“First time going here. I got the Beef Drunken Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. When I tell you both dishes had so much flavor and they give you big portions. “Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.

“Today I went to rodeo 39 in Garden Grove with some friends and I stumbled across Kra Z Kai's. It was my second time trying Laos barbecue. This place is a hidden gem for sure. Everything was the delicious. The ribs were marinated for 24 hours. The barbecue pork and the chicken were all marinated in the same sauce. The owner told me the service was fast and this whole ambience was nice some of the best food I've had in a long time next time I'm going to Garden Grove. I will come here again.“

“The Chicken Rice is one of the top spots in OC for original Khao Man Gai. It’s been a minute since my last visit, so I was surprised to discover that they relocated from their previous Santa Ana location into the 4th Street Market. The Chicken Rice joins a number of innovative food makers featured in this food hall. I parked at a nearby meter but according to their website, there are two parking structures off of 4th and 5th Streets that offer the first 2 hours free!

I recommend making it a combo with the Chicken & Rice which includes 2 choices of protein, soup and vegetables. My go-to protein choices are Hainanese Chicken and Crispy Chicken, so I get to enjoy the best of both worlds! The combo includes a choice of signature ginger rice or steamed rice, but you can choose brown rice (+$1) or sticky rice (+$2) for an additional charge. They also allow their customers to select 2 sauces from 8 different options. The Ginger Chicken Oil is a nice complement to the Hainanese Chicken and I enjoyed dipping the Crispy Chicken in their Spicy Soybean Chili Ginger sauce. If you’re a Hainan Chicken fan like I am, The Chicken Rice is a must try!“

“One of my local favs for thai food. Fast friendly service, loved the new sauce containers. Got my go to pineapple fried rice, perfect flavoring and good portion sizing/pricing. Tried the green beans with tofu for the first time and wasn't disappointed. We even had enough for a to-go box. “The food was delicious! My friend recommended it and we decided to eat there for lunch. Our refreshments were served in a cute mason jar. We shared chicken egg rolls for an appetizer. My friend ordered tom yum soup with shrimp and I got Thai Boat Noodle. I am definitely going to eat there again and bring my family.“

“I was craving something different, so my brother suggested Thai food. We found this great little mom-and-pop spot called Mine Eathai. As soon as we walked in, we were warmly welcomed. The staff was super friendly and took the time to explain menu items we hadn’t tried before. The prices were reasonable, and the food was absolutely amazing. First off, the service here is excellent!

Second, the food is great as well and very reasonably priced. We ended up ordering pad se ew with chicken ($10.99), green curry with chicken ($11.99), and panang Curry with chicken ($11.99), and Mango Sticky rice (was complimentary but usually $8.99) because my 2 y/o wouldn't stop crying. It was like magic for us. Not so much for him because he not used to those flavors yet lol. Only downside I thought about the food was the pad se ew needed just a touch more stir fry sauce,but other than that everything else was great!

The place inside is cozy. I feel like it seats about 30 people max and there are 2 booths, so if you have a stroller like we did, it gets tight. Not too sure how a Wheelchair would fit, but I'm sure the staff would be very willing to accommodate. As far parking, it's limited in a street corner 4 Plex, but come at the right time and you're good.

Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.“

“Have been picking up takeout from this neighborhood staple for 26 years and I know people who have been eating here since 1990. D Thai Chinese is apparently a one-woman operation; the owner takes orders, cooks, serves etc. all by herself, and she is so sweet and friendly.
I can only respect how D Thai's prices remain lower than other Thai/Chinese places in the area, although the prices have been raised in the last year or so (two dollars up per lunch and dinner special). The quality of the food however has remained reliably good, fresh cooked to order, and flavorful. I don't know enough about Chinese or Thai cooking to comment on how authentic it is, but it's pretty good in my opinion and that's what matters most to me.
I've tried most of the menu over the years and the standouts to me are the fried rice, thai basil chicken, mongolian beef, beef salads, and pad see ew. The majority of the menu is four stars, but those are the five star items in my experience.
Be advised, cash only and takeout only! For what it is -- a takeout Asian hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- D Thai is a respectable local treat that I will allow myself pretty regularly within my budget. Since the owner lady is so likeable and impressive, and the food is plentiful and decent quality for your dollar, I have to rate this place five stars overall.

“This is one of my Thai mom’s favorite restaurants and is also a favorite for my relatives as well. While this is not close to the pinnacle of Thai food, I can admit that most of the dishes are decent. My family always gets the fried pork, thai fish cake and boat noodles. Their sausage is fine.“

“Friday 3/28/25 Dinner at Fire Tiger Thai Food in Whittier with my friends Erwin and Victoria. Enjoying a wonderful dinner together after a hard day’s work. We ordered Shrimp pad Thai, fire tiger wings, seven sea soup, crying tiger, and mango sticky rice. The foods were so delicious and savory and a good size portion. Not salty, not too spicy, just right to taste with all the herbs and spices.

Nikki, service staff, was super nice and work diligently to serve all the customers.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated with flowers and was cleaned.

I recommend trying this restaurant.

“I ordered chicken Tom Yum and a side of rice, (paid extra to add shrimp to my soup) via UberEats. The soup itself has amazing flavor! Fresh ingredients. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars had it not been for the fact that I received 1 shrimp when I paid extra to have shrimp added. If it's a case of $1 PER shrimp, this needs to be clearly addressed in the ordering options so we can add more than just one.
Apart from this, the food is excellent, and they even included the thai chilis I requested on the side.

My party arrived, we're promptly seated and had ordered. Within 10 minutes, all of our food arrived freshly made to order and made delicious. Try the Crab Noodle and the Spicy Crispy Pork, you won't be disappointed. They use real crab in their crab dishes. Also, be weary of the spice levels.“
