Turkish Restaurants near Burlingame, CA

“I decided to give it a try because Mediterranean. There are too many Italian and Asian places and I wanted something different.
Gives an I glad I did !

They have a great menu choice and although I don't remember the name of my dish it was lamb and it was amazing. Perfect temperature, amazing flavor, the rice was spot on and the salad crunchy and fresh.
I am not sure what stressing they used but I could drink that by itself, it was amazing. The lady who served me had a smile on her face and was super polite. The bread I got with my order was delicious.

I am absolutely coming back here and I will drag everybody here who asks me where to eat.

Next time I want to try their pizza so watch for that.

A really great place, I can only recommend it.

Kofta Kebap Plate.... I just returned from Sydney where I got to try and enjoy all sorts of meals so it was my desire to stop by Med. P&G for a Kofta Kebab plate.. and I am so glad I did.
The best was tender and flavorful, the gentle lemon dressing on the crisp salad was incredible, the rice really really good and the bread... I have no words.

“Another great place for Mediterranean cravings. Their gyros kebab wrap are pretty good as well. Their kebab, lamb shank are full of great flavors. This place is pretty neat and well cleaned as well as the crew is always on top of their toes to clean used tables. Not that loud and the vibe in this place is pretty welcoming. The down side which is only a suggestion for the staff to add some smile in their services other than that i highly recommend this place.“

“Really enjoyed Nomadic Kitchen in San Mateo! They feature a streamlined menu focused on heavy-hitting entrees and appetizers, which makes ordering easy because everything they do, they do right.

The hummus plate is an absolute must-have. It features incredibly creamy, delicious hummus topped with vibrant cabbage and pomegranate seeds. It is surrounded by a beautiful ring of rich, colorful sauces, dips, and pickles that pair perfectly with the basket of warm, homemade bread.

For the main course, the chicken kebab was a total hit. The chicken breast cubes are perfectly charred and incredibly tender. What really sets Nomadic Kitchen over the top is their beautiful plating and generous side options. The entree comes out beautifully arranged on a sleek black platter, complete with a fresh salad topped with pickled cabbage, a side of seasoned bulgur wheat, and a side of fluffy white rice. Having both rice options on one plate is a fantastic touch.

If the weather is nice, I highly recommend sitting out on the patio area to enjoy the beautiful San Mateo sun. The service was completely solid, friendly and fairly quick, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. I will definitely be back.“

“Been meaning to try Zaza. Every time we went to the Green Enchilada, we would walk by it. So today, we tried it. We ordered to share: French Fries. Hubby ordered Chicken Pita meal, and I ordered Beef Kebab meal. To drink, we each ordered, Turkish coffee ( strong and bitter),Turkish tea ( light) and coke. My favorite part was the rice and salad, well aside from the beef. Beef was tasty. Honey’s chicken was ok. Not too dry. But it would be less dry if they had some sauce. Like me, he loved the rice. We would definitely go back especially since the service was awesome.“

“We ordered the house combo and it was very tasty. It came with 4 meats(chicken,beef,gyro ,koftedes). All of the meat was juicy,tender and well seasoned. The rice. was fluffy ans delicious. The mixed green salad had tomatoes amd cucumber and was topped with a pickled cabbage and dressed to perfection. I only had a small bite of the pita because rhe meal was so filling. I can't wait to try the baklava we ordered. What a great find. I will definitely be going back to this restaurant.“
