“We visited for the first time on Mother’s Day. LOVE that they take reservations and we were able to choose between dining room or patio. There was a DJ and the moms in our party were given fresh cut roses. Our hostess was very knowledgeable and arranged a special mocktail for my sister who is nursing. Portions were very generous, everything was tasty, great value and experience. This will be our new tradition.“

“The food is always great, I was shocked to see bad reviews because we’ve never had bad food here and order a big variety. The wait staff is always great, and a side note I loved seeing the owners son there, he kept locking the door and it was cracking us up because we also have an autistic son absolutely obsessed with locking doors non stop, seriously for Christmas we just got him a bunch of locks and keys 😂

But I love the family environment, the prices are totally reasonable and the food is always delicious!“

“Amazing food , high quality! friendly, much improvement in the last half a year on the customer side. Love the new decor and there are quite a few different cheese steaks you can choose from. Some of the best curly fries I've ever had in Chico as well!“

“Holy cow that was a good burger! I had a bacon burger and my spouse had the mushroom. We split both burgers and they were both excellent! The mushroom, though, was definitely my favorite of the two.

The fries were great, the house sauce was great (I got the spicy) but the reason we'll be back is for the burger.

“A fantastic little diner clearly run by management and staff who really care about their clientele. Everything tastes great and there's clearly returning customers welcomed warmly at the door, which makes the place feel very earnest and hospitable. I'll gladly keep returning to this lovely spot! :)

Vegetarian options: There's definitely options for vegetarians - pancakes, French toast, omelettes, etc. But I am unsure about the vegan options to be honest.

Parking: Parking is located best to the restaurant and continues behind it - there are lots of spaces.

Kid-friendliness: Seems kid-friendly, as most diners do.“

Great food, great service. It’s around the corner from my house so we pop in occasionally. This review is based on many visits. Lots of constantly changing beers on tap with ciders and other options like wine. Food faves are sausage crostini, spätzle, and the Reuben sandwich! Large portions are good for sharing if you’re a light eater like me.“

“If you are not intimately familiar with this place and a regular patient, then basically I don’t know what you are doing with your life. Carlos makes incredibly good food, the portions are solid, the drinks are delicious and not a rip off, the bartenders are nice and fun, it’s just a great place. That said, the new hours for the rest of the summer are killing me. I repeat, killing me.“
