Been here a few times and the servers, food, cleanliness, are always spot on. It’s a mom and pop shop style of BCD. However, it’s down to earth and not commercial. I love their 순두부 (tofu soup), their 냉면 (cold noodles), and their meat quality is always good.
It’s never packed and full of older people, which means it’s calm and relaxed.

Gunul Korean Restaurant is a must-visit spot, especially on a rainy day. The ambiance is relaxing, laid back, and clean, making it perfect for casual gatherings or date nights. The menu offerings are delicious and served in generous portions. Highlights include the green apple soda, green apple soda soju pitcher, sea snails with noodles, disco chicken, kimchi pasta, So-dduk-so-dduk, and fish cake soup. The garlic chicken wings and teokbokki are also highly recommended. The staff is friendly, and the service is timely, with buttons at each table to call the server when needed.
