“Great pizzas and great atmosphere! Love me some Pizza Port & so should you“
“They already have great beer and now they have wine, guest beers, AND delicious sandwiches?! I have enjoyed multiple sandwiches and each one is a generous serving that satisfies all your cravings. Just like the beer, the recipes are tried and true! It is a casual atmosphere with friendly staff and patrons. The bathrooms are clean as well.
Vegetarian options: They have a great caprese sandwich and I hear there is a vegan option coming soon!
Parking: Open parking…there is never an issue
Kid-friendliness: Well-behaved kids are welcome. There is an outdoor patio and many options for table games.“
“One of our favorite breweries hands down!“
“What a great experience.. great beer and an awesome place.. for sure will be backs and will bring friends with me.. cheers 🍻“
“Sweet little local brewery with excellent product. Great outdoor space. The guys behind the counter are brewers, owners or both, so an informed choice of brew is easy. Wine tasting & food on weekends.“

“? ? ? Great vibes, lots of bar seating, TVs to watch the game, and a great happy hour menu from 3-6. I like the IPA and the Mango wheat beer. They have plenty of food options with a good burger and fried chicken sandwich.
There’s a small parking lot if you take the first left after passing Prey Brewing.“
“Outstanding bar and grill!!“

“Smallish restaurant with tiny parking lot of about 10 spots shared between 3 businesses. Like the roll up garage door windows, lots of outdoor picnic bench seating under shade canopies (which we couldn't use on this rainy day). Beer selection is pretty good, we had the meat lovers 12 inch pizza and liked the thin crispy crust, a bit skimpy on the toppings but tasty enough.
Parking: I think 10 spots between 3 (?) businesses in this very small strip mini mall.“
“Went for some beer and food with my husband. The beer was from Barrel and Stave and was great tasting. Had a burger from Baby’s and those were both good too! Definitely coming back“
“I have been sporadically visiting this place since it opened. In fact, I would drive by every so often while it was under construction to see if it was open. I really enjoy their beer and staff. When they opened another spot in downtown Vista, I visited there often. When friends come into town, I make it a pint to take them there.“
“Love this place, try to come once a week. Dog friendly and kid friendly with great staff and great quality food“

“The food is quite good. Recently I’ve been disappointed with two things:
1) their removal of the Ahi Salad, one of my favorites which has been replaced by the Mediterranean Salad (just so-so)
2) the increase in prices since I first started dining here.
Otherwise, it’s a great spot for a burger and brew, to take the family or catch the game. I suspect that its proximity to Legoland is why their prices are so high. You can find similar or higher quality food for more reasonable prices.
For example, any salad here (that includes a protein) is going to be $20-25 which seems really steep. They’re not particularly gourmet im a way that would justify that price.
Pretty much any of their appetizers are $15 or over. Likewise, all of their burgers are $20 or over besides their most basic pub burger which is $17. Steep!
You’re looking at easily spending $100 out the door for two people: drinks, mains and an app. There are a lot of places I can recommend within a 15 minute drive that would either cost less or be better.
Anyways, I do like Karl Strauss. The food is good, the staff is great, you won’t be disappointed but your wallet may hurt. This functionally puts them in the $30-50 pp. range when they should be in the 20-30. Just my .02
Oh, their Mac is to die for. I’d probably come here for a beer and a mac alone.“
