“The fact that we felt transported in time with the vibe alone is 5 stars. I got treated to a perfect chilaquiles en mole covered with sunny side up eggs. Side of refried beans and white rice sprinkled with cotija cheese. One word. Phenomenal. Add a chia lemonade, and I'd say I had the perfect breakfast. Second dish was a pozole with a side of pata had to order a second pata it was so good and tender. Radio Joya in the background playing, definitely took us Mexico City in what felt a 70s era. “I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

That is why I booked them for a family party for their catering services. Very professional. They even ask you what your theme is and they try to match it. “i go to college and this food truck was posted just outside my dorm. decided to try it since i’m a big fan of Mexican food and it did not disappoint. Service was super fast even though there was a huge line. the food was absolutely incredible and easily goes in my top 5 best Mexican dishes. i got the perro with no beans and it was amazing. it included a huge homeade flour tortilla, super tender and juicy steak, a whole grilled jalapeño, spicy salsa, guacamole and cilantro and onions. definitely plan on eating here again and would highly recommend if you have the opportunity.“

I've been enjoying their food for years from a their location off of 54th Street and Central where they sell Excellent Tendon Tacos. Now, they have this Brick and Mortar location.
I had the Birria Ramen and a Tendon Taco. Everything was delicious! Will be back again.“
