Popped in after walking from town to see the geyser. Even though they were not yet open for tours, Stephanie and Emillio (and the pups Stella and Bentley) welcomed us. We enjoyed a wonderful few hours by the vineyard sampling their great wines. We can't wait to receive our purchases from their wine club and reminisce over our visit.
love love love!!! Decided to do a day trip to calistoga with the boyfriend for wine and hot springs! Since it's definitely not peak season and it was a tuesday, tedeschi winery was quiet and it felt like a private tour/tasting! Tour: We were with emilio and wow does he know his stuff. He answered all of my many questions and explained the entire wine making process super well so it was understandable. On a whim, my husband and I decided to take a trip up to wine country. Now let me begin by saying that on every previous trip up this way we have always been underwhelmed. Tedeschi Family Winery changed all of that for us! Ashley greeted us warmly and proceeded to wow us with both her knowledge and the wines she put in front of us.
