They park at the cross streets of Francisquito blvd. and are off of Puente Ave. (Look past the O'Reilly Auto parts) Follow the smoky smell!“

“I was looking for a good taco place and I came across Covyd Tacos on Yelp and decided to try them. Unaware that they were just serving on tables under a shade during the evenings, I gave them a try and ordered asada and cabeza burritos. I became a regular after that night and they practically knew me by name. Their burritos are very delicious and their servings are generous. They also had quesadillas, and a variety of tacos. They also have Al Pastor which is really tasty. They do not accept credit cards but they accept Venmo payments. I now miss their tacos and burritos since I was only in La Puente for 5 weeks but would be their customer again if I go back to La Puente, California again.“

“I come here a lot with my husband and friends but today was very disappointing. I ordered a torta de asada and was very upset. 5 pieces of black aguacate and half a piece of tomato for the entire torta. Than my husband ordered some tacos and the meat wasn’t seasoned and half of the meat was burned. They have a lot of picnic tables and a gazebo to sit under there are two parking lots and they have a wading pool for the kids and they also have a place called The hitting zone which is the batting cages that are there that you can rent out to perfect your batting your swing whatever it's a very nice park off of Florence and pioneer actually it's pioneer in Lakeland it's right across from St Pius X Catholic Church“

“Very comfortable place to be in. Everyone was relaxed and you could hear the staff in the kitchen communicating getting the orders out. They have good lighting, a larger modern menu board with a great selection. They had light hearted music playing and a big tv to watch the Dodger games. I was surprised to see Birria on the menu so had to get that for sure! I think I will may this my goto spot a couple days a week so I can eat better for less and no dishes to wash.“

My boyfriend accidentally dropped all three of his tacos right after getting them 😅 When he went back to order more, they asked if something was wrong with the tacos. He explained what happened and they offered to replace all of them! He insisted on paying for another 3, but when the order was ready, they surprised us with 4 tacos instead! 🥹❤️

“Sumo taco is excellent. Quality of meat and fried cheese shell is cooked to perfection. Sauces are light but not watery with excellent flavor. The green sauce is spicier than the red. The Half & Half nachos and fries were AMAZING. Again, the quality of the meats (I loved the asada thr best) and the perfectly cooked fries and homemade chips were perfect. Nice size plate as well.“

Perfect size (long not overly thick like some places do where every bite is hard to take) taste is spot on. The a la cart options out front allow me to add my toppings to each bite as I want. “Tacos Los Carnales is where it's AT!! My family and I keep coming back for more because we couldn't ask for a better meal for about $10 each, depending on what you get! I usually get the vampiros de camarones a la diabla and they are perfect ?? Tastes like a homemade meal with handmade tortillas and delicious salsas, not to mention grilled onions, jalapeños, beans, and consome to self serve. It's a good meal for any occasion! They open after 6 though, so it's only for dinner occasions ? (PS. Ate the vampiros too fast and forgot to take a picture next time!

Vegetarian options: There are plenty of quesadillas and beans to go around! ? There's a veggie burrito as well! I'm pescatarian myself, so I opt for shrimp. But worth a stop for the quality??
