (including some of their own decorations, which was awesome!) and were ready to go on time. They both served drinks to our guests (rather than self-serve, which gets messy), and our guests loved them so much that they drank us dry in no time. All the feedback we got was positive, and related to the tastiness of the drinks as well as the high quality service. One note would be that because the store is often really busy, sometimes email communication is a bit slow; this wasn't a problem for us since we had made plans very far in advance, and Brandy always replied after a quick follow up from our end. We'll be visiting again soon for casual boba, and would definitely recommend SD Boba Tea to anyone else planning a large event!“

“The fries are so delicious! You can’t go wrong with any of them but the bulgogi fries, Hawaiian chicken chipotle, and the poke fries are to die for! The fries are nice and crispy and hold up really well through the sauce, which they don’t skimp out on! Build your own boba is so easy and they have a great amount of teas, slushes, and toppings. The staff is hands down the best part! They’re always super friendly and helpful! Can’t rave enough about this place!“

“Amazing Boba place! Their drinks are quality here. We got the Matcha tea latte, and the strawberry lemonade with mango stars and they were both so delicious and refreshing! There is a small parking lot and parking is not an issue. We found parking right away. Customer Service was great! Definitely will be coming back here to enjoy and try the rest of their drink items. “I've been to this Kung Fu tea many times but got something different today. I tried the mango slush with 30% sweetness and mango jelly. It wasn't too sweet but the ice wasn't as blended as I wanted it to be. The drink also took awhile because there were several orders and only 1 bobarista making drinks. Although we had to wait a bit for drinks I would still come back for the convenience of living nearby and the variety of flavors offered. I think I'll go with a milk tea or fruited tea next time I visit.“

“This has become one of my regular spots since moving to the area. Often, you have to choose between good food and good boba, but here you get both! I got a latte with boba and was surprised how good the coffee tasted. Highly recommend the chicken and the cream cheese wontons. Love that they let you customize the level of spice and the dipping sauce.The owner is also so sweet! Always welcoming and helpful when it comes to deciding what to get. “I went here to get some bubble milk teaThe portions were large and the tea was really flavorful. The honey boba was chewy and sweet. I tried taro milk tea and got a jasmine milk tea to drink I'm the evening. Stored the jasmine in the fridge for a few hours and the boba held up against the tea and kept shape which was surprising.The service was really great and the person that made our drinks was polite and very efficient. The decor at this place was a little outdated, but there were a few places to sit. There is also outdoor seating in the shopping mall with pretty landscaping and shaded areas.Tapioca express was empty when we visited with no other customers. “Cozy Restaurant in the heart of North Park. The food is delicious. We had Egg Rolls, Drunken Noodles, Panang Curry with Brown Rice and Ginger Tea. Price is affordable and customer service is 10/10. I highly recommend this restaurant. Vegan options available upon request.“

The staff wasn't very helpful they were aloof and clearly don't understand what it means to have a customer service job....serve the customer make suggestions. A few times the drinks have not been consistent so one day it tastes great and then the next time (depending on who is making it) it tastes completely different. It's a cute little spot and much needed in that shopping center.“
