“I am an old bachelor who is a good Cook.
Also I just like to eat simple foods. Once in a while I get a craving, or some night I'm hangry, too tired or sick of my kitchen to prepare food for myself. Drive through at Mac Donald's on Marconi around Mission. I ordered a Dbl. Quarter Pounder with cheese, small fries and an Iced imitation of a mocha. Both the ladies I had contact with were very pleasant and nice. Order was tallied and relayed to me, cash accepted and change counted back perfectly. I donated a small amount to Ronald Mac Donald House, no biggie a dollar I think. But I got a buck and small change back from a $20. Right I try not to whine about it, everything seems to have doubled in price in recent months. I get the Corporate peeps tying to not go broke having to pay the $20 Min. wage.
( I'll bet they are good at pinching hours and understaffing etc.
Yeah I don't think I will have that special meal anytime soon again, while I appreciate a good laxative, $17, $18. is way too much to pay for pink slime, weird veggies, semi warm fries, and a powdered coffee. Once again everything except for the price was above and beyond a fast food restaurant.“
