“A great place to grab breakfast. Big menu full of breakfast options. The meat options included options from different cuisines like chorizo, linguica, and corned beef, etc. The portions were hearty and everything was seasoned and cooked well. The waiter was very attentive and friendly.“
“Our Waiter was obnoxious. He did not get my order correct. He acted like he could care less and did not want to be at work. Never followed up with how things were, and did we need anything more. Also, offered no help on mock cocktails, saying none are offered. I find that very hard to believe. I should not have left a tip but I did.“
“On the outside it looks small when you see it in your inside it's pretty roomy, The food is delicious. I recommend the Southwest omelet with chorizo. The Belgian waffles are absolutely amazing. Fluffy and light.Parking: Parking lot behind building,“
“A fast paced, comforting cafe. Pro-TIP - Sit at the counter for parties of 1 or 2 and skip the waitlist Service: Fast - almost immediate, kind Food: The food came out so fast! It was definitely appreciated. I ordered the Protein Scramble ($18.50) with avocado ($2.50) and a side of fruit and sourdough toast that comes pre buttered. Overall, it hit the spot for my Sunday breakfast, and I was able to take some home for my Sunday snack. Plus: they have healthy, protein focused options, and they have a section for half meals at discounted prices (e.g. half a serving off an eggs benedict for $13). Drinks: Extensive mimosa, michelada, and alcoholic coffee options! My friend ordered the Hazlenut Mocha with Baileys and whipped cream - deliciously dense and that little twist of a taste from the liqueur.“
“The ambiance and service here is top notch and we really enjoyed our meal. Unfortunately the food was just a little bland and the Chorizo Benedict tasted much more like a tomato sauce than chorizo but the chilaquiles were very good. The drink menu was the best part with great bloody Marys and non alcoholic options.“
“Loved it food is 10-20 bucks per dish a little bit more money but it's worth it love this place am definitely going here for the 4th timeParking: 10-20 spots nearbyKid-friendliness: They allow kids and give them compliments and are nice to customers and kids“
“We went to Toast Cafe recently for the first time to try a new brunch spot and I’m so glad we did! We joined the waitlist and our table was ready shortly after. We sat in the patio area which was surrounded with lovely flowers and heat lamps. It was such a beautiful ambiance. The food, drinks, and customer service were amazing! Our server was friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. Our food came out fast and was delicious. We will definitely be back. My family and I highly recommend this place!“
“A charming breakfast spot with a hint of southwestern charm, this small hole-in-the-wall kitchen offers a variety of egg dishes, some with their own unique twist. Popular options include the New York style Benedict and Jalisco scramble. The service can be a bit slow due to the bustling atmosphere (no room to wait inside, really). Despite the crowded and noisy setting, the staff are doing their best to ensure a pleasant dining experience. As for drinks, I prefer to stick with a comforting cup of hot coffee in the morning. The only thing is for some, the price can be a little higher.“
“I had the mini eggs Benedict and a decaf coffee. It was good and hot when I got it. It was the perfect amount of food and I didn't feel like I was breaking the bank. The service was great, always there at the right time. We sat in the perfect spot where it felt like we were the only ones there even though we were right by the door.Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs“
“Service is attentive. Food is really good. I ordered an egg salad sandwich today because I was in a hurry and needed something quick. I stopped by Tower Cafe to grab a sandwich because it's close by and I've never been.Menu is mounted high above the counter in colorful boards easy to read. I ordered an egg salad sandwich with pickles on rye bread. They made it to order so you can customize how you want. On top of that, they toast the slice breads so it is crunchy every bite.I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely come back again. Right now, they have an offer of 1 free soda with a sandwich order if you check in on Yelp.“
“A whole list of bloody mary to pick from, I picked the Burbank, which is properly vanished with all the expected ingredients. Had to add a bit of Tabasco to make it perfect. The breakfast portion is huge and tasty. One of the must go breakfast brunch places in San Jose. Go just for the bloody mary. It's a nice full meal!“
“Came for lunch with a group. Was pleasantly in uniquely surprised for what this place has in store. When you approach the entrance it seems lackluster until you walk through the alley and it opens up into a full-on restaurant and bar. The owner's concept and design is a bit mesmerizing and makes it feel like an oasis in an urban setting. Plenty of items to pick from on the menu, it was taco Tuesday so I had to get one taco of each meat and wash it down with an agua fresca. This is a restaurant you do not want to miss out on in San Jose, great meat, great service, amicable staff. Parking can be a little rough to find but definitely worth it.“
“Excellent establishment food is fantastic parking plenty of it during the week during the weekend might be difficult to find but the food makes up for it I don't mind walking a couple blocks up excellent atmosphere it's kind of away from the hood rats fantastic “
“First time we went to Hobee's, it is somewhat comparable to Dennys but there quality is much better. The food and service was excellent, I had the California style omelette and guava Juice both were awesome tasting. The servers were a little slow but nothing to worry about. The atmosphere was like of any other diner place.“
“Cowboy skillet and Chicken and waffles. Cowboy skillet is made fresh with fresh tomatoes, jalapenos and onions. Chorizo is excellent has some spice to it. Tomato dices are a bit on the big side. Overall Delicous. Chicken and Waffles are okay, waffle taste on the bland side and fried chicken could be seasoned better. Overall good.“
“It was my first time here since new ownership, I wasn't even aware the restaurant had changed from Benedicts. Alot of the menu is the same with some new additions. The food was wonderful and so was the service! Can't wait to come back & try more things on the menu!“
“First time at K's Café. I like how all the menu items are named after professional sports teams, although that makes me not want to order the Dodgers dish, haha. I devoured a delicious crepe stuffed with vegetables called Arsenal. It was pretty quiet inside when we arrived around 12pm on a Thursday. We could talk quietly even with a table of seven women chatting animatedly by the door. However, it became very noisy and crowded when a large number of students arrived from the high school across the street. I would avoid the school rush hour in the future. Prices were pretty high, but what else is new these days. Wheelchair access was good with space in the main walkway. We were able to choose a table at the end so there was enough room to maneuver the wheelchair. I forgot to take a photo of my meal before I started eating. My tastebuds were happy and my stomach was full when we left.“
“Everyone was super friendly, the food was very delicious, the price was excellent (there is “the half breakfast” on the menu, which is a series of breakfasts but in half portions which is great if you are on a diet or have little appetite) and plus, Almost everyone speaks Spanish and English ❤️ I particularly love this one in Alameda because the waiting time is quite short. P.S. By the way… (the Tri Tip Steak Benedictines are ufffff and they say that the Huevos Rancheros too)Parking: Easy access in the same location and if it is full, the street is also a good option“
“Home run for my gluten free family. I have two family members with celiac and neither got sick off the GF waffles and other items. Super thankful for their carefulness with our dietary concerns.Dietary restrictions: My family who is GF and no one got sick.“
