“They aren't kidding that this is a "local favorite". Everything we ordered was delicious and they were quite accommodating about me bringing my own, local wine. They also have an impressive business model worthy of support! I'm going back here next week! <3“

“A true 5 star experience! Rooms are very comfortable, location is perfect, and the staff are wonderful! Only suggestion would be to add a place to hang clothes, and put a tv in each room. Price is affordable for the area. Don’t be afraid of the shared bathrooms. Toilets and showers are completely private and there is a sink in each room. Highly recommended. Listing says breakfast is free. That is incorrect. However, they do offer free coffee and scones in the lobby. Check out Cafe Sarafornia for breakfast. You won’t be disappointed! Four minute walk from hotel.“

“Cute little ice cream shop in the heart of town. Best chocolate chip ice cream I’ve ever had in my life with large chocolate chips as opposed to the tiny little ones that most shops have. Several unique flavors as well and the only place I’ve ever seen that has a spiced waffle cone, which smells delightful and tastes delicious.“

“The food was amazing. We got a variety of items and everything was sooo good. However, the server had a bit of an attitude which tainted the experience, which was supposed to be a celebratory meal for our group.“

“Hands down, the best restaurant in calistoga! The best food we had in the area by far and away and the only restaurant we went to where the people were nice to us and seemed happy to have us there. We ate there twice and ordered a variety of dishes, nothing disappointed!“

“This place is a hidden gem!! The closest Chinese food plus delicious food near for college students. I come here often with friends for dine in or also takeout. The staff is always friendly and helpful! They accept Apple Pay as well! It is a small space but that’s not really an issue for me.“

“We had a wonderful dinner there. Great menu, good wine selection, wonderful service. We shared arancini balls for an appetizer, a fantastic Napa salad with candied walnuts, apples and blue cheese, and then a Thai chicken pizza. We would get each one of these items a second time! It is our understanding they reopened with a new menu in March 2025. We were here in June and the menu is great. Definitely would recommend Palisades Eatery.“

“Hi!!!
OG green Chile kitchen girl here. I lived off Laguna and Grove and frequently went to GCK bc I am from El Paso, Tx. You can’t find New Mexican food anywhere in NorCal so when I found out you opened this I was so excited, especially bc I now live in Santa Rosa. I was so excited. Had the green chile stew. As good as I remembered it! Loved the enchiladas. It was great! Will you ever bring back the stuffed green chile and Sopaipillas? You can’t find a real sopaipillas w honey anywhere in NorCal. Please do! Thank you so much!! Service was fantastic too :) we dined in and I took no pictures bc I just wanted to eat 😋“

“Solbar is a beautiful spot tucked into Napa Valley perfect for a relaxing, elevated lunch in between wine tastings. The setting is calm and peaceful, which we really appreciated. You could actually hear each other talk which is rare and refreshing these days.
I popped in with two girlfriends for a late lunch, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Our server was warm, attentive, and helpful with the menu. We ordered a variety of dishes to share: the lettuce wraps were fresh and flavorful, the sourdough rolls with spinach dip hit the spot, and the fish tacos were light and delicious. We also shared drinks and the “Lite Lunch,” which was a fun way to sample a few things.
The only miss unfortunately a big one were the Solbar Nuggets. They came out overly greasy and just weren’t edible. None of us could get through them, and that was disappointing, especially at this price point. What left an even worse taste in our mouths (no pun intended) was that our server acknowledged the issue and wanted to comp them, but management refused. For a nearly $200 lunch, that lack of flexibility felt out of step with the rest of the experience.
Great service, beautiful setting, mostly solid food but that one moment really stuck us.“
