7 Best Pizza Restaurants near Castro Valley

“My niece and I stopped here by chance. We were driving home to AZ around dinnertime. We were going to go to a BBQ place but had to turn around as we were going in the wrong direction, when my niece spotted this place. I'm always open to pizza, so we decided to give it a try.
For starters, there is very little parking, but we are able to snag a spot. We went in and couldn't agree on one kind of pizza. We noticed that they had mini ten inch pizzas. So that's what we decided to do, and we each ordered our own. I customized the supreme as I don't care for bacon bits or olives. My niece ordered the barbecue chicken. There's just one small table with four chairs to sit at, so we hung out there while our pizzas were being made.
When they informed us the pizza was ready, we went up to the counter. The pizza box was extremely hot and heavy! When we got out into the car and looked at them, they were huge! It's a very generous ten inch pizza!
Due to the lack of space and parking, we tooled across the street to trader, joe's and ate in their parking lot! The pizza was so loaded and so filling that we each could barely finish three pieces from our respective pizza. I'm very glad we had an ice chest in the car! I just enjoyed leftovers heated up in my air fryer.
I would one hundred percent recommend this place! They have a pizza that is about twenty-eight inches around. I noticed the to go boxes, and one was really big! I think that pizza size is the granddaddy! They also have a Mac daddy!
Don't let the location and appearance fool you. Get a pizza from here asap!“

“My Family and I are new to the neighborhood and We often explore.. We ended up at Papa Murphys to bring home some lunch.. We were just there about an hour ago.. The Gentleman that helped us was so nice.. He had no way of knowing that I’m going through a very emotional time right now.. He was the ray to my sunshine ☀️ I left smiling feeling so lite.. I’m now home enjoying Our fresh, delicious , high quality treat with my family 💜 I will be back and I would recommend that all my friends stop by and grab a great lunch or dinner and show some love.. “Don’t sleep on this place! The salad was HUGE and it was only $8. The pizza was delicious and very reasonably priced. We also left with our pick up order with their menu and some coupons for next time’s order. I’m looking forward to trying their chicken wings next!!!“

“They are ready to make your pizza exactly how you like it. Dough and red sauce are a great base for whatever you can think of. Expertly cooked. Tables needed a wipe, but I could tell they were short staff and everyone was pitching in to get orders out. Respect and a wise decision to keep the wait time down. Would go back when visiting the Bay Area again.

My favorite XLR pizza King Arthur's combination was very great tasting and the balance of flavors was perfect in my opinion. It is expensive, But the eating experience is worth the price. And the ingredients they use is top of the line, You can taste the difference compared to other pizzerias.“
