“Yogurt shack is my friends favorite place to get fro yo in the area. I personally don't really taste a difference but they like it due to the flavors & toppings variety. There's usually parking and outdoor seating, the inside doesn't smell that great usually like a chlorine smell but you get used to it after being inside for a while. It's nicely decorated and the service is always good!“

“I was visiting a friend in the East Bay and craving some authentic Brazilian açaí when I found this place on Yelp. The food is phenomenal! I got the very berry açai bowl and an empada, and I could definitely tell that the ingredients are high quality. Every mouthful was delicious, and even the 15 oz size is a huge portion. The bowl it’s served in is deep, so it feels like a lot. My friend got a coxinha, which was just as yummy as the other two. It was also twice the size of coxinhas I’ve seen sold at other places. Impressive! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, and the atmosphere of the café is warm and cozy. Highly recommend!“

“Visited on November 5 and 12, 2023This is one of the few ice cream shops in downtown Walnut Creek. The ice cream menu changes every week, giving you a wide range of menu choices. The staff said that you can taste the flavor you want comfortably, so you can try new flavors. It costs about 5-6 dollars for a single cup, but it can be enjoyed by two people. I had vanilla with bourbon and salted caramel vanilla, and I was very satisfied because I could taste the rich flavor and sweet and salty flavor of bourbon.“
“One of the best froyo I've ever had! Wasn't able to try their gelato but I'm super impressed with their froyo -- super creamy, flavorful, texture is like soft serve ice cream. I'm so grateful I work by here because Yogurt Spot makes such a good after-work sweet treat. The employee who assisted me was very friendly and efficient. They offer samples of the gelato, and I'm assuming the froyo too, but I already knew what flavors I wanted so I didn't get froyo samples. Other customers were sampling the gelato. Froyo is priced per cup size, not oz, and includes 2 free toppings! Additional toppings are $0.75 each. Upfront the pricing seems higher than other chain froyo places but ultimately ends up being reasonable since pricing includes toppings and the cups are filled up high.I got a small, which I shared with my boyfriend, with Strawberry and Cookies and Cream + strawberries and Reese's PB cups toppings. Total came out to be $7-8. The froyo was so good and not icy at all.Can't wait to come back and try their gelato!“

“Great froyo close to home and work! I had the dulce de leche and sugar free birthday cake. Not only were these flavors tasty but they have A LOT of yummy toppings. Some of the ones they have I've never seen at other froyo places, such as birthday cake cookie dough and certain types of gummies. Besides the birthday cake cookie dough, I got regular cookie dough, marshmallows, marshmallow sauce, and animal crackers. There were more I wanted to try but I didn't have enough room. Maybe I need to get less froyo and more toppings, lol. Love that they use Fivestar rewards and that I got $1 off as a first time customer. What a great way to celebrate passing biochem and I can't wait to go back soon!“

“You must try their Ube soft serve but personally won’t recommend the taiyaki - does not taste fresh. The crepe was frozen and we were told to wait 10 minutes before eating it.And we preferred the soft serve vs the hard ice cream. Our fave hard ice cream was White Peach.“

“We were ready for ice cream after lunch. My friend came from Oakland because he really wanted to try the cotton candy burrito. Another friend saw the ice cream and got the yearning. We waited a bit, then saw a sign on the desk. Back at 3:00. It was 1:30! Their hours are supposedly from 10am to 9pm on Mondays. Very disappointed. We'll try another time because it looked like it would be good.(two weeks later) We went back around 11:00 on a Friday. I tried calling and nobody answered. We went inside the mall to check, and the place was closed. We had an errand to run and came back again just before noon. It was open. We couldn't ask the server why they hadn't been open because his English was very limited. But the ice cream was very good. My friend loved the cotton candy burrito. I had a scoop of chocolate chip ice cream which was good. It had little chunks of something which were tasty. I'm upping the stars to four because the ice cream is good. But you never know when it's going to be open.“

“This place has absolutely delicious birria tacos and consomé. This has been the only thing I've ordered from their menu (there's no other place I know of near me that serves these tacos) but I would also like to try their birria quesadillas. They're listed on the menu as "red tacos" and are about $15 for 3 tacos and the consomé is a separate extra cost. When it comes out fresh, the tacos are super cheesy and yummy. The building is very spacious and doesn't get too busy, so I always get to grab a table. In the middle of the restaurant, they display their desserts and pastries such as flan and alfajores. The restaurant is located in the Park and Shop surrounded by a lot of different Asian cuisines, dessert shops, and a grocery store. If you try parking close to the restaurant, that is the area that is the most congested, we always park in the back of the building.“
