“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“

“Making the most out of this Covid-19 situation for pick-up. Order was secure, exact, and made fresh. They were backed up as when I first got there they were a little short staffed as The Friday Dinner rush was starting, but they kept their cool, their extra hand showed up, and they did well. Just make yourself visible so they got your name assuming you pre-ordered for pick-up. The short wait will not disappoint. And they definitely didn't forget my white sauce - always my biggest fear as it's truly the essence of this place!“

“AMAZING Mediteranean food!! If we lived near here, we would dine at Georgie's often! The steak and chicken kebab as well as the shrimp were perfectly seasoned and cooked! As a delicious accent our family feasted on tasty rice, Mediterranean salad, cucumber yogurt salad, and grape leaf rolls. To top off a wonderful meal, we ordered their walnut baklava...WOW! The staff were kind and patient, very friendly. Don't miss out on this restaurant!“

“Good mediterranean food can be hard to find, so, when visiting California, I’d definitely recommend stopping by this place. Located in an industrial strip mall this small but quaint restaurant is tucked away amongst other businesses, and with no signage above the doors it can easily be missed.

I ordered the salmon kebab with grilled vegetables instead of rice. Chucks of salmon squares served on skewers and separated by grilled vegetables was a visual masterpiece. The salmon was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing as did the grilled vegetables. The dish was served along side hummus, a side salad and pita bread.

I did find the pita bread a little more crisper and flaker than I’m accustomed to and it did lack a bit of flavor. With that said, I throughly enjoyed my meal.

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

“Bright, airy restaurant that is larger inside than appears from outside. Plenty of parking in the shopping center lot, although you may have to walk a bit when all of the eating places are crowded. Typical SoCal ordering set-up with menu board above the order station. Make your choices, pay, find a table, and wait for your order. You can get your self-serve drink and condiments while you're waiting. Service is generally good with some enthusiastic staff. Food is very good. We shared a chicken schwarma plate with hummus and pita. We added on sides of another hummus and pita. Note that hummus and pita count as 2 sides here. The hummus was good and generous. The pita was grilled and was that lovely fluffy Greek style pita. The schwarma was tender, tasty, juicy, and covered in drippings. I wasn't into spicy, so I got the OG garlic sauce. Deliciously subtle. Prices are reasonable for these days. I noticed another store closer to where we live. Good to know.“

The food is better and you get more bang for the buck then going to a large scale fast food restaurant. This place is amazing! The portions are so big and there was so much rice we didn't need the additional rice but it was so tasty so we didn't mind it. Even with the current economy and the price going up everywhere, this is one of the more affordable restaurants to feed my family of four.“

LOL.I live in Tustin, but hummus Republic it's a perfect place to hang out with friends and family. Everyone can get what they want.. My son loves the pita sandwich with Morrocan steak or lamb and beef, my daughter the lemon chicken, I love the bowls with those delicious and tasty hummus , basically everything there!“

“Nancy at the counter is always fast and efficient. She really knows her menu! They have a variety of plates, salads, wraps, and sides. A few of my fan favorites include the works, which comes with a little bit of everything, kafta, beef, chicken, two falafel balls and two step grape leaves. Chicken wrap is made with pita bread, garlic paste, lettuce, tomatoes, and homemade salad dressing. The sides forBesides for your wraps are pickled turnips and your choice of spicy potatoes or salad. My favorite salad would be the grilled veggie salad with protein optional it has onions, bell peppers, zucchinis, yellow squash, and corn, all grilled and topped with their homemade balsamic dressing and feta cheese. Their stuffed grape leaves and falafel are always a hit as well. I have yet to try their baklava, but that is next on my list they’re located in a food plaza, so there are a bunch of other eating establishments as well and their dining areas and restrooms are always spotless. Most of the establishments have the restroom code and Wi-Fi password posted or if they don’t, you can always ask! The TVs mainly play the news and they have connections if you need to charge your phone or laptop overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat. “I’ve been going to Zankou Chicken for over 30 years starting with the Glendale restaurant. I’ve been to the Anaheim restaurant since it opened. Today I ordered to go, two half chicken plates per usual for my wife and I. EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS! The chicken was moist and flavorful. And the garlic sauce is the best as always. Zankou Chicken never disappoints!“
