“Prey Brewing Company is a go-to spot for my coworkers and me. We can always agree on this place because the food is consistently delicious and the drink menu is solid. They recently updated their happy hour, but it’s still a great deal. You can't go wrong with the smash burger or the chicken sandwich, both of which pair perfectly with their fries. Do yourself a favor and make sure you get the garlic aioli—it is absolutely delicious!“

Has the perfect little dive bar vibe but I can also get a nice cocktail with no hassle if that's what I'm feeling that night. Bar tenders are always cool. “Better than some other bars where you have to mess about with credit cards, pay later, &c. Friendly bar staff. Decent pinot noir. Classic rock on the sound system: like most of Southern California, they haven’t progressed past the early 1970s, so much of the music is 50 years old!! Warning: not a drinker’s bar. Locals sip on kombucha while you’re sitting there getting slaughtered.“

“The Pour House became one of my favorite bars! The food is great and not too expensive! The staff works hard and makes you feel welcome! Great spot for live bands and always good vibes! Never had problems parking but for that smashburger i would walk 500 miles and 500 more hahaha 📸🤓“

“We stopped by Hill Street Brewing Co. to watch the Mexico World Cup game and had such a great experience. The staff was genuinely so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they appreciate every customer, and that kind of service goes a long way.
The place had a great crowd, everyone was into the game, and it was just a fun atmosphere to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a dog friendly brewery in South Oceanside with craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of TVs to catch a game, this is a great spot.
There are a lot of breweries to choose from in North County, but I really hope people continue to support Hill Street. Friendly people make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“I visited for a business lunch and I was really impressed. This might be my new favorite Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and spacious with tasteful decor. The hostess/waitress was genuine and polite. I actually felt like she was happy to serve us. My associate ordered the Panang curry with chicken while I went for the Pad Thai with chicken- spicy level 10/10. It actually had a kick! Rarely am I challenged by heat, but the dish was flavorful, plated attractively and a fully portioned. Next time I’m in the mood for Thai food, I’ll certainly be coming back!“

“We love Bar Meets Grill! The food is always spectacular especially when Carlos is the chef on duty and the service is ALWAYS top notch. Everyone is so welcoming and attentive from Miriam at the front to Behrouz bringing the bread, singing Happy Birthday with his beautiful voice and bussing tables to almost all of the servers….Stephen, Tiffany, Sean…everyone is incredible there. We had the pleasure of having Stephen for our waiter for our Valentines date with our daughter and he is always exceptional and accommodating! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious and the steaks flavor was amazing. Best desserts too especially the flourless chocolate cake (highly recommend)! This is always our go to restaurant whether is for a date night or even taking our kids out in their birthdays( it is all 3 of our kids favorite restaurant). Thanks to everyone at Bar Meets Grill for always making us feel so welcome and taking the best care of us consistently!“
