We sat on outside patio. After a long drive from San Francisco it was a great stop. First time here and I would definitely recommend!“

“Fantastic Brews and BBQ – A Must-Visit in Carlsbad
Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.
The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

“The Oysters Rockefeller were fantastic along with the shrimp and crab-stuffed avocado. If you enjoy British-style fish and chips with malt vinegar, you’re in for a jolly good treat. The spectacular sunset view from the heated patio is paired with warm and friendly service that will brighten your evening“

“Wonderful atmosphere, the food was excellent ?. The service however, was outstanding. We were all laughing and enjoying the wonderful staff. They really made us feel like family. It was my first enjoyable moment of my trip. Just a little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant,but it's an overall great experience. I would come back to California just to go there.“

“Place gets packed, so be patient. It's worth it.
Drinks are great, i like old fashions and different craft brews. They have a huge bar and large variety of drinks.
Server Kirsten and bartender Gabby do a great job. Food is consistent, drinks recommended are amazing from both.
Food is always high quality even if it's busy. And it's always service with a smile.“

“Better than some other bars where you have to mess about with credit cards, pay later, &c. Friendly bar staff. Decent pinot noir. Classic rock on the sound system: like most of Southern California, they haven’t progressed past the early 1970s, so much of the music is 50 years old!! Warning: not a drinker’s bar. Locals sip on kombucha while you’re sitting there getting slaughtered.“

“When we walked into the restaurant for dinner, it was freezing! We heard 2 other families complain as well. We had to ask to ask about 3 times to turn down the air, but eventually, we ended up getting our sweaters from the room and asked to move tables to an area that seemed warmer. The food was good (not great), and the drinks were delicious. The best part was the kid entertainment by the front entrance. They have a huge Lego pit and the kids enjoyed being creative in there after they finished their meals. Overall, thumbs up!“
