“This restaurant is like a pearl in a clam in HP neighborhood. They serve delicious Salvadoran food. The restaurant can sit about five tables. It's clean and well lighted. There are two colorful wall paintings depicting life of Salvadorans. The cashier has a cheerful voice which enlightens your day. She's very friendly and knowledgeable.“

“One of the best places for authentic Salvadoran food! If you’re looking for great pupusas and a really good pan con pollo, this is definitely the spot. The pupusas were fresh, hot, and packed with flavor, and the curtido and salsa were perfect with them.
I also tried the pan con pollo and it was amazing. The chicken was tender and well seasoned, the bread was fresh, and everything tasted homemade and authentic.
The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. If you’re craving Salvadoran food or searching for the best pupusas around, I highly recommend this place. I’ll definitely be coming back!“

“Good spot for a quick bit or a full meal. I stop like ritual every morning for my pan con frijoles/huevos/creso duro, can't go wrong. The food is delicious and the girls are nice, not mean like other places I've gone. I think it is a spot that is underrated, been in a corner, no parking lot. Feels cozy. Like one of those little spots, you go in El Salvador and get surprised.“

Noe and his wife welcome us and make us feel like at home, and the food was spectacular for a very fare price. Eve my Co worker from Ecuador was so pleased with this salvadoran restaurant. “Delicious hot food, refreshing drinks, and fresh papusas. Friendly, fast service. Some entres tend to be very light on salt. A request I have for this place is to please place bilingual signage in front of each food item for easy identification and ordering. Although, they do have a menu on the wall, it's difficult to read for some. Other than that, food is fresh, hot, and delicious!“

“This was our second visit--the first roughly a year before. If I lived nearby I would eat there as much as I could. The food is terrific and the price is more than fair for the repast. Every course from appetizer to desert was excellent. If you find yourself in La Veta you shouldn't skip it.“

“Pupusas are delicious! I’ve tried many different restaurants in the valley and this one by far takes it. They are off of Foothill Blvd (in front of the Vons) Tuesday-Sunday. Hours vary from 9:30. Very affordable and they have an area where you can sit and eat. Also very clean, gloves are used to prepare your food.“

“Biggest thing to know is that is cash only. The place is very compact, but homey.
Good food, and well seasoned. Only issue was how expensive it was. Parking is a little tough, but worth it for a little piece of Central America here in LA. Posting the latest menu updates circa 09/2024“

“Very nice staff, fairly quick service, great food. Although I will say, I've had a bit of inconsistency with dishes like the taquitos dorados in how they're prepared. I'm mexican, I'm not sure if it's a central American thing to add radish and cucumber on top of this dish, although the first time they were big slices, so I simply removed them myself but the second time it was finely diced so be aware that dished with a lot of preparation could vary a bit from time to time. That being said, the pupusas as amazing! My favorite is the chicharon con queso, I'm a big guy, and I'm honestly good with one, although I wouldn't mind 3!“

“A nice and quiet place, good food, a little more atmosphere, music, yes, but you can go to eat a Salvadoran meal with a Salvadoran woman and have a quiet time having a good time. “My first time ordering was over the phone, waited about 20 minutes and they were right about on time. Most restaurants take your order and forget the time. As for the Carne asada burrito and the Bean and cheese Pupusas were delicious. I will definitely be going back. Staff was nice.“
“Vegetarian options: You can get pupsas, empanadas, and platanos fritos. Pupsas have veggie options and if you've never had a Salvadorean empanada before, it's like a savory hot pocket of deliciousness. Cash only and easy on the wallet!
Kid-friendliness: It's a food stand outside, and by the gas station so easy to pick up on your way home.
Wheelchair accessibility: It's an outdoor food stand, so the sidewalk is accessible.“

“Just one detail that I want you to be able to correct is the tanning that you can grind the marjoram a little because it has some very long twigs and one of those sticks got stuck in my throat and I couldn't get it out until with the help I took it out with some tweezers. I hope you pay attention to this detail.“
