Very friendly gentleman takes your order and very helpfully offers to bring it out to your car.
I get the house special banh mi : cold cuts, liver pate, crunchy daikon and radish plus jalapeno peppers. Very excellent bread holds it all together.
I always leave with a complementary tea and fruit or other sweet dessert.

“Joe's is simply a great little sandwich and deli shop with affordable prices, kind service, and good food. I've tried a few different items here and always enjoyed the sandwiches.

A few of my favorites are the Walnut Chicken Sandwich, Jalapeño Chicken, Jalapeño Tuna, and Cranberry Turkey. The sandwiches are filled with fresh ingredients, and the sourdough and squaw are my go-to bread choices. The combos include a drink and chips. Salads are also available.

I usually come in for lunch with little to no waiting. There are a few tables to dine at, but I typically take my order to go.

I'm happy to support this small, local business. I can't wait to try more items from Joe's. I highly recommend it!“

“I worked in this area years ago.i enjoyed this place then. I recently been coming back due to appointments at Kaiser. #25 ,Mac salad and a vitamin water are my go to's. It's a very quiet yet nice atmosphere. The service is excellent even when the staff is bombarded with orders.“

“I had the New Yorker Hot sandwich on sourdough while I was there. It came with a pickle spear and peppercinni, and they had the perfect freshness, crunch, and sour to accompany the savory sandwich. The New Yorker is a simple sandwich, and honestly, a good sandwich doesn't need the most exotic ingredients anyway. Sure, I could have made a sandwich at home, but did I? No. Also, I don't have the patience to do anything more than slap some cold cuts and mayo on cold bread. “Mom's Deli is close to my work and I visit here in spurts. Sometimes once a week, then once a month, back to once a week. The inside is clean and wholesome kitchen feeling, with pleasant background music. No fountain drinks at the moment, just bottled/canned beverages and water.

Most of their sandwiches are quite good, featuring a nice selection of breads from rolls to sliced bread and squaw. Their paninis are tasty too. I've also had their breakfast sandwich with bacon which is spot on for the morning. Bacon can be overdone at times, but provides a nice crunch to get your morning started.

My favorite sandwich is their large meatball on french roll; good sauce, plenty of meatballs and TONS of cheese. Great comfort sandwich.

Today I tried their AC chicken salad (apple and cranberry) on squaw and I might have a new favorite!! Delicious, crisp, and refreshing. Definitely be returning soon for this one.

Vegetarian options: They has salads and maybe meatless options, haven't really inquired about that.

Big, hearty, fully loaded, big pieces of grilled chicken, bacon, fresh produce, all packed into toasted bread that didn’t fall apart halfway through. They offered their secret sauce on the side (free), and I gave it a go. It’s more sweet and tangy than salty—interesting but not essential. The potato salad? Flavor’s fine, but it was colder than necessary. Like, “is this thing still defrosting?” kind of cold. I ended up letting it sit for a bit before really digging in. Not a dealbreaker, just maybe chill your beer, not your side dish, you know?
And speaking of beer, yes, they’ve got a full draft beer counter with a bunch of taps. Great if you’re coming to hang out or just want something to go with your sandwich. I also noticed they’ve got some legit-looking salads, too. Not just lettuce and regret—actual good, full-meal salads that I’ll probably come back to try. The vibe was great for a Sunday afternoon: live music outside, mellow crowd, and free, easy parking. Under $18 for a good meal with solid portions, solid flavor, and good energy all around. “The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience.

Food: I have had different food experiences at the Studio Catering Co. stand over the years and it is really tasty for a food stand at a Disney park. This trip was the Lomo Saltado Burrito which was meaty, peppery, fries-tastic, and salsa-rific! This is a great grab-n-go food option for the massive amount of offerings at DCA.

Service: I am hard pressed to find an un-friendly Disney cast member that is assisting me. Service is great and they will always let you know if there is a delay or problem. Had a food delay a few months back here and the staff was helpful and awesome then as they were today.

Ambiance: If you want to sit right near the food stand/truck there isn’t a lot of shade. This is in the Hollywood Studios area of California Adventure and is themed for the area. As of June 2025, I do not know if this will go once they start Avatar land but for now I love that it is here.“

“We ordered a honey ham and two turkey breasts for pick-up. Our order was ready on time, but we were stuck in traffic trying to get there before the place closed. We called from our car and explained our dilemma.

As it turned out, we managed to arrive with about 10 minutes to spare. One of the servers had kindly bagged our order and set it in the fridge for us, assuming we likely have to pick it up the next day.
