“My family and I visited North Italia on May 25th, (yeah I'm late). We only waited about 15 minutes to be seated, and from that point on, everything was fantastic.

A huge thank you to our server, Nick, who was truly exceptional! Since it was our first time dining here, we asked for his suggestions, and his recommendations for our appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts was absolutely amazing. We were so impressed by his professionalism and attentive service; we couldn't have asked for a better experience.

At the end of our meal, the manager stopped by to check on us, and we made sure to let her know how much we enjoyed the food and how stellar Nick was. She was so appreciative of the feedback that she even gave us a coupon for a free dessert for our next visit. We will definitely be returning soon!“

Most Tuesdays the Queen Mary has an event called Meet Me at the Mary. You must make reservations online. 4-8 pm. Gives you free access to the whole ship, parking is discounted to $10. (you must validate at the bar).

You cannot beat the atmosphere and view. 1930's decor. Live band with singer, playing big band music.

You can self-tour the ship before or after. (Engine room closes at 6pm).

They discontinued happy hour prices November 2025.

Food was great. We had a Flatbread (Queen Mary 3 Stacks, sorry we ate half in the picture) and Grilled Cheese Sandwich with Bistro Chips.

From the red lanterns to the nook style row of chairs by the bar, the entire ambiance mimics the hole in the wall Japanese bars of shinjiku and shibuya. “Sun light hours, this is a neighborhood bar with 50% of patrons being regulars. Staff knows everyone, and it's very welcoming. Come at night if you want a good drink and a loud dive bar. Pool table, golden tee, and they just added 2 dart boards. Live music a few nights a week. Cheap prices here don't mean cheap drinks.“

“My buddies and I stumbled upon this little bar by chance. We were the only “gringos” there, but we were welcomed as if by old friends. They women who tended bar and served us were gracious hosts. “This is the spot if you need a good, cold drink & a chill, old school vibe. I don’t like bars that have windows & Poor Denny’s is old school in that regard. Ever since Ember’s Lounge closed down, this has been my spot. It’s cash only, but there’s a ATM machine there. I love the digital jukebox that allows you to play all kinds of music. The bartenders are always nice & they have wonderful hands on the pours. ? Good vibes & mellow times here.“

“I don’t know if they serve food, don’t really care because it’s a bar so they have all the things I’m looking for. The bartenders are really nice, it’s a great crowd of people that u can feel at ease with and the drinks are delicious. “I am a femme lesbian. I am quiet, tend to just enjoy my alone time and mind my own business. I stopped in here last night because I'm traveling solo and wanted a safe place to hang out around like-minded queer folks. Brought a notebook because I didn't feel like staring at my phone. Disappointingly, I was heckled by a patron who insisted I was straight, didn't belong, and was only there because I wanted attention. They weren't quiet about it. Appeared to be a regular.

The staff were otherwise kind and welcoming. I wish I could give this place 5 stars, but I do feel that general social atmosphere is a pretty major contributor to overall quality/safety, especially in queer-forward spaces.“

Plenty of seating. 7 tables on the side that could seat at least 6 people each and that isnt counting the bar itself! One pool table in front, a darts machine, a punching machine, AMI jukebox and an ATM. Oh, unlike most dive bars, this place takes cards and is not cash only.

Nice pours and a good selection of bottled beers. This is an old school dive bar so don't expect draft beer or blended drinks.

Plenty of parking and clean bathrooms too.

What are you waiting for? Thirsty? Come by and see for yourself. This is the last dive bar in Norwalk. Lets make sure it stays in business.“
