“There's a rule that the small, local Mexican restaurants are usually the best. This one is definitely a good one. The asada is particularly full of delicious flavor. The carnitas was nothing special, but it was still good. The beans and rice with the combination plate are decent enough. The yellow corn tortillas are pretty good, and make nice little tacos. I have had better tortillas, especially since they're supposed to be house made, but I have also had much worse. These tortillas were better than average. We will likely order from them again, especially their asada. You have to try their asada. They don't speak much English, but they got our order right even though our Spanish is limited.“

“Haven’t had my tacos wrapped like that before. Thought it was going to be a disastrous mess in the pickup, but I managed to not destroy the cab. I had lengua, cabeza and barbacoa all on corn tortillas. I’d probably pass on the cabeza next time, but the other two were fantastic. No sauce needed. Portions wise? I’d have done better to just eat two tacos. My belly hurt when I was done even though it was so happy. Service was a bit awkward, but that doesn’t ruin a good taco!“

“This place is our MUST STOP on our drive from No Cal to So Cal. Best burritos ever. I always call ahead and they have great service when I do.“

“Horrible, the salsa was like water with hot sauce, no tomatoes, no onions, no cilantro...yuk!!! and, it cost $1.99. The chicken fajitas were tasteless, no seasoning, no cheese, no picidegallo. yuk!! A total waste of money. Our waiter never even asked if everything was ok...he was too busy gossiping with the kitchen staff! Save your money!!“
“I absolutely LOVE the food here, I don’t go anywhere else for my wet burritos, my girls love getting the asada fries and if you’re SUPER hungry you’ll definitely be satisfied with either of these two options. The workers are really nice and will converse if they’re not super busy. They’re pretty quick too :) I haven’t tried anything else because I’m always satisfied with my usual order ;) but I’m sure it’s all just as delicious <3“

“Reasonable quick bite at a gas & restroom stop between LA and the Bay Area. Baja Fresh is a good option if you don’t want burgers and gourmet steak (Harris across the freeway)Choice of meats, and tortillas. Generally tasty. However, I t’s hard to give a 5-star with pre-cooked meats that’s not very warm. I do like that the server gave us options to add exactly what we want and don’t want on the tacos.Friendly and prompt service Ann’s clean tables. Pictures contains current pricing as of 10/2023.“

“I don’t want to talk about the bathrooms or anything but omg. There is a grill inside here with Mexican food. Baja Fresh. BEST.BURRITO.EVER. I pulled in here while traveling thinking I would just grab subway bc I’m hungry but was wishing I had enough time to get “real food.” Saw the Mexican food grill and decided not to judge it by its surroundings (the grill itself is really clean, and the lady was even wearing a hair net). Anyway, I got the ultimo burrito with pork carnitas. They grilled it for me right then and there- carnitas vegetables and rice a popped it in a tortilla and grilled the outside. SO GOOD. Vegetables cooked just right. Carnitas tasted like it was slow roasted and then marinated. Seasoned perfectly. It was huge but so delicious I ate the whole thing and haven’t even thrown away the wrapping yet - needed to write this review first, it was that good.“

“My experience started at the drive thru, but a voice over the speaker told me they were not taking orders at the drive thru right now. When I go in, I ask to try the new chicken nuggets, but they didn't have them right now. I asked if they have the nacho fries, but they are not available. At this point, I just ask for my normal order, the same one I've ordered at dozens of other Taco Bells up and down the coast.
They were bomb as hell. All the ratios were on point. Rice was fluffy. Beans were perfect. No notes, this is an iconic Taco Bell experience. See you next time I pass by.“
