“The Back Abbey is great! We visited Upland for a family event and ended up coming here twice because it was delicious. The Friday night we were there even had live music, which was the perfect accompaniment to the evening. The staff are super friendly as well. Definitely recommend!“

“I recently decided to visit The Diplomat in La Verne after being recognized by the Bonita Unified School District for my service to the schools and community. What a great choice! The food was absolutely delicious. My husband and I shared the combo plate with filet, chicken, and ground beef—it was more than enough for the both of us. The filet was juicy and sooo good! Excellent service and a fantastic experience overall. We’ll definitely be back!“

“I used to live in the area, it was my favorite place to go for a beer on a weekend night. The bartenders were friendly, the regulars were nice local people, the beer selection was always on top. “Best Korean street food restaurant in Chino Hills!! It's our favorite spot!! Chef Kenny's cooking is always on point. Servers (I'd name everyone but some of them are sadly gone) are always so attentive and welcoming, including the owner Jack who also acknowledges us when he is there. “Our server, Trisha, was immediately amazing. We had a 4 year old and 4 month old at the table, and Trisha made sure to manage their needs, and also acknowledge my sister's birthday. She even upgraded our dessert and included a birthday candle when she saw we had birthday cards on the table! She noticed the Chipotle chicken sandwich was too spicy for my dad. He did try to eat as much as he could, not wanting to cause a fuss, but she noticed and removed it from the final bill. Very good service and great food. We made reservations for 5pm, which was a great idea, as it did get busy pretty quickly for a Wednesday night. The salad bar is great, especially for the price. Will be back for that fudge in the mudpie again!! 🤩“

“Fun, yummy, and friendly seafood place. My black girlfriend took me to a new local Vietnamese seafood restaurant for my birthday. I was skeptical because I would drive an hour to Little Saigon in Orange County if I wanted good Vietnamese food, not to mention seafood. But I was delightfully surprised and have been back on my own often, especially for their mango salad and seafood glass noodle, my 2 faves. Thanks for saving me the hour drive.“

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

“I've been a Vince's customer all my 70 years. Not your typical Italian restaurant, just a spaghetti house, although the menu has been expanded recently to include lasagna. Always good, family friendly, just don't get hungry for spaghetti on Wednesday. To my knowledge they've never been open on Wednesday.“

“When I first moved to Rancho two years ago, I was searching for the next bar I was going to be a regular at…tried em all, GOODFELLAS is by far the best.(HANDS DOWN)…The atmosphere is electric, ALL the staff are super cool and I like the fact that security is tight because I don’t have to worry about something crazy happening. Just amazing drinks, friendly patrons, and music you can move to! Pool tables, darts, patio, food vendors…what else can you ask for? Maybe a pinball machine.. : )“

“We came to the shopping center to try a Soup and Salad joint but apparently it’s a fad right now with a ridiculous wait so we pivoted and took a look to see what else was in the parking lot. We decided on Cara Mia. All I can say is “wow!” The food here is fantastic. Warm ambiance. Friendly staff. Delicious food. The Fried Calamari is fried just right, a generous appetizer portion lightly breaded that doesn’t skimp on the actual calamari. We had angel hair pasta and the meat lasagna and both were fantastic! And the prices are incredibly reasonable, especially considering the size of the portions. We have a new Italian place on our list.“
