“This is the first time I tried a KFC bowl. It was very good, although I am a fan of their mashed potatoes and gravy. I would recommend if your a fan of the ingredients. I just came back to town after a year, came here just making a small purchase and they hooked it up so good I had to comment. Even had me calling in to thank them for doing so. I’ve said it once I’ll said it again this KFC is the best ran one, hands down best food and service from my experiences in 3 states. Thank you guys.

I got the spicy original wings since it was my first time I got 8 just to see how i would like them and they did not dissappoint. “It was hard to find the restaurant because it was in the back corner of a business complex. It's very easy to miss, but there's plenty of parking at least. Me and 2 friends ordered from the kiosk and waited about 15m for 3 sandwiches and fries. Inside it's quite small with only a table and bar with 4 seats each.

I got the Signature Sandwich with LVL 2 sauce. The sandwich was massive, and the chicken was so thick, incredibly juicy, and perfectly cooked. The breading and cabbage were crunchy too. The mayo was a creamy complement to the chicken without being overpowering. The spicy sauce was served on the side, and it was so deliviously flavorful and not only spicy. My only complaint here is that I wish there was more spicy sauce and that it was spread inside the sandwich, because I kept forgetting to drizzle sauce on between bites and still ran out.

The salt and vinegar fries tasted exactly like the Lay's flavor but with more potato from the fries, of course. Honestly the fries were nothing special but they gave so much that the box was overflowing.

I tried my friend's Kimchi Egg Sandwich too. The ham was pretty forgettable or missable, but the egg was delicious. The egg was incredibly moist, sweet, and delicately salty, and it paired well with the mild acidity of the kimchi.

We chatted with the owner a bit when we picked up our food and she was very sweet and kind. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. I hope more people check this place out, because it's unfortunately very missable in its current location. I'm going to come back but will definitely share a sandwich next time.“

“No seating area. Fried chicken is good. Coleslaw is their own, different. Their rice has diced jalapenos, with a flavor of dirty rice. I like it. The roll is regular, 3rd party purchase, dry, no flavor.

“First time trying Crimson Coward and was a bit hesitant due to the higher than average costs for Hot Chicken... but let me tell you... they're chicken is ON POINT!

The chicken is super tender, fresh, crispy, and best of all - HALAL... the breading is probably the best I've had of all the hot chicken places I've tried. I tried the Medium spice level and it was perfect for me. It had the perfect heat level / kick and with their tasty ranch, it was perfect!

But the best part of my meal here was the excellent service I received from the 2 guys working, Jeremiah and Angel... these guys know how to treat customers, especially when it's your first time. Gave me the perfect recommendation and went above and beyond to make sure my first-time experience was nothing short of amazing. Well done, fellas. Thank you. It will be hard to eat at Dave's after trying this spot. The chicken is chef's kiss 👨‍🍳 🤌💋

The sides are incredible too. The rice has a corn finish to it with perfect taste, no salt needed as it’s seasoned perfectly. I’m not a fan of beans but they’re very similar to my grandmothers (they’re not fried beans). The potato salad is addicting too, it’s really my guilty pleasure and the last thing we run out off. “Good Mexican food shouldn't be expensive; this restaurant isn't. It's a wonderful bargain for food; quality Mexican classics. It's on Pacific Avenue in Downtown Long Beach, walking distance to the Civic Plaza, Billy Jean King Library and courthouse. The downside is that they only accept cash for payment, although there is an ATM inside. They make excellent tacos, burritos, tortas and tostadas. I haven't tried their soups yet. You can order their burritos wet or dry, same price for either, and I never finish one without taking half of it home. Tortilla chips and salsa on the table before the meals, with the salsa being a red spicy sauce. Service is excellent and attentive. Consider getting the Jarritos soft drinks instead of the fountain sodas -- they don't filter the water, so you'll taste the bleach from the tap water used.
There is parking in the back. I love this little place for authentic Mexican food; just remember to bring cash instead of a credit card.“
