“Where do I even begin? We have always had nothing but the very best experience at Hapa! Friendly customer service, and high-quality treats! Their banana pudding and chocolate pudding are my absolute favorites! Like they are DANGEROUSLY good!! I may or may not hide them from my kids! I also love their new brownie edges!! My mom‘s favorite is their sprinkle cookies, to the extent that she will make a special trip to Hapa anytime she’s in town to get herself some! At this point, I just have them ready and waiting for her! The variety of items and flavors that they provide is also incredible! 10 out of 10! Hundred percent recommend! As for their shop, they have done so much to update their storefront! It is so cute and inviting! Beautiful, clean displays and the perfect backdrop for that must-have selfie for socials! Make sure to give them a try, but when you get addicted to that pudding, don’t say that I didn’t warn you!“

“This parlor is in the food court at the Brea Mall. It's conveniently next to the Wetzel Pretzels. The flavor scheme is only rivaled but the color scheme. My grandson wanted the Lucky Charms combo and he couldn't have been happier. The sever was polite and friendly and the mall finally put tables out again. “We’re huge fans of Porto’s, and visiting the Buena Park location is always a must whenever we’re on the West Coast. While we often order online from them, there’s something extra special about experiencing it in person. No matter how many times we’ve been, it never gets old—it’s always a treat.

It can definitely get busy, with lines often stretching outside the door, but the staff has the process down to a science. Every visit we've made between 10 a.m. and noon, we've been lucky—only about a 5-minute wait before placing our order. They move fast, stay organized, and somehow still manage to be friendly and attentive the entire time.

When dining in, they hand you a pager to place on your table, and everything—drinks and food—gets brought right to you. They even come around to clear the tables when you're done, which makes the experience feel that much more relaxed and enjoyable.

This time around we had the Media Noche sandwich, Lechon platter, and plantain chips, plus a good selection of pastries—cheese rolls, guava and cheese strudels, and our personal favorite, the besitos. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The Media Noche was packed with perfectly balanced, melty goodness, the lechon was tender and well-seasoned, and the plantain chips were crispy and addictive.

To drink, we ordered an iced vanilla oat latte and an iced Americano—both of which paired perfectly with our meal and pastries.

If you’re anywhere near Buena Park, Porto’s is worth the detour. The food is consistently excellent, the service is quick and efficient, and there’s something for everyone on the menu. Whether you’re dining in or taking a pastry box to go, you can’t go wrong. We’re already counting down to our next visit!“

“I wanted to send something special for my daughter-in-law’s birthday while she and her family were in Disneyland. I found this fabulous bakery and selected them, as I loved their story l, plus they have a 5 star rating. They were so amazing to work with and did exactly what they promised. They followed up quickly and even had it delivered to the hotel along with information and pictures on who they left it with for her birthday. It was the most delicious carrot cake I ever had! Even family members who exclaimed they did not like carrot cake tried this one and changed their mind it was that good!! We also got a flan pie. Whoever thought of it had a great idea and presentation(minus the vanilla scoop making it look like chunks of cheese floating around your tea) but awful awful execution. Also did not know the brown sugar boba was popping boba and it just felt like exploding gobs of caramel with each boba, very unpleasant. Get something else!!Also big sad there's no bubblegum flavor ice cream. :(“

The only downside to this location is that the parking suck, and when it gets busy. Forget getting in. The lot is so small that the car line to get in is ridiculously long and sometimes blocks traffic.“
