“We were passing through this town and decided to have dinner at this restaurant. Typical local Chinese takeaway restaurant.❌The roof of the restaurant was leaking and the doors to the toilet did not close.✅The service and attention of the waiters was at a good level. The food was amazingly delicious. We enjoyed the food!“

“China inn is one of the only Chinese restaurants in Brawley that are good. It does suck that you can no longer dine in but only take out makes it special. There food is great, i would recommend the beef chowmein, orange chicken, and ege rolls. The price are fair and reasonable. People always complain about the food taking a long time but they don't realize how long it takes make Chinese food. I would also recommend calling and placing your order before hand, it usually takes 20 minutes so you could save money and just walk in there to get the pick up yourself. Over all its a great place and my favorite place to get some chowmein, hope the place never has to shut down.Vegetarian options: There are many vegetarian options.Kid-friendliness: There are some nice things that i think children would like. I would recommend orange chicken and chowmein for kids.Parking: The parking area is manly a large parking lot for other stores that are nearby but there still plenty of parking for this restaurant.“

“Do NOT judge this book by its cover! The food is delicious! It used to be good and now it's amazing. I don't know why. Maybe different cook? I don't know. I just know that it's delicious. We used to deal with China Inns's ridiculously long waiting times because we liked the food more but now, hands down, Peony Pavilion is the go to place. The decor leaves so much to be desired, and the colors are not that great but it's better than the Pepto Bismol pink they had for awhile ? Service is quick and friendly. Prices, fair, considering how everything has gone up. And portions are more than reasonable. I personally like chicken with broccoli in white sauce, salt and pepper fish, Mongolian beef, Kong Pow chicken, and Chicken Chow Mei . They also have this awesome Noodle soup with different meats in it. I like it with their seed-like hot sauce and no noodles. I use rice instead. Perfect when feeling under the weather or in need of a little soothing.Dietary restrictions: Since I have to limit my beef intake they were willing to alter the beef and broccoli to chicken and broccoli and recommended white sauce instead of brown. Best Choice Ever!!!!“
