“The service was amazing. I went through the drive-thru to order my food (last week on two separate occasions), and both trips were a very positive experience. My order is always a little complex because of my families special diets. However, they got the order right, and I didn't have to explain it over and over. They were fast and friendly. The area is a little sketchy, with lots of questionable characters hanging around outside the building. And even though they may be harmless, it's still uncomfortable. Because of this, I didn't give 5 stars.“

Niko was manning the counter and couldn't have been more helpful and professional, walking me through the menu for the first time. It's the kind of late-night atmosphere where you can make acquaintances with folks inside, or eat on the hood of your car. Real food, real people. Love it.“

“In my opinion, I'd have to give this taco truck a solid 9½. The prices are fair, their tacos are really hefty, and the al pastor is super delicious. Their service is pleasant, and very fast. Delicias Taco truck is in my top 3 best trucks in South Sacramento hands down. Highly recommended to and tourist from out of town.“

“I recently dined at this restaurant and came away with a generally positive impression, though there is definitely room for improvement regarding their sushi portions. Right from the start, the overall atmosphere was great; the entire dining area was spotlessly clean, and the service was consistently good and welcoming.

For my meal, I decided to sample a couple of their signature sushi options. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Kamikaze roll. In terms of construction, both rolls suffered from a bit of an imbalance in their ingredients. The Caterpillar roll was filled mostly with cucumber, leaving only very small, sparse bits of eel inside. Similarly, the Kamikaze roll was packed with too much crunchy cucumber, which slightly overwhelmed the spicy tuna mix.

However, despite the rolls being skimped on fish and overloaded with vegetable filler, the quality of the food was still quite high. Every bite was remarkably fresh, clean, and tasty. The flavors are definitely there, and the kitchen clearly uses good components. If the chefs can balance out the ratios to include a bit more seafood and less cucumber, this place would easily earn a top rating from me.“

The red sauce is very good. The carne asada has amazing seasoning and also has little to no fat. I wish they were closer to Citrus Heights so I could go there more often.“

“One of the hidden gems of in Citrus Heights probably the best tacos in East Sacramento. The tacos have a nice flavor and are very are very fresh. The tacos costed 1.75 the last time went. They also came with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeno on the side. The sauce is also red which is medium hot. There also a liquor to buy the the drinks & snacks you desire.“

“Tacos Taxipuebla is hands down one of my favorite taco spots! They have a food truck that’s open during the day until 5 PM, and then after that, the same people come back and set up a dining area with a grill outside — it’s such a cool setup and gives late-night food vibes.

Their horchata is seriously the best — creamy, sweet, and not watered down at all. The tacos are delicious, the tortillas are soft and flavorful, and everything tastes super fresh. The burritos are big, filling, and totally worth the $9, and the quesadillas are also around $9 and just as good. You can really taste the quality and love they put into their food.

“Randomly stopped here while out on some errands and wanted some lunch. Got 4 Pastor tacos for $11. The meat was perfectly tender and marinated, the tortillas are good and the salsas are great too. Although there are some things I could see people not liking about this place and that is the salsa not being self serve. It doesn’t come in a container, it’s served on the taco. For me it’s the perfect amount of salsa but for people who like to choose how much salsa they get it could be off putting. The atmosphere is great! Very comfortable. You can eat inside or in the outside area. I really like it. It was a great day too. I think I came just after the lunch rush because it was calm when I went.

I got the breakfast burrito special. Only $7.99 +tax is like $8.95 total. It was my taste test item so I could bring my husband later. They label the sauces for you. Tip though: If you know you can’t have spice, don’t get the sauces. None of them. I know I’m not supposed to eat spice because my taste buds can’t handle it. But I love the taste! I got the guac sauce that says “not spicy” and I should’ve known it was a mild spice. I’m gonna pay for it later tonight 😭. But it’s so yummy I just had to! There are no jalapeños in the pick de gallo, so I’m especially grateful to them for that.
