“This place gets great reviews and they are well deserved.
Food was outstanding, Marcos was an outstanding server with super recommendations. No rush, very relaxed service and general atmosphere. Live music was a plus, but a little too loud.
Go there. You will not be disappointed. Ask for Marcos for superior service.“

The place is nicely decorated, the most beautiful food I have been to. Everything we tried was excellent, cannot recommend highly enough.
The roti and curry is delicious and a must try. Soups are nice and perfect for winter nights.“

“We both ended up finding and choosing the same thing... Stuffed avocado. Super A1C friendly and absolutely delicious. My favorite meal of the whole trip. I added a side of seasonal vegetables that was massively overpriced but fresh crunchy and not overcooked.“

“Service is always great!! But our server(sadly, I forgot her name) tonight was wonderful. Helpful, kind, and extremely patient with our 7 year old grandson talking her ear off, haha. I didn't like my kale salad and she was very quick to offer me a new salad.“

Burgeon Brewery has set the bar high for craft beer in Carlsbad. We stopped by on a recommendation and were blown away by their IPA selection. The DDH Juice Press was so good we brought cans home! Other standouts in our flight included Turtle Power, Treevana, and Cloud Chaser—all bursting with flavor.
The brewery’s relaxed atmosphere paired with BBQ from the Thumbs Up Food Truck made our visit memorable. The brisket with spicy sauce was smoky perfection and matched the beers beautifully. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is a true gem.“

“I come here at least once a week for fajitas, tacos and/or drinks. But it’s not only the delicious food or drinks that have me returning but their exceptional bartender, Gretta. She takes it upon herself to go the extra miles for not only her restaurant but her customers. She is a diamond in the rough and the perfect embodiment of a fun loving So Cal gal. “Better than some other bars where you have to mess about with credit cards, pay later, &c. Friendly bar staff. Decent pinot noir. Classic rock on the sound system: like most of Southern California, they haven’t progressed past the early 1970s, so much of the music is 50 years old!! Warning: not a drinker’s bar. Locals sip on kombucha while you’re sitting there getting slaughtered.“

“Pleasantly surprised at how good it was. I am usually picky but the vibe was good, all my food (breakfast, lunches, dinners) were tasty and had healthy options. The kids loved it. I have stayed at a lot of amusement parks and their hotels and this was my favourite.“
