“What a treat this place was. The owner (Sal) was nothing but humble and generous. Kind to his customers and made us the meanest pastrami sandwich (The K Line) and Tri tip sandwich ( The M Line) I ever had the pleasure to experience. Truly delicious. It proves the point that San Francisco has one of the best sandwich cultures in the country. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you Sal! This was truly a treat!“

“Stopped by on a whim for a quick lunch to-go after a trip to Costco. Got an Italiano sandwich with garlic sauce. It was very fresh tasting and LOADED with meat! I could barely get my mouth around it. It was so big, I saved half for lunch tomorrow. Excellent tasting and a great bargain!“

I was going through a stressful situation as my flight at San Francisco Airport was disrupted and I had been given hotel and meal vouchers. Roma Deli accepted the meal vouchers without any hassle, which I really appreciated.

“9.1/10 tri tip sandwich

For a lil store selling Boars Head sandwiches, this place is pretty solid. The tri tip sandwich smacks and for $16 it's priced just about right. Other sandwiches are priced lower depending on what you get

Whenever I go I always get everything in it like peppers, tomatoes, pickles, pepperchini, etc. Everything is pretty fresh

If you go here for lunch dont go at standard lunch times like 11-12 otherwise you might be waiting in line because it's a popular spot.

“They make the best sandwiches here. I love getting either the Breakfast Burrito or the Breakfast sandwich on the way to work. The people who make my food are very nice. I love the turkey sandwich the most. My husband loves the Always Thanksgiving sandwich. They also have a great selection of fresh breads. My favorite is the Dutch Crunch.“

“Prima Deli is now my goto deli in the area. Their tri-tip sandwiches is one of the best that I have ever had. They cook it in house and use the deli slicer to cut the tri tip, so it is never chewy and always tastes great. The staff is friendly and efficient and there is plenty of seating. “The breakfast burrito here is genuinely excellent. I went for the sausage this time, with the chorizo firmly on my list for tomorrow. What impressed me most was how well it held up on the walk home, still piping hot after 30 minutes, cheese perfectly melted throughout. The balance is spot on too; not overly loaded with potato, which lets the other flavours shine.

The salsa that comes with it is a standout in its own right, and the tortilla deserves a mention also, warm, flaky, and clearly fresh, whether they make them in house or not. Brilliant value all round.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ Highly recommended!“

“We recently ate here during our vacation in Pacifica. I actually heard of the restaurant from a tiktok video. We ordered the steak sandwhich and they were delicious!! The meat was so tender and juicy 🤤. I ordered mine with light onion and mayo and it was just perfect! It was a nice chill spit to grab lunch. “Thanksgiving 2025 went to pick up ham the day before Thanksgiving at 7:30AM. As expected there was a brief line, although early and some confusion about the line, even though there was only one line. I remember the employee from last year (when I made the mistake of picking up the ham day before Thanksgiving at 5:30PM never again). An employee came out (older black man with pretty green eyes) and was doing his best to announce the difference of lines pre-paid versus reservation/non pre-paid. What can I say, people just don’t listen but he came out periodically to ensure any new customers in the line knew which line. The wait was about 15min in the pre-paid line to pick up ham. The staff allowed me to pick up 2 sweet 12-ct Hawaiian roll bags. The ham was gooooddddd!!!!“
