“This was my first visit to Char market but it certainly won’t be my last. The food was delectable and the staff very welcoming. I had the steak taco plate and on one of my tacos I had bone marrow. It was so good and the sauce they use is better than any I’ve had. I highly recommend that everyone give Char Market a try. You’ll be hooked!“

“This is a colorful little strip mall spot with a great salsa bar and very friendly counter service. The salsa was fresh and there are several varieties to choose from. The wife got her favorite, Camerones a La diabla and the shrimp were clean, and simmered in a rich , red sauce. The rice and beans are perfect!! I had the shrimp taco fish taco plate. The tacos were loaded with a killer slaw, cilantro and onions, and a killer sauce. I was full off one taco but if you know me, you know I finished both. This place is 10/10 and if we lived closer, would be our go to Mexican spot.“

“I fell in love with these for the first time - on the corner of Madison / Oak College (roads), I was there recently - the best. From the car, the girl shouted "I also love Jaсk!". Dare, people love you, but this place on the corner of Manzanta/Marconi (roads): the outside and inside of should be nicer looking.“

“I stumbled across this place because I was craving birria tacos. I got the quesa birria tacos and they were hands down the best I’ve ever had. The restaurant is decorated so nice for Valentines and everything looked super clean. I went there twice within a week and had wonderful experience both times. “Excellent view of cashiers and all different types of bottles of beer. Very authentic Mexican style. Glass top for heating the chips. We ordered our dishes and were able to dine outside in the open air. A couple of families were in there and a couple of patrons. When they brought us the food it was really excellent oh my gosh. Lots of cheese on the beans and excellent cheese enchiladas. I used to live near Mexico and I know how it is supposed to taste.“

“Stop in for the 3 taco plate and I picked the orange salsa and the grilled Serrano peppers as my choice for hot sauce. They did not disappoint at all that was fire. “It's a hole in the wall, but aren't those always the best places to get amazing tacos?I was referred to this restaurant specifically for the fish tacos and they didn't disappoint. The adobado (similar to an al pastor) was also phenomenal.One other important point to make is that in these times of excessive food prices (really everything prices), you can come here for a reasonably priced, extremely yummy meal. “This place has THEE best birria tacos and consome. You’d never believe it’s located in a gas station.The taco shells are dipped in the consome before frying to get that taste and texture. Then they add heaps of beef. And you have to get an order of consome, it’s thick, rich and comes with chunks of beef. It’s practically a beef soup by itself! I really wish this place wasn’t across town from me or I might be visiting a dangerously amount of times. Seriously come here. After having the birria tacos and consome here, I haven’t been able to find another place in Sacramento.The only down side I really don’t like is that blast the music way to loud in there! “My favorite mexican foods in the area. It is a small tiny booth/building & short menu. Love their super burrito & there tacos. Horchata drink is a hit and miss sometime. But today is delicious. Their customer service is always fantastic. Deliver to your car. Lunch rush is when they are open so it does get busy sometime. ?“

“Having stumbled upon Tony's Tacos while out running errands one day, I finally had the opportunity to try their food on a rainy Sunday night. My dad, husband, and I came to Tony's tacos for dinner. The staff were very kind in explaining what some of their most popular items were - with their best seller being their quesabirria. I opted for the quesabirria tacos, which came in an order of three with a side of consommé. My husband ordered the quesabirria burrito while my dad ordered one chicken, one shrimp, and one Carne Asada taco. We all enjoyed the salsa bar - but their salsas do have a kick!The quesabirria tacos were delicious, but I was slightly disappointed by the lack of flavor in the consommé. The tacos by themselves were packed with meat and cheese - the meat was very tender and flavorful. But the consommé left me lacking with no real depth or flavor profile. My dad enjoyed his tacos, and my husband felt that the burrito was tasty, but the way it was assembled had the rice, beans, and meat in entirely different sections, and we're not well integrated.A few minor tweaks, and this could be a five star location for me.“

“The Boneless Yangyum spicy Chicken was very tasty and they give you a big portion for the price. The entree also comes with rice and about six small side dishes. Their Korean menu looks very interesting and will keep me coming back to try new dishes. You should check this place out.“

“Our favorite neighborhood taco spot. The hours are sometimes more of a suggestion that a strict schedule, but service is fast and friendly. My favorites are the tacos de al pastor y buche. My husband also likes their tripas. Their quesadillas are also packed with meat. For those, my daughter loves the carne asada. Their salsas are delicious, especially the avocado one. There's often someone selling aguas frescas or champurrados to round out your meal. Idk how much each taco costs (it doesn't really matter to me though, I love their tacos so much I'll pay whatever they charge me) but this is always an affordable family meal for us. Check it out!“

“Update 2/23/2024I am a little disturbed as they added kiosk order(now forced), however there was an employee liaison assisting people who may have trouble.My outlook on kiosks:*People take this as "Do it yourself as we are either not staffed to do this or other things are more important than you".*I don't see this as service oriented.*Menu is fragmented on a screen and buttons all over which makes it tough to order for most.*McDonald's has kiosks, but nobody uses them.Example: 70+ lady walks up and tries to order. She has issues and has a ton of questions, this takes time. In the meantime you have a line backed up plus another user at the same time, with kiosk issues. Now what you have is a problem. Another one of your employees needs to be brought over to help now. Now everything is backed up.I know what the answer will be from your establishment. " We have backup, we will then take order manually"I get it, less employees brings more money to the budget, but in the long run it will not as service to customers is compromised and a reputation will prevail in the long run.I did kindly ask the manager why kiosks. She replied and we spoke. What dates out to me about that conversation is that her words were "People don't want to work for $20 per hour". Strange comment. Oh well. I have given up going there. “the breakfast burrito was really good and the meat is really well seasoned-- had a small mistake on an order where some meats got swapped around but the young woman that was at the cashier was super accomadating and really nice about it. she solved it pretty quickly and made the whole ordeal a lot easier to manage. sauces arent super spicy but are pretty tasty and the super burritos are decently sized“

“We had them cater a 35th wedding anniversary...the food was outstanding from the street tortilla to the salsa,rice and beans, chicken and asada with all the condiments they included lemons, radishes onions and 3 different kinds of salsa... only thing missing was the Mariachi's“

“Paquitas Mexican Grill recently opened after taking over an old Mexican restaurant and completing a floor to ceiling remodel. They serve up authentic Mexican recipes using the freshest local ingredients. The ambience is awesome with beautiful Mexican themed murals and plenty of cozy places to sit. It is a family run business and the owners were very friendly and inviting. We will definitely return often for drinks and good eats.“

“This is easily the best place to get cheap, quality tacos in Sacramento. The ladies are always very nice and the asada tacos hit the spot every time. My family is originally from Stockton and there were taco trucks just about everywhere. I was very surprised by the lack of food trucks when we moved here. I've tried a good amount of different trucks but nothing seemed to match the flavor I was used to. This is the only truck I'll eat from now! They recently had to raise their prices again, but they've tried to remain very affordable over the years in my opinion.“

“Good food and VERY good service! I must have gotten up 5-6 times asking for things and they never once lost their cool with me. If I had cash on me I would have left a tip!! I got the fried fish and shrimp combo and it was so good. I had to exchange the street corn for beans (which were good) because the corn was too spicy but they didn't get mad they just exchanged it. “Oh, my goodness, I have found heaven. I'm from San Diego and we eat lots of carne asada burritos. My problem is this, most Mexican shops here don't sell carna asada burritos. If you fall into this hole like I did, you are now saved. Not only do they sell carne asada burritos, but they cook everything fresh everyday. They cook their beans early in the morning, they make their salsa fresh everyday. It smells like home and I'm so happy to have found this restaurant. And just in case you need a drive thru, they have it. It's been a year here in Citrus Heights without a carne asada burrito and that's hard when you want good Mexican food. I am one happy girl now.
