“From being greeted by Pradstha to being served by Hugo all was fantastic. My steak was cooked to perfection (Medium rare of course) the baked potato was cooked through but not dry, and the salad bar provided a very nice fresh selection. Even two Managers Michael and Christine made sure all was well with my meal.

I originally posted a review regarding what I believed to be a billing error at Chin’s Carlsbad. However, after speaking directly with a representative, Howard, I want to commend their professionalism and quick response in addressing my concerns.

Howard took the time to go over my receipt in detail, and we discovered that the Point-of-Sale system deducts a portion of sales tax from gift certificates, which initially caused some confusion. After reviewing the proper sales tax calculations, it became clear that my bill was actually correct. In retrospect, I was mistaken, not the restaurant.

I truly appreciate Howard's courteous and professional approach in resolving this issue. It’s a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. Chin’s has always been a family favorite, and I’m happy to say that their integrity and service remain top-notch.“

“We came with the whole family (7 of us) from San Diego & Murrieta because based on its menu Los Cabos in Vista offered all the types of seafood (raw oysters, whole fish with head and tail, shrimp, octopus). Everything including the tacos we ordered was so finger-licking good!!! Compliments to the chefs! And best of all was the service from Beyonce & Karina - quick, helpful, friendly!!! Our only suggestion would be to please add oxtail to the menu!!! Gracias a todos.“

“Mannn i've tried a lot of different marisco (seafood) places and this place is leagues and bounds above the places i've been to even compared to the great places in Mexico!

The service is better than most restaurants. The gentlemen here are very attentive, kind, informative, and treat you like family.

This place is a hidden gem and well worth the visit. I live in LA and i still go out of my way to eat here.

I would give this place 10 stars if i could!

“Customer service is good and the food was prepared without us having to wait an exorbitant amount of time. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered Szechuan tofu with rice and then vegetable chow mein (which was amazing) and my nana ordered salt and pepper wings and vegetable egg rolls. She claims they were excellent. I'm usually a big eater but could not finish it all. Place is mid sized, if you intend to have a large party, you will take up most of the space in this place. Tables would have to be moved together if you wanted to sit together. Other than that it is perfect for 1-4 people to grab lunch and go. They take phone orders. I'm also vegetarian so there are options for you if you are as well. Think that covers it, stop by yourself and enjoy!

Vegetarian options: Lot of tofu options or just different vegetable dishes

Dietary restrictions: My Nana can't eat beef or pork and I am vegetarian. Still a good selection of options for the both of us“

Great service, large menu with a seafood focus and beer & wine. The food was fresh made and tasty. We did not have seafood, but we enjoyed the standard staples. The chicken flautas were crisp but not overcooked. Fries were good. Quesidillas were cooked perfectly and flavorful. Street tacos were a delight. The chilie rellenos/enchilada combo was excellent. Horchata tasted great, but was a little thin, but very refreshing. The guacamole tasted like fresh avocado, excellent, but could use some spices and onion, tomato, etc. The salsa served with chips was just OK. Flavor was good but the salsa was very thin and watery, did not scoop on the chip, and was a disappointment. The chips were OK, but not served warm and tasted like out of a bag. The sour cream also was very thin and quickly became runny, I suggest getting better salsa and sour cream. The food quality was great, and I would eat here again. Plenty of parking and great ADA access. Kid friendly, and a kids menu. A good family place. Service was quick and efficient, and the staff were smiling and friendly, and very knowledgeable.“

Things I totally dislike...when in the heck is it ok to charge a mandatory 20% tip ahead of being served? That is totally rude and unamerican to impose such an outrageous rule, so even if the service was unprofessional or rude it is too late because the tip was collected ahead of time....Let's not allow the abuse to be the norm...!“

Been coming here when they first opened up before the name change, staff is lovely, foods always been fresh, I come here about 5 x a month, take food to family, broccoli is never overcooked, noodles are always delicious, spicy chicken, BBQ pork, everythings good here... And you already know about the portions, meal prep worthy with about 3lb of food !!! Lol I'd give them more stars if it were possible. “I absolutely love this place. I have stopped in maybe three or four times now for lunch and it never disappoints. Im definitely not an expert in their cuisine but i do know when a spot offers an abundance of good food for a low price, and this hits that mark. The large plates of made to order food are affordable and the big ol' draft beer is great to wash it all down. The service is always with a smile and the restraunt is always very relaxed with some sports on the TV and families dining. 100% recommend stopping in for simple, delicious food, for not a whole lot of $$$.“

“This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the North county area. I mostly do takeout from this place, but it is a great experience dining in as well. Food is delicious and portions are generous. I also highly recommend appetizers and dessert here. My go to is the drunken noodles or massaman curry, but everything else I've tried was amazing. Service is fast and friendly, there is rarely a long wait for food or drinks.“

“Ordered the Mexican sweet corn bowl with shrimp. Absolutely outstanding. I got extra onion and cilantro from the abundant salsa bar. The lady at the cash register's name is Patty and she was so sweet and accommodating and friendly and knowledgeable. I think she made the meal taste even better with her warm and friendly service even though she didn't prepare the food herself. Nice quiet place I would encourage people to go in there and actually sit down and have dinner.“

“This is our favorite spot to eat at after school and before practice. They have great food and large portions. Fish tacos are excellent also. The cooks are quick and amazing, plus, never have to ask for extra sauce. Also, regularly not a wait. My son loves the BBQ beef.

“Love the food here! It’s our first time and we inhaled our meals 😂 I had the brown stew chicken w rice, plantains and stewed cabbage. Hubby had coconut curry chicken, rice, collard greens and salad. The chicken was sooo tender in both dishes and generous portions. I had already started eating before taking the photo so disregard the bare bone on the top of the dish- I immediately dug into the tender chicken that was falling off the bone. Highly recommend…. now to make it to beach to walk off our lunch (or nap lol)!“

“Service was slow and inconsistent. We sat almost 12 minutes before anyone came near us. We ordered an appetizer , while we waited for our third person to arrive. We ordered dinner and were served salads immediately. We were halfway thru the salad before the appetizer arrived. Minutes later, dinners arrived. while we were still working on the appetizer. Service was not the best, but the food was really excellent. The Prime Rib was perfect, but the plate was drab and dull. No color whatsoever. A piece of parsley would go a long way. I have had better service at IHOP.“
