“This place is absolutely delicious! My wife I recently moved to Yucaipa and the Haus Bistro is about 3 minutes down the street from us. We had a spontaneous date night and walked in around 6pm on Saturday and the place wasnt busy at all. The beers they have here are totally unique and great tasting too. They also have a sugar spice rim that goes great with the Golden Monkey Ale and the Chai Cider Ale. We started with with Mac Balls and Portobello Fries, which could be a meal in itself, and I had the Cattlemen burger which was so juicy and flavorful and the wife had the smoothered chicken special with cheesy polenta. Everything was perfect and packed full of flavor. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Very chill vibe and great music. Highly recommend the Haus Bistro for a nice and chill date night or family dinner.“

“We just came from having breakfast at the Kafe Royale. We have been coming here for many years. Everything was ok but we had the most nasty waitress. From when we were seated, she had the worst attitude. Very lazy stout woman, very flippant. I never post reviews, but, I was so upset. Maybe management will go through the reviews. Although she was not wearing a name tag. She was a large heavyset woman with her hair in a bun, her station was on the left side as soon as you walk in. My husband and I both have trouble walking and use canes. We have always given the waitress our bill to bring up for payment. This time after giving her our bill as she returned to the register she said loud enough for us to hear" Well you always have the option to pay your bill yourself" I felt so embarrassed . I did however, tell her I thought that was very rude.“

“This was not a planned outing my husband and I sometimes choose places to eat randomly I saw that this place was close to home so we went to check it out and I'd have to say we were pleasantly pleased the BBQ pulled pork sandwich was served on a brioche bread which was just fabulous my husband enjoyed the BBQ chicken sandwich we shared a small side of potatoe salad it is small but the sandwiches were filling and the pulled pork meat portion was very generous and filling so had the size been larger we may not have finished it we were very happy with our choice that Sunday afternoon and we also had a live band singing while we ate they were great vocalist and some of the songs brought back some childhood memories very nostalgic. 😊👍“

“I've been here twice. Reuben with onion straws was a hit. Had a Denver Omelet, added cheese cause it doesn't come with cheese. It was good. Biscuits and gravy was so/so. Service was good and friendly. Pecan pie was also good. Portion sizes excellent. Menu not overwhelming, with good variety. Not the warmest environment, but very clean. Counter dining available. Prices not outrageous, but not cheap either. Will return to try something new because I felt welcome.“

“We brought two friends to us to dinner. They loved it: we enjoyed a lucious flatbread and bacon wrapped asparagus for appetizers. Our meals were the pork chop on top of a polenta/ truffles bed. Also the pasta and sliders. The wine was a Cabernet from Sinegal Winery in Napa. It was fun chattering some with owners Jake and Suzanne. Gabby and team provided excellent service.“

“Zach was our waiter and he was great! He was kind and treated us like royalty! He was so busy but kept a professional attitude! He is a hard worker and was back and forth and they were short staffed but he kept his great demeanor. I would recommend him as a great waiter to anyone. I think it’s sad that they don’t have enough staff and then leave it in the staff to hold up the business“

“Excellent experience at Tartan of Redlands. Had reservations for four and we were treated very well from the first greeting until we left. Steaks we ordered were prepared as ordered for all and were well seasoned and tasty. Good sized portions. Our waitress was very attentive and accommodating. We were celebrating a 50 year wedding anniversary and the waitress really made the night very enjoyable for all of us. We traveled 70 miles for this dinner and will return for the hospitality and food.“

“We went tonight for dinner. The place was hopping. It is seat yourself bar type restaurant. The music was a bit loud for us, but okay. We have been many times. Our meals were fantastic. The waitress were busy and ours definitely made us feel welcome. We definitely recommend this restaurant. My pork ribs were delicious!“

“This place was quite a surprise! The style and decor is fun and makes you feel like you've entered a different time. We attended earlier in the day and there were more people dining and at the bar then I thought there would be. Although it didn't seem like the best place for a one year old, he seemed to enjoy looking around at everything and he ate everything that he came across. The good was delicious and the specials were incredible. I actually can't wait to go back.“

There was a gentleman too that served our larger group and they raved about him and their food as well. I didn’t get any food pics though.🤦🏾‍♀️ We had a large party at a few tables and she never missed a beat! 🥰 Patient and friendly the entire night. I had the impossible burger and it was perfect! “Dickeys Barbecue Pit Restaurant located in Yucaipa California is a great place to get your favorite smoked chicken,beef,pork,ribs and more! They smoke their meats on premises and the portions are very generous! We had the brisket sandwich with onions,pickles all on a fresh steamy bun! Super fresh and tasty! The serve yourself soft serve ice cream really finished a great barbeque meal!“

I did appreciate the surprise ice cream for the occasion, though! Very kind by the restaurant. But one thing I was sort of surprised by was the service. It felt like the hosts were a lot more welcoming and friendly than our server. Our hosts smiled, sparked conversation, and made sure we were settled. But our server felt like she was doing the bare minimum, taking our order, checking in, giving us our check, and not much more. There was little to no friendliness or conversation. I've seen more hospitality at restaurants that don't even have servers and hosts. Not tryna leave a 1 star review, but definitely was expecting more from the service and food overall.“

I didn't like the fact that the bar was in the middle of the building right with the tables because the people there were loud, but that's my only gripe.“
