“In case there is a problem with parking, it may be beneficial to choose an in-flight dinner. The place is a little small but cute. The day we went, the weather was very cool and there was no free space for the parts. Staff are trying hard to protect us from the cold. Finally, space was made available from inside. The food was delicious. After traveling from Ankara to the other side of the world, it was very good to still find familiar flavors and see familiar faces. “Located in the Presidio, Dalida has THE BEST pita bread ever! Trust me, you'll want to order an extra to enjoy with the hummus that comes with the dish "breaking bread". Dalida expertly cooks their lamb, I highly recommend ordering the lamb shoulder. Another dish that I also enjoyed was the octopus, which is plated artfully. One dish that didn't meet my expectations was the chicken. I was hard to cut and wasn't cooked throughly. Our waitress was super gracious and took the chicken back and had the kitchen fire up a new one, which was also just meh. Give this place a try, I'd just not order the chicken. Parking is fairly easy and there's outdoor dining for those rare non freezing cold SF days.“

“Locoum and other desserts appear in the front window to entice you in. There is a cute exterior seating space and the indoor seating feels clean and welcoming with a spacious feel. The service was a bit low-staffed but they were very friendly, efficient and responsive so we were able to complete our lunch within the 1 hour window. Everything except the falafel salad was 4-5 stars. Good value for money on the starters.“

“We used to eat dinner here on our way to Davies Symphony Hall 15 years ago. We moved away and just came back this week for a mini vacation. We took a chance today and it was as delicious as ever. We had the chicken kebab plate and the lamb kebab plate and 2 cans of soda for $48. What a bargain. The food is fresh, healthy and plentiful. The flavors are wonderful and the service is very good. It’s clean and neat inside—truly a little gem.“

“I had an amazing experience here! I unexpectedly stopped by here and went in for breakfast around 1:30pm. The owner was sitting table next to me so even they weren’t serving breakfast anymore he heard me ask and he told them to make me breakfast. I appreciated it so much. I ate avocado toast and iced latte and it was yummy. Shout out to the owner for making my day better ?“

“I had the Street Style Beef and Lamb Gyro Wrap and it was very good. This was surprising because I walked it quite a ways before sitting down to eat, so it was getting cold and looked kind of small. No! It had big meaty flavor and a great (full fat) yogurt sauce. It's very satisfying and an excellent price for San Francisco. The service was kind and professional (I always giggle when strangers call me boss). The neighborhood isn't the best of course, but the inside is light, bright, and new with a good amount of seating so next time I'll probably just eat there. A solid addition to the local food options!“

“Our experience was marred because of a large table of very loud young men. It was difficult to have a conversation. I wish people would be more considerate, and realize that there are other people in a restaurant. Otherwise, the food and service was very good. I have been coming to this restaurant for years and was happy to see some new choices on the menu. “

“I took my friend from France there this evening and we absolutely loved it. The authenticity of their Turkish dishes, their service, friendliness of the staff, the künefe and brewed Turkish black tea were all perfect. We took the Combo grill together with the combo sides since I wanted my friend to taste a bit of as many different dishes as possible. It was more than enough for two people. All were great. The beef and lamb döner and skewers were especially to write home. Ezme turned out to be our favorite. They also serve şalgam which my friend loved a lot. Künefe and pot brewed real Turkish tea were the perfect choices to finish with.Next time I will try some of their oven baked dishes like lahmacun and pides.Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food and service.Vegetarian options: Most of the pides would be naturally vegetarian. Some sides/appetizers are absolutely vegetarian.“

“Living in the Sierra foothills, I don't get much opportunity for Mediterranean food so was craving it this SF evening. When I walked into NB Gyros, I smelled that unmistakable but unfortettable aroma of grilled meat so I ordered their grill sampler. I also ordered an appetizer of baba ganoush and a cold Stella Artois. The baba ganoush arrived quickly and I devoured it. I'm no expert but this was so delicious and I wanted more. Next, the grilled sampler came and I was amazed at how much food was included. There were two varieties of chicken, beef, kofte, and lamb, rice, salad and pita. All the meats were flavorful and had that delicious char I was looking for. The chicken was a little overcooked and dry but still delicious. I couldn't finish this big platter so was offered a take-away box, which I gladly accepted.I know I'll return because the service was fast and friendly, the atmosphere was open and welcoming and the food was delicious!“

“5 ⭐️from the bottom of my heart ! First i kept my expectations low cause as a Turkish person my taste standards are pretty high especially when it comes to my own cuisine. I tried most of the Mediterranean restaurants in the Bay area but this one is a bomb. Lahmacun's dough is crunchy like as it should be , i got 'to go'their combo kebab which comes with hummus and salad. Even the side dishes are competing the main. Staff is pretty kind. I am definitely coming back for more!“
