“This is a five star review from someone who doesn’t even like beer. The bartenders here are either very good at what they do or performing some kind of sorcery, but somehow they always manage to find something that I enjoy!

The beer selection on tap and in the fridge is super broad, really high quality, and constantly changing; the atmosphere is laid back; you can bring your own food in; and dogs are allowed! Their regular trivia nights and other events are always a good time as well.

“Lou's is a place where you can go have a drink and not have to worry about what you're wearing or who's there. Juke box and a dart board are the entertainment selections but there's no need for anything else. Lou's is truly your neighborhood bar. Agnes and Sara will take care of your needs.“

“Don't drink, so I ordered a diet Soda. The bartender warned me that he didn't know who's diet it was but that it wasn't that good. He was being nice to what ever it was I had. “It is a wonderful place I know the father and his sons. They are wonderful people, they're always very kind very polite very pleasant always smiling! If anybody needs a cab they call you a cab, they play great music and that's where I used to love to go and listen to the music, though it's been a long while that I have been there, but they've always greeted me when I walked in. “Had a great time. Other bars were closing at 9pm on a Sunday and these guys were open until 2. I've been going here for years and have never had a bad experience. Tucked away in a parking lot off of the main street. Turn down sos drive and left into the parking lot halfway down the hill, and you'll find it.“

“This place was the single redeeming thing in the area. I got stuck in this commercial cesspool for four and a half hours and wandered around for 3 of them trying to find decent food worth the price or some store that wasn't marked up for garbage. No dice. Finally found this place tucked away, so thankful. Had a couple drinks and chatted with old locals. Definitely support this place. In general I'll be avoiding the area but if I ever find myself there again I'll definitely go in for a drink and to get a brake from the depressing retail area outside.“

“Great vibes, terrible cocktails. It's all just crappy pre-made or horrific ratios with monstrosities of ingredient quality. Stick with anything canned or be around tap unless you want to just do shots. I would be happy to pay a couple more bucks for an actual craft cocktail made with quality made by a mixologist. Besides that, the customer service is awesome, the rules and regs are more than understandable, and when they bring in live music you're into, it's a really good time. Overall it's a great place, just stay away from the cocktails... Unless you're a Jack and Coke kind of person, then I will not be having cocktails with you regardless lol. Glad to have this place in the creek, been here a few times and it's always good times.“

“The group of us had a great lunch at Bourbon Highway. We enjoyed the food and service. The sandwiches and salads were tasty. They really give you healthy portions for the price. Great deal for sure. All the sides were really good. Try the onion rings and sweet potato fries. The spicy chicken sandwich was probably our favorite. Glad this place started serving lunch. Doesn't appear many people have figured that out yet.“

“Always enjoy the nights we can make it to dinner here. The staff is friendly and as long time patrons, we know many of the staff. Food is always excellent, fresh and hot. This visit nothing caught my interest on the specials so I was able to try a regular menu item I had not tried before. The pork cutlet, very well prepared and and the side of pasta and vegetables never disappoints.“

“Had our Saturday Thanksgiving with the family here and not only did they accommodate for about 30 people, but the service was excellent! Everyone who helped us was obviously a team player because everything came out seamlessly!

Some family we hadn't seen in years and I'm happy we all had an amazing experience!

Service is excellent and in comparison to our previous regular which is nearby, we found this is to be less expensive, better tasting and generous portions. Definitely a must try if you want to deviate from your regular for a change.“

“Great bar for meeting people! Gotta go on weekends after say 10 pm when it picks up. Drinks are reasonably priced for Danville and the live music is usually worth the $5 cover. The mood there is great and everyone is out to have a good time. It's not a snooty bar or a dive either. I think the live music is what makes it attractive, otherwise it would be just another bar.“

All folks are good folks at CJs. And that's my run on sentence on that matter.“

“I ordered takeout from this sushi spot and was really impressed. The sashimi was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. Everything was packaged neatly and ready on time, which made the pickup super easy.

Even though it was takeout, the quality was just as good as dining in. I’ll definitely be coming back here whenever I’m craving sushi.“
