“Tried out your Cerritos location, I lived in LA almost 3years and food especially the kebab wrap was the best by far and I have tried different kebab place’s before in LA. One of the best Kebab place in America, the lamb was moist and very tasty with great flavors, the combination of the hummus, salad, fries combined with the lamb was delicious, the fresh flat bread was soft and crispy on the outside. Add the garlic yogurt sauce wow your tastebuds explodes in your mouth, the food was very lite and not heavy like most kebab place so they got the right balance by using the flat bread and not pita bread that most place use on the wrap Well done this place remind me of a place back home in New Zealand. I give The Kebab shop in Cerritos 10/10 Highly Recommend this place to my friends and family and different locations in America. Will go again and try something different on the menu.“

They were backed up as when I first got there they were a little short staffed as The Friday Dinner rush was starting, but they kept their cool, their extra hand showed up, and they did well. Just make yourself visible so they got your name assuming you pre-ordered for pick-up. The short wait will not disappoint. And they definitely didn't forget my white sauce - always my biggest fear as it's truly the essence of this place!“

“Ok so listen up. I am a real Arabic/Mediterranean guy, so I grew up with this food as a child and my Jordaniain mom makes it when I visit her.

PROS:

- This place is surprisingly excellent to get to the point.

- The employees are not Arabic, they are hispanic but they have good service and they are very good at getting the recipes correctly! They are great and understand the food.

- The portions are great. Do not change this!

- The quality of meat is good!

- The price is very reasonable. This costs the same as garbage fast food places (14 - 20$) but obviously this is real food and much better compared to garbage American food. Great price / value.

- Dining area is small, but cozy. It reminds me of many italian, arabic, etc. family owned restranauts which I grew up eating in.

CONS:

- Please add french fries to your menu. In the Middle East and Europe, it is very weird if a med/greek food place does not have French Fries. Add fries with Mediterranean seasoning. The spicy potatoes are very tasty however.

- Nothing else... Good job guys!

I will return to this place and bring friends! Keep it up and do not change anything for the worse!

“Great ambiance and amazing food. I had a lot of food… falafel, spicy hummus, kafta kabob, tzatziki loaded with veggies, cheese balls, and baklava. All so delicious and fresh. I even loved the fresh pita and dipping sauce that was complimentary. From the manager and many servers, everyone was pleasant and friendly throughout my time there. I went during happy hour so the specials were great during that time. I’m definitely returning to this Mediterranean restaurant for sure. I loved it.“

Typical SoCal ordering set-up with menu board above the order station. Make your choices, pay, find a table, and wait for your order. You can get your self-serve drink and condiments while you're waiting. Service is generally good with some enthusiastic staff. Food is very good. We shared a chicken schwarma plate with hummus and pita. We added on sides of another hummus and pita. Note that hummus and pita count as 2 sides here. The hummus was good and generous. The pita was grilled and was that lovely fluffy Greek style pita. The schwarma was tender, tasty, juicy, and covered in drippings. I wasn't into spicy, so I got the OG garlic sauce. Deliciously subtle. Prices are reasonable for these days. I noticed another store closer to where we live. Good to know.“

“It's a BANGER!! Now and days with ridiculous prices for restaurants, I am taking my hard earned money to small business, mom and pop restaurants. The food is better and you get more bang for the buck then going to a large scale fast food restaurant. This place is amazing! The portions are so big and there was so much rice we didn't need the additional rice but it was so tasty so we didn't mind it. “The guys are so nice, professional and have wonderful customer service! I ordered a rice bowl not realizing that there was sauce included on it. I get violently ill with cream based condiments/sauces and cannot do white sauce at all. I was asked if I wanted sauce (knowing now they meant extra) and I animatedly said, no. Thinking the rice bowl would have no sauce.

Unfortunately, when I got my order it was covered in Tahini sauce. They made the order as normal, I just thought when I was asked for sauce there was no other sauce coming on it. I honestly was thinking I would just trash the top part that was covered and go on with my night. BUTTTT, they made me a new one without sauce. This is why Yalla's truck gets 5 stars from me. “Nancy at the counter is always fast and efficient. She really knows her menu! They have a variety of plates, salads, wraps, and sides. A few of my fan favorites include the works, which comes with a little bit of everything, kafta, beef, chicken, two falafel balls and two step grape leaves. Chicken wrap is made with pita bread, garlic paste, lettuce, tomatoes, and homemade salad dressing. The sides forBesides for your wraps are pickled turnips and your choice of spicy potatoes or salad. My favorite salad would be the grilled veggie salad with protein optional it has onions, bell peppers, zucchinis, yellow squash, and corn, all grilled and topped with their homemade balsamic dressing and feta cheese. Their stuffed grape leaves and falafel are always a hit as well. I have yet to try their baklava, but that is next on my list they’re located in a food plaza, so there are a bunch of other eating establishments as well and their dining areas and restrooms are always spotless. Most of the establishments have the restroom code and Wi-Fi password posted or if they don’t, you can always ask! The TVs mainly play the news and they have connections if you need to charge your phone or laptop overall, this is one of my favorite places to eat. We were going to go for sushi but he needs the restroom so we walked to the food court to use the restroom when I saw one of the last few restaurants still open in the food court and we decided to go with Mr Shawarma as it smelt so GOOD. The lady behind the counter was very nice. We both ordered the beef kabobs with the hummus and pita bread. The plate came with a bed of rice which the kabobs were on the fresh hummus and a fresh salad grilled tomato and grilled onion. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. The price is not too bad specially when it cost almost $15 at McDonalds for a combo now“
