“Originally, I thought this place was another establishment due to seeing “the melt” on doordash, only to find out it was actually Dennys. I am so glad that wasn’t the case.

I drove by and saw the storefront and had to give it a try. From the moment I walked to the front door, I smelled an awesome aroma. The place was clean, decor was nice and staff were friendly.

The food itself was AWESOME. Generous portions. The burger itself is almost like what you’d see in commercials. The garlic parm fries were super tasty, and not over seasoned. BBQ bacon burger was juicy, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back. I spent about 30 bucks, but I also got a double instead of a single. To the CEO or Franchisee, awesome job!“

“When we visit NorCal we always make as many stops here as possible. I think we’ve covered a lot of the breakfast/lunch options and we’ve been very pleased. The food is always fresh and tasty but some standouts are any of the omelettes and Benedict dishes. I love their blueberry power scone, but a family favorite is the zucchini bread which personally I find just a bit too sweet. The salads are fresh and filed with a wide variety of veggies. My recent tuna salad was so big that I took half of it home.
The service here is outstanding, all lovely smiles and attentiveness.“

“My family dined in for the first time today. I rarely leave reviews but the food and service we received today were excellent. The gentleman that took our order was very kind. I explained that my youngest son had dairy allergies. He made sure to go to the chef to make sure there would be no cross contamination.

Food was amazing. We all had the double smash burger meals. My husband and eldest son upgraded their drinks to milkshakes. I had onion rings with my meal and they were perfectly crispy.

What prompted me to write the review was Chef Jeff himself. He came out to greet us and ask how everything was. We told him everything was excellent and it was definitely worth the hype. My son is back from college for Spring Break and this is the first place we drove to after dropping off his bags. We will return!“

“The food was absolutely delicious. We had the quesadilla and artichoke as appetizers 2 of us had the short ribs, one had the salmon, and one had the lamb shank. For dessert we had the pear tarte and the creme brulee. We were all extremely pleased with everything. The service was a little slow as far as taking our order and our waiter could have been a bit more attentive, but we will definitely be back!“

“Sooooo, my husband took me to this place because I’ve never been and wanted a really good burger. It had 4.5 rating so I took a chance. I’m glad I did. When we walked in we were greeted warmly. It’s a hole in the wall vibe but very clean. Our chef was Serena, and boy oh boy did she craft us an amazing tasting double cheeseburger. We even asked for a medium cook and she delivered. We also ordered the onion rings, French fries, and a pineapple shake. These are a MUST!

“We had a fantastic experience at Original Joe’s in Walnut Creek. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and classic. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.

The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. You can really tell they take pride in both the quality of their ingredients and the way everything is prepared. Every dish we tried was excellent, and the presentation was just as impressive as the taste.

What really stood out was the level of service. The team was friendly, professional, and made the entire dining experience feel special without being overbearing.

We were a party of nine and I came in with Jordan Taylor, who works there. Throughout the evening several members of the staff came by our table just to greet Jordan. It was very clear how well-liked and respected he is by his coworkers. Seeing that kind of genuine support from the team says a lot about the kind of person and employee he is.

The hospitality and service were so great that on our $600 bill I left a 40% tip because the experience truly deserved it.

“Excellent American plates, especially the tri-tip platter. Generous portions all around. Rarely does anyone in our family leave food on the plate. But here, we even took some half plates to go. They recommend medium rare on the tri-tip and that’s exactly the right taste. Love the bbq sauces on the table. And love the sides, especially the mixed veggies and sweet potatoes. You can’t go wrong here. Can’t wait to come back and try something else. Easy street parking or lots nearby. Put this place on your list the next time you’re in Walnut Creek.“

“All I’m gonna say is don’t sleep on the marketplace Café.

This place is great for simple eats like soups, salads, and sandwiches but the spicy shrimp Pomodoro and the pepperoni and mushroom pizza were surprisingly tasty. They also have seasonal specials like birria pizza, yum!

The pizza reminded me of the pizzas that you get at an artisanal pizza joint. It was handmade and executed really well.

The blackened salmon Caesar is so delish and I order it frequently for lunch.
