“Friday, July 24th. The happy hour drinks weren't that good. They were watered down and the drinks weren't made right. The bartender possibly doesn't have enough experience. Their house wine wasn't tasty as well. But, the food wasn't too bad. I probably would choose a different spot around main street in Vista like Mikko sushi, best pizza or belching beaver on my next hangout.“

Classic rock on the sound system: like most of Southern California, they haven’t progressed past the early 1970s, so much of the music is 50 years old!! Warning: not a drinker’s bar. Maybe it's the U-shaped, dive bar setup with very cheap prices... Maybe it's the tiny bathrooms with friendly gals squeezing past you to apply lipgloss... The vibes were incredible!

Krista is one badass lady who has been tending bar here for many years. The young man who was her bar back was so kind and efficient. Bouncer was chill and he applied a stamp to my wrist upon entry.

“We stopped by Hill Street Brewing Co. to watch the Mexico World Cup game and had such a great experience. The staff was genuinely so friendly and welcoming from the moment we walked in. You can tell they appreciate every customer, and that kind of service goes a long way.

The place had a great crowd, everyone was into the game, and it was just a fun atmosphere to spend the afternoon. If you’re looking for a dog friendly brewery in South Oceanside with craft beer, BBQ, and plenty of TVs to catch a game, this is a great spot.

There are a lot of breweries to choose from in North County, but I really hope people continue to support Hill Street. Friendly people make all the difference, and we’ll definitely be back.“

“I visited for a business lunch and I was really impressed. This might be my new favorite Thai restaurant. The restaurant was clean and spacious with tasteful decor. The hostess/waitress was genuine and polite. I actually felt like she was happy to serve us. My associate ordered the Panang curry with chicken while I went for the Pad Thai with chicken- spicy level 10/10. It actually had a kick! Rarely am I challenged by heat, but the dish was flavorful, plated attractively and a fully portioned. Next time I’m in the mood for Thai food, I’ll certainly be coming back!“

Everyone is so welcoming and attentive from Miriam at the front to Behrouz bringing the bread, singing Happy Birthday with his beautiful voice and bussing tables to almost all of the servers….Stephen, Tiffany, Sean…everyone is incredible there. We had the pleasure of having Stephen for our waiter for our Valentines date with our daughter and he is always exceptional and accommodating! The jumbo shrimp cocktail was delicious and the steaks flavor was amazing. Best desserts too especially the flourless chocolate cake (highly recommend)! This is always our go to restaurant whether is for a date night or even taking our kids out in their birthdays( it is all 3 of our kids favorite restaurant).
