“Our first time at Yuki and I was honestly impressed. We came in 45min before closing for a last minute dinner. Instead of driving down the hill to the bigger name sushi restaurant we thought we would give Yuki a try and the staff greeted us with open arms. The sushi was tasty, the prices were great, the waitress was friendly and we will be coming back. Hopefully a lot earlier than right before they close.”

“I tried tacos here yesterday and they were absolutely delicious! Authentic, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. I had the 4 taco option. I think they are the best tacos that I've had in the Placerville/Cameron Park area. I haven't tried every restaurant, but needless to say, I was very impressed.
The chips did not taste homemade but the green (my fav) and red salsa were appropriately spicy and good.
I ordered a side of beans just to taste since it was my first time there. They tasted homemade, but didn't have the flavor that I really like.
Still, the tacos are among the best that I have had anywhere in my area. The other taqueria that I like a lot is Taqueria Tepa in Palmer square (better beans and chips). I expect the Valenz Mexican Kitchen will only get better as they get further established!”

“It truly is the very best pizza I have ever had. I’m 64 and have worked at 2 different pizza places, and have consumed many, many pizzas in my day! I recommend the Rubicon or if you’re cool with pineapple on pizza their “Hawaiian” pizza is a 12 out of 10. Seriously, the best pizza of my life.”

Its hard to find a carniceria around this area and even harder to find good carne asada. I discovered this place on a whim and I am so glad I did. I purchased marinated flank steak to bbq at home and OMG, the quality of meat and their marinade is chef's kiss! We purchased a few of their pastries and was highly impressed, the concha's were soft and fresh and horejas crisp and delicious. These pastries were so good that my mom went back the next day and purchased a whole dozen of their pastries.”

“An absolute gem!!! I was greeted immediately upon entering. The space was warm, with a mix of funky from the amazing one-of-a-kind mural to the artistically written menu. It felt classy...... inviting. The music was at the perfect level to enjoy, yet still be engaged in conversation. I ordered "Blood on the tracks " YUMMMMY IPA!!! ? It is definitely one of my go to places from now on. A for sure spot to stop and check out!”

“This place is fantastic! I tried the Chicken Pesto panini and my husband tried the Chicken Jalapeño sandwich. Those sandwiches were SO good! I went back a few weeks later and tried their Asian Chicken Salad and I wasn't a huge fan of it. This salad includes chunks of chicken which made them very chewy. However, if they shredded the chicken then I think it would have a better taste and texture. Also, the salad doesn't include mandarin oranges, which was a bummer for me. Their sandwiches though, they are amazing!! I will definitely go back for those!!”

“What a great little neighborhood Watering Hole. Their food and sandwiches are great and they have dozens of options. The staff is always polite professional and quick!
