“We had a wonderful dinner & experience. Our family used to come to the City Hotel often when I was a child. It is so great to have it re-opened with the same nostalgic atmosphere and fantastic foods, once again. The server was friendly and prompt. We are putting this back on our list of must-eats in town.“

“We had lunch there on 12/16 this year and it was delicious and a fun environment and experience. The Pasty, a rarity among West coast restaurant offerings, is fantastic, every bit as good as one made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the Cornish copper miners enjoyed a pasty for lunch. The right smell when you cut into it, the crust was perfect and the flavor can't be beat. Highly recommended.“

“First of all the staff is top notch. Friendly and fast service. The pork belly eggs Benny was magically delicious. The pork melted like butter, and the hollandaise sauce was fabulous. I would drive the 18 hours from Canada just to eat here again. thank you for the great experience.“

“We had burgers one night, and pizza the next. We really enjoyed our meals both nights. The service was great the first night, but the second night, I think they had a trainee and the trainee definitely needed training especially in the manner in which she interacted with people. But all in all this is a great spot and the food is very good. Would come back again.“

“Yianni's is a long established Greek restaurant in downtown Sonora. Not sure of its backstory but it feels like a family-run business. I had a Gyro and Greek fries - both were delicious and generously portioned. Service was quick and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“I took a relative here for her first time today and we had a lovely lunch. We all enjoyed the food that we got. My aunt got the quiche Lorraine with a simple side salad and she was so happy with how yummy and fresh everything was. My mom got the apple walnut salad with their house-made apple cider dressing and she ate the whole thing. I got a turkey club add avocado and a side of sweet potato fries with their homemade ranch. It was alll soooo amazing. I just love how fresh everything is. I tried some of the dressing from my mom’s salad and kept pouring it on my sandwich, that’s how good everything was! Not to mention our server (Eli I believe his name was) was super attentive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!“

Their truffle fries, the calamari and shrimp appetizer, the salads - all super fresh and tasty along with a fantabulous wine list....❤️🍷Finish up with their "home-made" ice cream....yummm....and our server Maddie made it all special with great service and a smile!
